I would not recommend this place. Had a very bad experience here. Was rushed and the tailor did not listen to what I wanted, then blamed me when I wasn't happy with the result and asked for it to be fixed. read more

I have used this store for several years. They are polite, reasonably priced and their work is great.

We were very sad when our usual tailor retired and left this little nondescript shopping center and so hopeful when Angelic Tailor opened in the same spot. They updated the entry and fitting areas and removed the curtain so you can see the well-organized work area. Completion times seem a little longer than before but the quality is the same or better. Had an issue with an alteration and they took the item back and remedied it no questions asked. Prices are consistent with other tailors. Very friendly and professional. Happy to have a neighborhood tailor we can trust again! read more

I was sad my tailor had closed their business. I decided to come here and was NOT impressed, I had my bathing suit altered and they cut it shorter but didn't even hem it. Now is just cut! Will not come here again. Please check what they price mark on the ticket. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The lady messed up my mother's dress and did not want to return any of her money! THE DRESS WAS FOR MY MOTHERS ANNIVERSARY!! It took months for them to even finish the dress and when we picked it up it had food stains, cut too little, nd tried to still make her pay for it! Experience Ever!!..This place I do not recommend I was renewing my vows on July 4th 2021I took my wedding dress to them in March 2021 months before my day they said they would have it ready!!they cut my dress way too! This place used to be good and they did a good job. Nowadays, due to language problem they mess things up. Just recently I had given them a dress for alteration. They totally messed it up. Did not follow any directions . When I went to pick up the dress they were demanding more dollars to do the job that they had promised on the receipt, saying the lady didn't understand when I gave it. They were demanding that I pay more or they wouldn't do it at all. I had no choice but to pay as the dress was for a wedding! Never will go back at all!!! I don't recommend this place at all. This is a good place for simple jobs (I'm editing my review and cannot change the original title). The prices are reasonable and the staff friendly, and they have everything a tailor should have (a stand, large mirrors, good lighting, dressing rooms). Unfortunately, the one time I took a more involved job, a winter coat that needed a new lining, they did a terrible job: The lining lagged in the back and could be seen from behind. I would never take a fancy dress to them, but simple jobs have always turned out fine. Another issue is that they don't accept credit so you need to be sure to have enough to pay in cash. read more

This place is a disaster with their customer service. I took 2 suits to be altered on September 26, 2018. I need these suits for an event on 2 weeks later in the month of October, 2018. I gave instructions for both jackets to be altered and both pair of pants to receive a 2-inch perforated hem. When I returned to pick-up the suits, the hems were altered at 1 inch. seamstress expected me not to notice, however I measured the hems and they were wrong. I left the suits to be corrected and informed them that I desired to speak with either the owner or manager and was informed that they, she was not in. Mind you I now have given them a second opportunity to correct the suits. I put the suit on and the pants to one of the suits was short. I finally spoke to the manager seeking a discount for the original fee, for the work being improperly completed and for my month long inconvenience. Remember I need to the suits for a date in October and didn't have them completed in time. I was there to get the suits attempting to negotiate the fee, well it became violent with LiLi "PUSHInG ME, "pushing me and "HITTING ME," hitting me, yes I said "Pushing and Hitting" me. Now as a "Man" my first thought was what my family taught us as youths, that a "Man" does not hit a woman. I walked away from her and she then leaped at me for the second time and I removed myself from me. Yelling loud "lady you better stop pushing and hitting me. There was another customer inside the store , telling LiLi to stop LiLi. LiLi then threaten to called the police and I pulled out my phone to call the police and she rushed and ran in the back of the store. Oh did I mention that I was insulted by LiLi, she desired to give me a "FIVE DOLLAR DISCOUNT" for all the incorrect alteration, and for my more than a month inconvenience. I was hit, pushed and locked in the store by LiLi. After I left the store talking with the other customer outside, the manager comes out of the store now attempting to offer a discount. "To LATE manager." I called my God-Daughter to the store and the manager addressed me as her friend, I told I am not your friend, and I told her, you desire want to be my friend now because I am going to file charges on LiLi for putting her hands and the manager said that LiLi did not understand what she was doing nor what she did. I told the manager I am not your friend and that LiLi deserves to go to jail. I will be passing this info on to Better Business and other social streams. This is not the manner in which a customer should be treated by anyone. LiLi thought by stating to call the police I would run afraid, thus when I took my phone to called the police she ran to the back. Oh, when I was in the store the other customer came to pick up a "cap" they altered and they messed up his cap, and the manager offered him his cap free of charge, but yet wanted me to pay for the alterations for my suits and I refused to do so. By the way the other customer said he would not be coming back there again. If you are going to Angel Tailors be ready to be disrespected. I have been taking my suits to them for more than 15 years. They used to do awesome work but now they don't care about your clothing. I will never be going back there. LiLi and the manager was out of line and will be reported. The manager said that she was to busy to meet with me. Sad. The other customer told the manger and LiLi to let me go. ALthough it is sad to mention the other customer was a white man and I a African American, LiLi and the manger was rude to me but listen to the other man. I see it as racism. God Bless and keep your heavy hands of anointing on their lives, I bless them , but yet this will be reported. By the way my rating of this business is a minus 10. read more

I never been to a tailor before and thought I would try this place out for the first time. I would be careful when bringing new clothes into this place to get altered. They did a decent job with my shirt, but left a quarter size brown stain on it. I was annoyed at the fact that they didn't own up to the stain on the shirt. I'm not trying to leave a nasty mean review but it's just frustrating to leave there with a new shirt that has a stain on it. Definitely going to another place in the future. One that will actually listen to what you want done and not leave stains on your outfit. read more

After 2 attempts I ended up with a dress that I can't wear. The work and the customer service were both poor. Not recommended.

While I thought the final alterations were sufficient and the delivery time was good, the price was overpriced. It's a shame they weren't able to quote the cost of the alterations until afterwards, with it being way more than anticipated. It's bad business to not be upfront and honest with customers, and I would recommend you either ask for a quote upfront or expect to pay more than what you were thinking. read more

The ladies that work here are very friendly and welcoming. I was seen right away, and my dress was finished on time. They did a great job hemming my dress, however it is not perfect. When on a hanger, the second layer can be slightly seen, but when I put it on, you can't see it, which is what matters to me. Also, the sequins on my dress was snagged in a couple spots, but not too noticeable. I blame the way the dress was made more than the seamstress. Overall I would go there again. read more

They are all extremely nice, the alterations are completed on or before schedule and I am always pleased. They are more than willing to make adjustments so try your clothes on before you leave so that you'll know if something needs a little tweaking. BEWARE!!! I wish they had negative stars that is how BAD their services are!! I took my wedding dress to them to have a corset put in and to have my ruffles tacked so they were fuller, little did I know what I was getting myself into. First of all, they are extremely overpriced they charged $180 to put in a corset and sew a few ruffles which I was more than willing to pay If the job was done right! My mom picked up my dress and brought it over. I tried it on and all kinds of parts of my dress were coming unhemmed and well basically falling apart, they still had pins in the dress where they never even sewn the things I PAID FOR. My mom took the dress back up there the following day and the lady looked astonished at what she saw and said to come back in a few days to talk to owner, so she did. DIANA KONG does not run an honest business. She refused to refund the money for the tacking of the ruffles since it clearly was not done! She was very unfriendly and clearly only out for herself. Please consider this review before going to this shop so you don't have to deal with these issues and a (brand new) wedding dress that's falling apart after taken here. read more
