I've been here twice so far and looking forward to coming back since it's a quick drive from Queens. Both times I've dined here we got the calamari. It's honestly the best I've had recently. We generally order 2 kinds (one drenched in marinara and one with sauce on the side : (either spicy marinara or a vodka sauce). I think the perfect lunch here is a big plate of calamari and their Caesar salad. Their dressing is house made and it's perfection. They also have a full menu with pasta (great options) and plenty of pizza options. My husband tried a grandma slice and he definitely liked it. I ended up getting a linguini entree the first time I dined here and it was quite delicious. Service was fine, it's definitely a very busy spot to eat during the weekend. As for the seating, they have plenty of room for large groups, those looking to have a drink at the bar, or someone coming in to grab a slice. Definitely a place with lots of options. It's definitely a spot I look forward coming back to.

I was in the mood for some good ol Italian food so I couldn't wait to try this restaurant. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I sat at the bar and Christine served me and was nice. I ordered: - red wine - Shrimp portobello - Rigatoni Bolognese - Baked cheese ravioli - Chocolate Mousse The food was really good. I really enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese the most followed by the dessert. Everything was flavorful and good. All in all I had a good experience.

Angelinas is serving up some of the best family style Italian dishes that I have had in a while. The inside is SO cute. The mural on the wall is so beautiful. I also love the table cloths. The staff was so nice. It's a really hard choice between my favorites. I was SO excited to come to try the gnocchi and it exceeded every expectation... BUT once he hit me with the francese sauce on the Verde....... It may have been game over. Food ordered: Personal margarita pizza Chicken Parmigiana Alla Vodka Chicken Verde topped with francese Gnocchi with Bolognese sauce

Absolute Gem of a restaurant! My son wanted Italian for his birthday dinner and we decided to give Angelina's a shot- and boy are we glad we did! The restaurant is nicely decorated for the holidays- very clean and nicely kept. There's a pizzeria in the front as well as full bar. The staff is so pleasant especially our busboy Carlos- such a polite and nice guy! We also had a chance to chat with the owner she was super sweet too! Food- we started with baked clams and the crispy calamari salad- this was my favorite! For entrees we ordered penne with butter, grilled chicken and fries, chicken brushetta - came with a pasta dish- I ordered the penne with pesto, and linguini with white clam sauce. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious- the portions are plentiful - we had enough to take home. We ended our meal with a cannoli that had a candle to sing happy birthday to my son! Truly cannot say enough good things about this place- even the bread basket was delicious ! While walking out we noticed they have happy hour from 2-6 during the week- can't wait to come back!!!

Happened to be in the Lynbrook area this afternoon for a movie , we wanted to grab a bite before the movie and originally planned on going to prime down the road but they were closed and I'm happy they were because I wouldn't have stumbled on this gem ! We sat in the back in a booth, super spacious and not those tight uncomfortable booths some places have. Our waitress was Ashley and she was really sweet and accommodating . We ordered : vodka slice , grandma slice, chicken parm and rigatoni Florentine. Everything was good but my absolute fave was the rigatoni Florentine and the Caesar salad . Everything was fresh , service was perfect and the prices were very reasonable .

I've been coming here for many years. The food is really good, the restaurant is large and a lil old school with the red checkered table cloths. The waitresses/waiters are very nice, no attitudes. The items in the pictures below are very good. I really like the bruschetta pizza

Highly recommend Via Cuma in Valley Stream. Our waiter, Ivan, took the time to explain how many of…read moretheir ingredients, including the flour, tomato sauce, and ricotta are imported directly from Naples, Italy, with the ricotta coming from Sicily. The entire experience made me feel like I was back in Italy. The sourdough pizza was outstanding, and unlike most pizza I get elsewhere, I didn't feel heavy or sluggish afterward. You can truly taste the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. We'll definitely be back. The Pizza Polpettina was out of this world!

I'm driving back from Maryland and I planned to stop at Via Cuma for lunch…read more I understand Via Cuma is a not by the slice pizza shop, it's more authentic with a personal size pizza. I parked across the street (make sure you feed the parking meter) and walked inside. I'm assuming it was the owner, I said I'm so hungry and was asked to grab any open table. The restaurant is cozy with multiple tables which can be adjusted to fit a large or small party. The owner comes over with an iPad, I just want a glass of wine with lunch. No bueno, I don't think they have a liquor license. I ordered a coke instead. This word is tripping me up, I know it's devilish, Diavola? I make the sign of the cross as I order this pizza. The owner explains this is his favorite pizza, I can see why. The Diavola Pizza is made with San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Hot Soppressata Salame from Calabria and topped with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese along with a drizzle of Olive Oil. This is a pizza that's more heavenly than devilish. There's some heat coming from various ingredients but it's welcomed. The sourdough is something that's interesting, I had this dough in Syosset last week. Is this a new trend? It brought the pizza to another level, there's more complexity with the imported ingredients. I also appreciated the cheese, I should have asked if it was made in-house. Via Cuma, great pizza the other day! Thanks for the Italian lesson on pronouncing Diavola

This is much more like a pizzeria. Great they offer vegan options along with traditional. I went at about 4 on a Friday. Be aware that parking can be tough, even with a lot available in the rear. When I got in, it was pretty busy. These guys are working hard on orders! The pickup rack was completely full. I haven't been here in a couple of years. I used to come for the vegan slices. A deal to good to pass was in Uber Eats, so I returned. This time I tried a non vegan option for the first time. My order was Chicken Parm, pesto garlic knots and carrot cake. The Parm arrived hot. It was a large enough portion for two big backs and three if you are a small back. Definitely enough to eat some today and some tomorrow. It was good, But I felt the sauce was a tad bit too salty for my liking. But it didn't make it not good. The good amount of cheese was on top. Nice and gooey. The pesto knots were warm and soft. They had a coding of oil, garlic and pesto. Very good. The meal also came with its own side of bread. The carrot cake was moist and good. I definitely hope this deal continues. I might come once a week.

The chicken roll was the standout for me--it was well-seasoned, flavorful, and not overly greasy. The Meat Lovers pizza was also tasty and satisfying, especially with the Uber Eats promotion they were running. The penne vodka was decent, but I felt it could have been creamier and benefited from a little more depth of flavor. The restaurant itself is fairly small, but the staff member who assisted me was knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful, especially regarding the Uber Eats ordering process. Customer service on that front was a positive part of the experience. What unfortunately took away from my visit was overhearing the owner publicly discussing another I.e 16 handles local business and speaking negatively about its financial situation. Whether intended or not, it came across as unprofessional and wasn't something I expected to hear as a customer dining in. Conversations of that nature are better suited for a private setting, especially in a community-focused business environment. Overall, the food and service were good, and I would consider returning--especially to try some of their other menu items, such as the hot honey offerings I noticed being tested. However, I hope future visits feel more focused on hospitality and less on conversations that can make customers uncomfortable.

So we are waiting and sweating and eating and sweating . We got the pizzas/ octopus, and calamari . All three were on point calamari having not been greasy and a very good sauce, octopus was perfectly excellent, and pizza all hot and crust was good and edible nice and soft as well. Then my son's clams and pasta was good , my truffle pasta had good flavor a bit salty though and the grilled chicken had zero flavor only the trifle sauce made it better. My brother in law had the aranacii balls I think they were and not bad either . My sister got the rissoto if you can call it that. The Rissoto was plain and slaty as well, with shrimp and scallops on the side . It was like you had to put it back together. It's not the worst place but not a great experience and I would not come Back here again unless for apps and pizzas only. And making sure AC works .
