I stopped in to ask about getting my nails done and they took me in right away. They are so kind and friendly. They really know what they are doing and the place is very sanitary. They took the time to talk to me and go over exactly what I wanted and did an amazing job. I am still getting compliments from everyone including strangers about my nails. I went here for a gel mani before Thanksgiving. I chose a taupe / neutral color . I have gone here for years and have always been pleased. This time it was a awful experience. When I got home I realized that about 1/3 of my nails were missing complete areas of nail polish. I went in the day after Thanksgiving to say I wasn't happy with the job the manager gave me a really hard time saying that that's what you get when you use that type of color. She continued to argue with me . I was taken back - as I thought when I paid more than the normal mani for a gel that I was told would last longer than the usual that they would at least cover all of my nails in color. I said I would put a review on yelp and she immediately agreed to have a woman re paint my nails which I then gave her a 10 dollar tip for. She then stomped off into the back room and sat with her back to us . Another technician used a grinder on my nails to remove the color in a hurry instead of using acetone. This left my nails with deep gouges and extremely thin as she ground my nails down. Over 2 months later I have deep gouges 1/2 way down each nail from the grinding and my nails are extremely thin , brittle and gouged from the sanding. As I've shared this with a few friends they've shared similar experiences. This place used to be great but it seems like the manager is just burnt out . If you are going here to feel pampered....this is not the place. read more

I want there for gel nail fills for probably a year. I started with the older woman who sits at the first or second chair . Every time I went she hurt me either with the drill , the nippers , or the regular file. If I flinched she would just keep going like she didn't hurt me and they say things like "relax" or you hands are stiff !! ended up switching over to some guy there that never spoke two words the entire time he did my nails and he had a strange habit of banging off the file on the floor which was nasty . He was very unclean in many ways including brushing his pants off and with the same towel he wiped the nail table. No more !! read more

I went in for a pedicure and had to wait about 15 minutes and the lady finally called me and brought me to the pedicure chair and then she left and started helping another customer. I was waiting in the chair for about 10-15 minutes again before she came back. Furthermore, they said my nails were dry and I was all set to put my shoes on and leave. Little did I know after sitting under the dryer for 25-30 min they weren't and as soon as I got home and took my shoes off they were smudged. I would not recommend. read more

I wanted to try a new nail salon in canton, since I recently moved here, so I decided to give Angel Tips a try. I had an 11am appt for a UV gel fill, they sat me right away. I started with a woman and about 10min in, they asked her to work on someone else's nails and gave me a man named David... not only am I unhappy with the way my nails came out (there areblack flecks stuck throughout the gel from the file he used, the woman used a different pink gel than he did so half my nails are one pink while the other half is a totally different color pink, and you can see the edges of my old nails under my new nails because they didn't file all of the loose sides enough), but he was incredibly aggressive throughout the appointment. It also seemed like he was rushing. He actually sliced the tip of my finger with the side of the file because he was moving so quickly and abrasively, which drew blood, and when I jerked my hand back because it hurt he did not seem phased that he hurt me or that I was bleeding. He never apologized. He never clipped my cuticles, the "back massage" was only about 15 seconds, and he used such little lotion that it didn't even moisturize my whole hand. I actually washed my hands immediately after my appt because the semi-lotioned hands felt so gross. Overall not a pleasant experience and I will not be going back. read more

I've been here a few times and always come away feeling pleased with my new mani/pedi at what I consider a fair price...$38 plus an extra $5 for the longer lasting polish. I've rarely waited more than a few minutes, even without an appointment, and while it isn't the most luxurious salon experience, its pleasant, bright, clean and affordable. Staff is warm and the little shoulder massage while your nails dry at the end is about as good as what I get from my hubs so I'll take it. read more

The services here are ok just ok. I have left many times with lumpy uneven nails. What bothers me about going here is If you have long nails they will ask you " how do you take a bath"! Rude first of all my nails aren't that long. I find this extremely disrespectful and rude. It's a nail salon your customers are paying for a service. Provide great service and keep such questions to your self. They will also tell you that they don't like your nails color as well when you come in to have it taken off. But got my mani (about five minutes) while the gal instructed another client in how to wrap and remove her gels - on her own! Went here for a fill the last time I had my acrylics on. Ended up with a fungal infection in my fingernail. Which still has not gone away and the whole nail looks like it will be falling off soon. The reason I mention this is because whatever tools they were using on me were NOT cleaned and INFECTED from someone else!! I am absolutely disgusted and now have to suffer the consequences because of THEIR poor actions. As a customer who was already paying more than what a fill should normally cost, you could at least have the decency to clean your tools. Or buy tools for one time use that you can throw away afterwards. read more

if I could rate a zero I would ... I went in today and got the worst service that I literally left in the middle and didn't even let the guy finish my nails. I had old acrylics on my nails and asked for them to be taken off and simply get a manicure. He drilled my nails for about half a second put the drill down took out his wallet took out a credit card proceeded to prop my nails off roughly with a credit card . He was pushing very hard so I pulled my hand back and said OUCH he pulled it more towards him and shove the credit card ripping have my nail off . Why am I paying for this horrible service ?? Guy who did my manicure didn't even take his time. Took him as quick as 15-20 minutes... He didn't clip the dead skin around my nails they looked dry and like they did when I walked in. My nail already started chipping as soon as I was at the drying stand. I had to have another lady fix them for me, she was patient and cleaned them up to look better. Be aware your nails will have weird specs on them from their dryers which looks dirty. I won't be coming here for more manicures read more

Probably one the best pedicures I've had in a long time. Sue was fantastic. Very thorough. Detailed in callus removal & cuticle removal. Also very attentive to my comfort level during my massage. I swear my pedicure lasted 1.5 hrs. Worth every penny. Just a note, it was very very quiet & I'm not sure if service quality changes when it gets busy. Still one on my favorite pedicures. read more

I've been a customer here for about 5 years. In the past, I was truly been impressed with their service and would always recommend them. They are now under new management and many of the excellent staff members no longer work there. The past 3 times I have visited (under the new management) my service has been sub par. Today I made an appointment for a gel manicure. Over the course of my appointment my nail tech was changed 3 times, I had concerns about the cleanliness of the tools being used and my manicure is awful (uneven nail polish application and crooked nails, even after I asked the nail tech to fix it). I almost got up and walked out in the middle of the manicure - which I have never even thought about doing before. Disappointed in this establishment. I've been having my nails professionally done for over 18 years consecutively and I have never had a better experience!!! I have UV gel nails and Summer does them perfectly. I've been coming to Angel Tips for over a year and I have yet to have any lifting or broken nails. My nails are the one thing I do for me and I'm very particular about the quality of the products used and the cleanliness of the shop. Somewhat disappointed. Tried them out, having just moved to the area. Very nice staff, but my gel manicure was less than average for $37+. When I asked to have nails fixed because of the bleed over from the color, the technician's answer was to file the bed of my nails--which is not going to remove the red gel color from my skin after it's already baked. Over an hour in, she said that the only way to fix it would be to redo it. Time I don't have. Still paid full price and was given a "rewards card" for my next visit, after being told "it will be alright". For the price, don't expect soap and water to take care of removing the bleed that is three-layers thick. Probably won't try them again. :-( read more

This is a bit of a mixed review, in that the woman who did my pedicure and manicure was sweet and did a great job. My issue is that my friend and I each had paid for the mini spa, which is billed as manicure, pedicure and 20 minute massage. I had a ctsavenow coupon and my friend had a gift certificate. I paid 10.00 extra for callous removal, which was worth it. When it came time for the "massage" we were told that it was included in the course of the pedicure and manicure. First of all, it wasn't. I have gotten mani/pedis there before and if anything it was scaled down as they were busy. Secondly, it is not at all suggested by the 20 dollar up charge and description that this wouldn't be a seperate service. My best guess is they didn't have a masseuse on staff today, or they were too busy. So tell me, don't lie. I have one more coupon, but then I'm done here read more
