First let me say that my experience was around 40 years ago when I attended Angel town‼Yes a long long long time ago so I remember my 4th grade teacher Mrs Arrenberg(Madian Name) She got married as I can't think of it ( Hope I spelled your name right) She asked me to read out loud in reading book or English I can't remember BUT what I do remember was struggling pitifully to read and sound out 3 letter words not to mention 4,5,6 letters and crying while trying my very best read‼She help me through my 3 sentence paragraph and rubbed my back and arm and said now I know that anyone who tried as hard as you and didn't give up should not feel ashamed No Mam she said A LOT of people would have quit and said I can't she said You are brave and strong and a hard working student there's no quit in you and Be proud of the job you did you gave it every bit of your best‼Then she preceded to tell the rest of the class that she wants everyone to always try that hard and always give their absolute best effort because they can hold their held up high and be proud‼She completely turned the entire experience around and NOT only for me but for my entire classNow that's not even the BEST PARTAt break she asked me to wait for a moment to talk for a secondThat's when she asked could we read a couple of sentences together from all kinds of books and see how comfortable I feelWell I know now it wasn't about comfort it was because she knew and needed to confirm that I COULD NOT READ‼Mind you I was in 4th grade and could barely read at 1st grade level‼She used her own personal time after school and even weekends and taught me 1-4 grade reading that's right in a years time I learned how to read 1st-4th grade levels‼To this day I don't give up I might cry or be extremely upset BUT I WONT AND DONT QUIT after accomplishing that with her help I can't do any different I owe that to her if anything else I will love her appreciate her and have a ridiculous amount of gratitude and NEVER FORGET HER I still use EVERYTHING she taught me even the LITTLE TRICKS that still help me to this day‼I will always need to use my tools and tricks I have a reading and comprehension disability that HASN'T AND WILL NOT EVER GO AWAY ‼So Angel town had a actual Angel on staff and that's how I will ALWAYS REMEMBER ITMy mother didn't pay enough attention to know I couldn't read which as a mother myself is unbelievably horrible and she should have been ashamed and embarrassed of her lack of parenting BUT NO She just went on with her life and thanked Ms Arrenberg for helping me but she never joined us at our dinning room table once NOR after Ms Arrenberg had left for the evening NEVER helped me during my crunch year (4 grades in 1YEAR) or after with any kind of homeworkWherever Ms Arrenberg is I hope she is blessed because she was A BLESSING TO ME My own personal ANGEL for a moment in time read more

My parents relied on Angel Town nearly 30 years ago for my brother and me, and cannot speak highly enough of them now that my own children are alumni. The facility itself is not the newest looking think you'll find, but put your vanity aside in favor of a clean facility with excellent staff and very competitive prices. My children LOVED their teachers. We did, too. It's a very nurturing & enriching environment for the kids at all the age levels they accept (6 weeks old - kindergarten). The staff is extremely communicative with parents in terms of daily reports, working on development goals, and anything else you might need. We recently moved away from the area and I cried so much the day I had to end my kids' enrollment at this fine school. read more

My girls have been attending Angel Town since 2014. The staff is friendly and genuine. I feel like there is a perfect balance of leaning and play. Rooms are always kept clean and they take a sincere interest in your child's well being. read more

I love this school. I send both of my children to Angel Town Private School. My 4 year old girl and my 6 month old girl. The teachers are fantastic and do a wonderful job. They recently painted and made improvements to the look and feel of some of the rooms and it looks really good! My kids are very well taken care of and very happy there. The school takes my older child on many educational and even some just plain fun field trips. They have a Spring Dance which is fantastic, and they have many celebrations during many of the holidays throughout the year. Most of all, my kids are learning a lot and always come home happy. My four year old sometimes does not want to leave, because she is enjoying herself so much!! Now if we can just get her to eat.... :) I would highly recommend this daycare/School! read more

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! I had a DISGUSTING experience that I can only attribute to the PREJUDICED and completely DISRESPECTFUL nature in which these people choose to conduct business. less than a week ago I decided to check out child care facilities in various neighborhoods outside the Chicago area as my wife, son and I are looking to move from the city to a safer suburb. While checking out the city of Des Plaines, I decided to stop by Angel Town and get some information about their child care programs. I was buzzed into the building and spoke with the woman in charge about their programs. She gave me some information and I informed her that I would talk with my wife and call them sometime next week to schedule a tour of the facility if we were interested, then I left. Imagine my absolute shock today when I got a knock at my door and it was a Des Plaines police investigator! Angel Town had filed a report that I had just walked in there looking "suspicious" and they were sure I must be in there scoping out the place for some nefarious reason!? They sited my "tattoos" as well as my "living so far away" (which in reality is only 30 minutes from our current house to Angel Town) as the reasons for the report. They further lied and said that they had seen my car "lurking" around a week before even though it was the first time I had EVER been to that city! With an obvious prejudicial attitude like theirs toward tattooed parents, we are now choosing to send our son somewhere else. As Christians, we are trying to teach our son not to judge people based on appearance and to be respectful of everyone. A belief that the unprofessional staff at "Angel Town" obviously does not value. P.s. I tried to visit their website via Yelps' page and it redirected me to a harmful Malware page. DO NOT TRUST EVEN THEIR WEBSITE! read more

After being told that there was room for my two children, I accepted a job offer. The daycare advised that I would need to come with my children to spend time at the daycare and see if we were "a good fit." It's "their policy," they stated. We went at the appointed time and spent about an hour at the facility. My 2-year old and 1-year old behaved normally. After we left we received a phone call that the "kids had too much separation anxiety" and there wasn't room for them after all. They inform me of this 4 days before I am to start my new position. Do not even bother looking at this place; they will waste your time and tell you lies. read more
