They told the ladies that they were full and that they could sit inside. She asked if they could walk outside and look around at least and show her friend around she said that's no problem. They did that when they came back in they had mentioned it looked like somebody was getting ready to leave and wanted to know if they would be able to get that seat outside. I thought great we're going to get passed up for this. And then the hostess came over and told us that there was an opening outside. I thought oh great we didn't get passed up so they escorted us outside and tell us that it's just the gazebo seating that's available right now and then they gave the lady that came in three minutes behind us the table. Say we went there to eat dinner. We went to have a good time and we got sat on some old crappy broken down patio furniture and then we got ignored by our waitress and several other waitresses never brought us our water and finally brought us our drinks from inside which they told us they were going to bring immediately and it took about 30 minutes to get them. I should've just got up, walked inside and grabbed them off the table myself and then after being ignored, we finished our watered down shitty wine and had to walk up to the bar because we were being ignored to pay the bill and had every waitress eyeball us and freak out like we were going to walk out without paying I have never in all of my life been treated so rudely I was told good things about this place, but I will never be back. This was some of the most disrespectful rudest service I've ever seen in my life. I am a professional chef and I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 30years. This place absolutely put a foul taste in my mouth like never before basically if you're not a regular or senior citizen don't expect to get any kind of customer service. I felt that we were highly discriminated against because of our age. We are in our late 40s although the large portion of the crowd was all gray haired and in their late 60s to 80s I felt that because we were younger. We got the shitty seats and got passed up by the older people so that they could sit at the table. I was disrespected. I was treated rudely and it was completely unacceptable.

The staff assisting with setup and during the event were kind and helpful, the beverages and fruit were well received, and the venue itself worked well for our event. It allowed us enough space to spread out and have various areas for different activities. However, the food quality and overall value did not align with what had been discussed beforehand. The croissant sandwiches included on those boards were minimally filled and very underwhelming for the cost, and the desserts served were not what we discussed and agreed upon during planning. Several desserts were also largely untouched by guests (or to be frank, one bite taken and then thrown in the trash). What ultimately disappointed me the most, though, was how my feedback was handled afterward. I reached out privately in hopes of having a constructive conversation and I was initially offered a partial refund. However that offer was later withdrawn after the owner reviewed event footage and determined that "because food had been consumed/taken home," our concerns were not valid. Of course we took food home, we paid for it! In my opinion, guests eating food at a hosted event does not automatically mean the quality met expectations. I fully understand that no event is perfect, and I tried to approach the situation reasonably and directly before posting publicly. Unfortunately, the overall experience and response left me feeling dismissed rather than heard as a paying customer.

I tried their Thanksgiving "Sides-Giving" in 2024 to ease my stress level of preparing a perfect turkey & side dishes. Alpine Events provided me such an impressive spread for my guests! Their chicken apple sausage stuffing was a show stopper, their roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes with gravy had everyone swooning. And their relish tray was so thoughtfully put together, fresh and HUGE! I stashed that cranberry / raspberry spread just for myself, late at night, atop those delightful rolls. So good. Bonus: When I picked up my order, I was astounded at how lovely their dining area is. Gorgeous high ceilings with rustic exposed beams, lots of windows allowing the natural light to dance in and they've got their liquor license! Where have I been to miss this?
