I was charged a little less than $150 to take up everything which I thought was quite pricey being their sign says 5.99. I tried them all on and the lady pinned them. I paid up front and my husband picked them up the day we were packing because of our tight schedule. I threw the shorts in my suitcase and took off for my cruise. When I went to wear a pair, I put them on but absolutely nothing has been done but all of the pins had been taken out. They were unwearable...both pairs. This place is not a place of integrity and I do not recommend using them for 2 reasons....they are untrustworthy and waaaaaaay too expensive.

He spoke very little, wasn't at all friendly, but that wasn't the issue. After he finished pinning my last dress, a customer asked for my opinion on a pair of pants she had altered there. The zipper was noticeably crooked and the one of the sides of the pants looked uneven. I agreed with her concerns, and she asked that the pants be fixed. He insisted they just needed ironing. As I was checking out, I asked him, "How will you be fixing the sleeve to this dress?" His response was, "This is my job, I don't have to tell you how I'm going to fix it." I didn't realize how rude that was in the moment, so I calmly said I just wanted to know if he planned to cut the fabric (which that is what I wanted) because I was concerned it might end up looking bulky if he just shrink the elastic of the sleeve (which is what he mentioned he was going to do). He suddenly began unpinning the sleeves and told me, "You ask too many questions--go do it yourself or take it to someone else." Then he proceeded to unpin the rest of my dresses and said he wouldn't do the alterations for all others either. His passive aggressive behavior was shockingly rude. All I could say was "you are so rude" grabbed my items while he was unpinning them, and proceeded to walk out. The sweet customer who was still there heard it and kindly apologized on his behalf even asked him to apologize to me. I told her she did not need to apologize for him--he should be the one apologizing, he never looked at me and did not say a word, To the sweet lady: I truly hope they fixed those pants for you, because they didn't look right and that was not an ironing issue, I also hope you find a better place next time. And to the front desk man who treated me so disrespectfully: If you're going to have such a poor attitude, the least you could do is lower your prices, improve your customer service, and learn how to handle more complex alterations. You can't have a business & treat people like that. And what I am seeing, similar situations have happened before to others.

Their quote was $12.99 and although their policy is cash only for orders under $25, they made a one time exception for me since I didn't have any cash on me. Turnaround time was 3 days (Monday afternoon to Thursday afternoon), but service can likely be expedited if needed. They asked me when I needed my pants back and I told them there was no rush. Some of the employees speak limited English but can still understand a lot of clothes-related words. They will contact someone higher up if they do not fully understand.

But they were out of the petite lengths, so I bought the regular length ones And decided to get my jeans hemmed. They are life changing. For ~$10, you have jeans that are tailored to your height. They don't drag, look unkept, and I don't have to fold the bottom like I'm in a flood. I also requested that they kept the width of thickness of the them. The hem was straight. I brought a couple pairs in at noon one day and they finished by the next day, and picked up the following day. So 2 day turn around. I'm sure it varies based on their customer volume and service required. They were also so sweet and nice. I'm definitely planning on using them in the future.

It does not matter how nice I am whenever I come in to try on pants or a dress if I don't like where she has put the pen at she gives a nasty attitude like I don't know how I want my own clothes to fit! The customer service is at an all-time low, the men can barely speak the English unless they are paid actors and the manager is disgusting! The pants that I recently had altered. I had her leave a little extra room for not only a flat sandal but a kitten wedge so not much of a difference at all. First off she did them so short they were too short for a flat sandal and she tried to get loud with me, saying little snarky remarks with her nasty attitude! The dress I chose was a fit and flare with fully beaded bodice. Thankfully I am tall so I didn't need it hemmed but I did need a bustle and the dress taken in at the waist a couple of inches. Lily didn't hesitate to take me on as a client even though the dress would require hand stitching due to the jewels. Her work is fabulous and so detail oriented. ALSO, she doesn't require payment up front, she believes in her work so much that you pay after the product is done. I find that VERY assuring!! Lastly, I brought her my dress in October and I got it back from her in January so I could get my bridals my done. LASTLY, after I got my bridals done, I realized that it needed an extra stitch on the shoulder to cinch the bust. I texted Lily, even though I had already picked it up and I had paid her, she said bring it in, and she fixed it while I was in the shop and I walked out that day with my dress (she also didn't charge me to bring it back for the quick fix). Also, the bustle she did was just eight buttons, and it stayed up the entire night, even though I was dancing (my train was 4 feet long of thick tool and glitter) Overall, she is an amazing seamstress, she believes in her work, and if any brides have a very intricate dress like mine, do not hesitate to reach out to Lily as she has the expertise to work with extreme beading.

The door was locked, and although someone was clearly inside, she refused to come to the door or even ask what I needed. She wouldn't open the door, acknowledge me, or offer any assistance whatsoever. I wasn't asking for a complicated service, just a simple question about taking measurements and the complete lack of basic customer service was shocking. The interaction came across as extremely rude and unprofessional.
