I hadn't driven for a very long time, and never had the courage to get on the highway...until I worked with Phil. My experience working with Phil could not have been a more excellent one. I saw my confidence in my driving soar quickly as we worked through all the elements of driving that I was insecure about, from lane-changing, to merges, entering/exiting highways, backing into tight spots, and more. Phil's approach is extremely gentle and informative - he has a very high level of patience and he comes with a vast amount of driving knowledge. He instructs and provides tips/tricks in a way that is both easy to understand/remember, and also backed by practical examples and experiences. I've gone to two driving schools previously (1 on Staten Island, 1 in Brooklyn) and Phil is by far the best. Not only is it an incredible value for the money, but he is also the most informative, and extremely professional (prompt arrival time, easy scheduling, respectfulness, good communication, etc.) Thank you Phil for finally getting me to become a comfortable highway driver after many years of fearing it! But the best part by far is how much kindness, support, and love he receives from the entire staff. He talks all the time about his friends and the teachers and the even the director and associate director. Every single person here is so attentive and pays such close attention to the unique needs of each child. I love the photos and updates I get from the teachers and I feel so comfortable while Im working knowing how well cared for my son is. This is hands down the best daycare in Staten Island.

Terrible hours and broken machines. All of the budget and focus goes to supporting the track &…read morefield events for high school students. If you are there for a gym membership, it's closed to you Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from December through March. Even when it's open to you, expect a lot of broken machines. No one on staff actually does repairs. Only 1 of the 3 elliptical machines is fully functional. Many of the exercise bikes don't work. Many of the treadmills are very old or don't work. Have heard that the machines were 2nd hand to begin with. Now imagine them with no maintenance. The staff doesn't reinforce proper workout clothes so expect to see many senior citizens in jeans and flannel shirts. Also, only a small fraction of the gym members actually clean off the machines when they are done. Parking is abused. At 6:50am, many spots are already taken up in the parking lot while it's relatively empty inside. Highlights of the parking lot is the random guy who uses its acoustics to play his trumpet.

There were over 75 HS track teams represented from the tri-state area and Pa. As you can imagine it was ORGANIZED CHAOS, with so many athletes competing the officials kept everything running like a well oiled machine from registering the athletes for their respective events to the actual events taking place. So many different events taking place it easy to zoom in on one particular event you may enjoy. I was amazed by my grandson's events but found myself watching the pole vaulting events. These kids flying over the bars with such grace, I know I'm watching some Olympic athletes in the making. All in all the USA won't have to worry about lack of Any Olympic hopeful in the future.

An experienced and extremely knowledgeable instructor -- with a doctorate in physical therapy, no less -- she provides a challenging and safe mix of exercises in each class. Importantly, she accommodates the varying levels and ages of participants seamlessly. Her instructions are thorough, and the constant change is refreshing. I have recently added occasional private sessions with this highly-capable trainer. I love her!
