I found Angela through a lucky circumstance - a long time ago, I worked with Steve Koo before he switched careers to become a photographer fulltime. Angela is awesome, awesome, awesome. When looking for a wedding photographer, we did a lot of searching. We had it narrowed down to her and one more company (Carasco), which I may or may not review (nothing bad, just not our style). Ultimately it came down to style and quality (was looking at a junior photographer at Carasco). Just look at Angela's website to understand the quality of her photography. Not only are the shots amazing, but they are the perfect combination of wedding-style and artistic photography, not too extreme on either end. Her pricing is also reasonable. One of our hesitation in the beginning was that Angela doesn't have tons of reviews online compared to some of the bigger names and I never saw her advertise in magazines. Definitely no concerns here. She was highly professional and very timely. It was a 6-week turnaround time to get our final images. (Others said 4-5 months!!). Oh, and you get the rights to the files of the images too! My husband was initially not involved/excited about wedding photography in general, but in the end, he really liked the wedding pictures and how easy it was to work with Angela (and Stevie, the second photographer). I truly don't have enough positive things to say about Angela and her work. I just received my full gallery of images, and am blown away. She is a true artist. Every single image is wonderful--everyone remarked on how great everyone looked, even in the candids! But most importantly, she has an amazing way of capturing the feeling and detail of the day. I think her pictures are just sweet and beautiful - they really capture the emotion behind all those little details on the big day and they capture the personality of each individual bride and groom. My husband is really getting in to photography on his own and he says, "What makes her work unique is that it doesn't look overly retouched like a lot of other photographers we looked at prior to booking with her ... I found that a lot of other wedding photographers tend to go crazy with the 'magazine' effects: lots of skin softening and over saturation of colors in photoshop. Angela has a more natural style, but it can still be very stylistic (almost 'vintagey' sometimes, which we like)."
