I've also seen Tammy for a session and that was also a quality care. She clearly has gained a sort of mastery in her skills. She has trained under Eric Dalton, who is one of the leading massage therapists in the world. After our session, my eyes were red and I felt high (when I was completely sober). The office in general has improved in the short time I've been there with new pieces of art that are nice to look at while waiting for the session or doing payment in the end. Recently, I had meniscus surgery on my knee and was having trouble walking. My quad was so tight and stiff, and I had to walk with a cane just to help support my body weight. We upped my treatment to every week and in just two sessions my quad let go and I was able to walk without my cane. I don't know what I would do without Linsey and her amazing massage work. All that being said, I usually only see Linsey... but there are time she is not available. That's when I see Tammy! She is equally talented and gives a quality message. They're either incredibly painful or useless. I had a therapist in FL who I saw regularly during pregnancy and he was amazing and I built a GREAT repoire with. Then I moved here and found a woman who I again felt did a good job, etc and never hurt me, then she started ranting about her life and problems everytime I went so THAT was very stressful and I left feeling crap. I recently started working with Aaron Woods at Grind Time Fitness and the training is INTENSE and hard. That said, I had SO many knots in my shoulders and neck. Tuesday night I got maybe 2.5 hours sleep. And I kept waking up because I was in pain. That was not okay. He had told me, since last week...to go get a massage. I caved. And I knew that this was a reputable place and it was nearby, and most importantly, there was availability. I never ever have any expectations of a massage because I don't really care for them. But I honestly have to say this was probably THE best massage of my life. It was uncomfortable at times because I was super knotted up, but never painful. And I know to breathe, just lik during tattoos, so I was fine. But I felt SO much better. But more importantly I SLEPT. Ameen told me to sleep on my back with a pillow under my legs as much as possible for the next week to let everything settle. Which is difficult because I'm a side sleeper. But I followed orders and slept SO hard. I felt SO much better today it was unreal. I cannot recommend highly enough. Jerky and while we had 90 minutes, it was really fast strokes and made it not relaxing at all. He never worked on my neck and shoulders while I was face up which is odd since I mentioned they were an area of focus I wanted. They also don't do the hot wet towels on your back to wipe off excess oil. I was not impressed when I left with so much oil on my feet I was sliding around and my car seat had residual massage oil when I got out. The man who gave me a massage awkwardly ended it by saying, "okay, that's it". And walking out. No, I'll meet you outside or we'll have tea for you... completely abrupt and odd. I walked out after dressing and the front desk lady was nice enough but said she didn't know I wa done and was going to go get me water and snacks. However yesterday I was massaged by a man I don't think normally does them. I've always figured he's the owner of the business and focuses on transactions or bringing people in. He was extremely hard on my back. I told him over the course of the 20 minute massage about a half dozen times to go softer, or that it hurts. He would kick it down from a 10 to an 8 (still not ideal but better) then slide back to doing a 10. The pressure was enough that my neck was being pressed into the chair enough I was getting a bit nervous but kept telling myself that it's only 20 minutes. You should not be feeling like a massage is an act of endurance. My back hurts. It interfered withy sleep last night - sleeping on my back would excruciating but laying on my stomach made my shoulder blades pinch the area he hit hardest. I woke up several times needing ibuprofen, later an ice pack. Nearly called out of work. I work a very physical labouring job so I was supposed to come in feeling better not worse.

I usually only go here for emergency since they take walk in but after that massage I think I will take my money somewhere else. $100 is a lot of money.
