If you can reach out to Julie at the service desk to get an appointment, you'll be lucky. I sat on the phone and waited 25 minutes while she walked around and serviced other customers. She never came back to me. I walked into the salon after trying to make an appointment and she said, oh well, I'm sorry, go you have to take a 3 o'clock appointment. Absolutely the best pedicure I have ever had. The young man's name was yeung. I am very particular about nail salons. They must be clean, friendly, with good maintenance. Angelas Nails was all of the above. The $27 for a pedicure was more than I was used to paying previously... But it was worth it! I was visiting from out of town and decided to make an appointment for manicure and pedicure. From the second I walked in I was wary. All the nail polishes were old and dried up with a poor selection. My pedicure went fine besides the fact of the gentleman seeming annoyed with my request for some additional filing. The manicure was HORRENDOUS. Not only did the gentleman completely rip off all my cuticles in a painful manner but the painting and filing was terrible. When I was checking out I provided feedback that I was unhappy. They asked if I would like jails repainted to which I said no. The front desk attendant (who turned out to be the owner) clearly did not understand my frustration nor how to deal with in unsatisfied client. When I went to speak to the woman at the register she was quite short and insulting to insinuate that I was implying that the front desk didn't understand because he didn't understand English when that was not the case. I've been a customer of Angelas for five years keeping in mind the two years of Covid. There is one woman there I enjoy who does my pedicure she is the reason I go back I have had counting yesterday three bad experiences and the manicure yesterday was the final straw. The woman who did my nails I believe was the owner. In one hour It took her to do my nails she never spoke one word or acknowledged one request that I had. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly the opposite. I try to make numerous request for her to do something and she just nodded and did not respond. I left the salon with two bleeding fingers And an awful manicure. I spent $57 and I will never ever go back nor will I recommend like I used to. Shame on them. read more

Utensils cleaned and separate per person, plexi-glass between you and manicurist. Appointments are needed since they are only taking 50% capacity you can not typically walk in. read more

This is a great place to relax and be pampered. They do everything from manicures, pedicures and waxing in a kind and professional manner. They carry OPI, Essie and other nail brands. An appointment is pretty much necessary as they have a pretty big clientele. The good thing is that you can make future appointments two months in advance so you can get your preferred date and time needed. read more

A very nice pedicure with Don, my second time there. However, I also asked for a full face wax, and it was the worst waxing I have ever had. Her name was Angela so I assume she is the owner. When she was waxing I felt that she was missing some spots and after she was done I pointed out a spot on my chin where there were still tough hairs. At first she denied it, then finally did a little plucking. When I got home I checked and there were still hairs. I also found a giant white hair sprouting out of my right eyebrow, and she screwed up the shape of my left eyebrow badly. NEVER AGAIN! read more

This place is very clean but I have had much better pedicures elsewhere and Kevin is the only one out of three that did the dip gel manicure that lasted more than a week. The receptionist also did not seem to care about trying to get me in. Does anyone know where Kevin went? read more

This was my first appointment at this salon and I arrived at 2:20 for a 2:30 appointment. The place was busy yes, but my presence was barely acknowledged. When I was finally called at 2:45 I was told to sit at a station that was filthy- old nail clippings all over and the station had not been cleaned from the last customer. It was gross. By the time the nail person reappeared it was 2:50 and I told them I was not staying. I will never go back. read more

This was the worst nail salon experience I have ever had. Angelas came highly recommended by a friend who has lived in The Villages many years. When I arrived I was assigned to a newly hired technician, who supposedly had many years experience. I requested a dip, a nail technique popular in other areas of the country over the past couple years. The technician said he could do this, but it quickly became evident he wasn't confident with the technique. My nails didn't look great when he was done, but I decided to give him another try. On my next appointment we agreed to a gel treatment, which is better known. My nails looked good when I left but less than a week later they looked as though they hadn't been touched in two weeks. The gel started to peel and three of my nails, normally strong, broke where the gel peeled off. Perhaps quality depends on your technician, but I have never had such a bad experience., read more
