I have used this store for several years. They are polite, reasonably priced and their work is great.

After 2 attempts I ended up with a dress that I can't wear. The work and the customer service were both poor. Not recommended.

This storefront is run by a group of very kind people and I will be back. I requested a hem of my…read morepants that were several inches too long and was pleased with the result. Their quote was $12.99 and although their policy is cash only for orders under $25, they made a one time exception for me since I didn't have any cash on me. Turnaround time was 3 days (Monday afternoon to Thursday afternoon), but service can likely be expedited if needed. They asked me when I needed my pants back and I told them there was no rush. Some of the employees speak limited English but can still understand a lot of clothes-related words. They will contact someone higher up if they do not fully understand.

My hot girl hack is to buy whatever pants fit/on sale, and get the length hemmed, (am petite 5 ft)…read more I just bought high waisted, wide legged jeans and fell in love with the fit, plus it was on sale, like 50% off. But they were out of the petite lengths, so I bought the regular length ones And decided to get my jeans hemmed. They are life changing. For ~$10, you have jeans that are tailored to your height. They don't drag, look unkept, and I don't have to fold the bottom like I'm in a flood. I also requested that they kept the width of thickness of the them. The hem was straight. I brought a couple pairs in at noon one day and they finished by the next day, and picked up the following day. So 2 day turn around. I'm sure it varies based on their customer volume and service required. They were also so sweet and nice. I'm definitely planning on using them in the future.

Horrible experience!! I brought in four dresses for alterations and patiently waited as the man…read morehelping me went back and forth between me and other customers. He spoke very little, wasn't at all friendly, but that wasn't the issue. After he finished pinning my last dress, a customer asked for my opinion on a pair of pants she had altered there. The zipper was noticeably crooked and the one of the sides of the pants looked uneven. I agreed with her concerns, and she asked that the pants be fixed. He insisted they just needed ironing. As I was checking out, I asked him, "How will you be fixing the sleeve to this dress?" His response was, "This is my job, I don't have to tell you how I'm going to fix it." I didn't realize how rude that was in the moment, so I calmly said I just wanted to know if he planned to cut the fabric (which that is what I wanted) because I was concerned it might end up looking bulky if he just shrink the elastic of the sleeve (which is what he mentioned he was going to do). He suddenly began unpinning the sleeves and told me, "You ask too many questions--go do it yourself or take it to someone else." Then he proceeded to unpin the rest of my dresses and said he wouldn't do the alterations for all others either. His passive aggressive behavior was shockingly rude. All I could say was "you are so rude" grabbed my items while he was unpinning them, and proceeded to walk out. The sweet customer who was still there heard it and kindly apologized on his behalf even asked him to apologize to me. I told her she did not need to apologize for him--he should be the one apologizing, he never looked at me and did not say a word, To the sweet lady: I truly hope they fixed those pants for you, because they didn't look right and that was not an ironing issue, I also hope you find a better place next time. And to the front desk man who treated me so disrespectfully: If you're going to have such a poor attitude, the least you could do is lower your prices, improve your customer service, and learn how to handle more complex alterations. You can't have a business & treat people like that. And what I am seeing, similar situations have happened before to others.

Meh. I have been here for alterations before which were fine, I believe this will be my last time…read more The dress had a band around waist, which was taken up on the sides. I received it back with the band barely hanging on,... I did not feel it was worth them keeping to fix as I had already spent $100 for the current alterations. services paid for: take / adjust seam lines and hem

While I usually go to my local dry cleaners for alterations, I figured working on a wedding dress…read morewould require a little more skill, so I gave this place a shot, as it's located really close to work that I could stop by during lunch break or on my way home. Upon entering, you see lots of bright colors from all the quinceanera and formal sample dresses some small displays of accessories for wedding, quinceanera, or communion. It looks like Jane does all the work, as I didn't see anyone else. She did a beautiful job on the bustle for my dress, but then I changed my mind and asked her to completely remove the train! At first she was reluctant (I basically wanted her to undo all the hard work she put into doing the bustle, and there's no turning back once you cut off the fabric!), but she eventually agreed. I think her prices are reasonable, and turnaround time was about 2 weeks (lots of layers = lots of work). She also has many catalogs for ordering formal dresses (I think she said shipment time was1-3 months?).

Jane went way over my expectations! I was recommended to her by my fiance who gets his button up…read moreshirts taken in here at a great cost. Originally I went to one tailor who said they wouldn't be able to alter my wedding dress because of all the beading, so I was very nervous to try and take to another place. Jane was very professional and reassuring that she would be able to alter my wedding dress from a size 12 to a size 8. She said she had worked with heavy beading multiple times and it was no problem for her! I also needed bridal buttons replaced and she was able to find me perfect pearl ones she had in stock. She also added 5 bustles to my gown, which were placed beautifully when the skirt was bustled! She added cups to the front as well, which I didnt even know could be done with this dress! She did all this under 2 weeks! And the price was amazing! When I recieved my dress, it fit so perfectly I was blown away! You cant tell where she cut and restitched the beaded bodice and the hem on the skirt was perfect as well! I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs alterations of gowns, suits, and formal clothes. Thank you Jane for making my wedding perfect!
