Salads are large and tasty. Italian food was very good. Prices are reasonable. Service was good. Parking across the street in muni lot.

Overrated and over priced. On three separate occasions, I've had food here that was spoiled and rotten. To the point where people could smell it from across the table. I also took my mother here for her birthday once, and there was a roach in her drinking cup. I can't imagine what the kitchen looks like, but cleanliness and keeping food to temperature or fresh have been an ongoing issue for years. It's inexcusable and disgusting. Avoid at all costs. I gave them three chances over a span of six years, not to mention the fact that they charged family members $200 for catered trays of food, and they were disgusting. Once again, the two trays they ordered were spoiled and bad. How do you serve bad food for a catering order? They should be shut down at this point. Or have a visit from the board of health. I stopped going there because every slice is well-done, with anywhere from three to six dark brown spots on the cheese and a portion of the crust blackened. If that's your preference, they have great pizza. For me, I prefer cooked but not burnt. When I asked one of the counter guys about it, he got annoyed and said that the pizza wasn't burnt. When I pointed out the black spots on the cheese, he just shrugged like he didn't care. It's a shame because it used ot be my favorite pizza place. read more

This is the type of place where you need to know what to order. I feel most of the typical LI Italian-American restaurants are the same. For one, I am not too impressed with their pizza and not at all a fan of their bar pie's. On the other hand their Rigatoni Fiorentina is the BEST on the island, hands down. Also, it's a plus that their garlic bread is actually garlic bread, and not too thick. Their Caesar salad is good too as is the lasagna. Their other entree pastas are good from what we have tried, and the stuffed mushrooms and calamari with vodka sauce are great appetizer options. Their house vinagrette (for salads or as some do, breads) is also very flavorful. This is a sure thing if you want a good meal but know that one meal can serve as two easily or even three...we always have left overs for a day or two after eating here. read more

On an avg night I enjoy going here very much. The atmosphere is great, the food is good, and it's a nice lunch or dinner out. However, I had my son's christening here and there were some issues that occurred. Bc it was a christening and we would be at church before the party, I dropped everything off to Angelina's the night before and they told me no prob they would handle setting everything up. I gave them a drawn out, very specific table seating chart. Very easy to read. When we got there the next day the tables were completely wrong. Family members weren't near family members and friends weren't near friends. I had even numbered table numbers on one side of the room and odd table numbers on the other side of the room on my chart, and they seemed to ignore that and just went down the line, 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. So no one was where they were supposed to be and this actually caused a major fight with my mother in law who didn't like the placement of her table compared to my family table. The cake they supplied you could visibly tell they spelled my son's name wrong at first and scraped one of the letters off of the end from the icing. I had had cake pops and cookies delivered there from a bakery while we were at the church and it wasn't until half my guests were already gone that I realized and said to the waitress, where are my cake pops, they never put them out from the refrigerator. So I would recommend for a night out, but if you are having a party there you will prob need to be on top of every detail. read more

I would strongly recommend this restaurant for casual and inexpensive dining, but with one caveat. Don't order the penne ala vodka. The sauce was very watery and hardly any vodka sauce. My wife and daughter ordered that dish and were disappointed. I ordered the Fettuchini Al Fredo with grilled chicken and it was excellent. Not too creamy. The service and the atmosphere at this restaurant are great. The prices are very reasonable, especially the wine. The dessert was very fresh. We oredered the connoli and it tasted as if it were made fresh that day. Have not had that experience in similar restaurants. They usualy buy desserts from the outside and they are stale and not tasty at all. We will definitely go back, but my wife and daughter will order a different dish. I went here with a friend for the first time today. Even though I can tell it's an authentic Italian restaurant I thought the pizza was going to be average but was I EVER WRONG. Being a Utahn who travels to this area I can tell you that food like this is a real treat.I have never been disappointed with anything I have had.Great chianti by The glass,Carafe,half carafe,or bottle.Service is always top notch.It is not fancy and can be noisy.But the food and service is better then most fancy Italian Restaurants and less then 1/2 the price of them.I would rather not pay for atmosphere.Full bar to.I am no longer living in Utah.I live very close and come often.Never disappointed.Ask for Kristin as a server.Great waitress. read more

When we first went in we didnt know how to get a seat. No one was around to ask so we had to go up to the pizza counter and were told to wait. The wait was not to long but, confusing. When we went to sit we asked the guy if the second room was open and he stated that it was set for tommorrow for a reservation but, people were dinning in the other room. The guy was not friendly or welcoming at all. He told his girl to sit us in the back and went out front of the doors for a cigerett. The waiter we had was good. We all got good bread salads n meals. I wouldnt say I have to go to this place its the best or no way Im going back. If I was around I may go back but, their are many other pizza places on the block that are just as good just diffrent atmospheres. read more

We have eaten here many times and have enjoyed it. Good, casual sit down/take out pizzeria. We like the chicken & broccoli rabe hero and the pasta dishes are very good. We donbutler the eggplant but there are so many other things they do well it's easily overlooked. read more

I used to go to Angelina's on a regular basis; however, today I experienced EXTREMELY rude customer service by the owner. I often order pizza and pay with my debit card and this has never been an issue before. As I was waiting in line, I observed him yelling at an employee about money. When I was ready to pay the owner for my pizza, he was extremely agitated that I was going to use my debit card (when I"ve always used it and there is no sign that says there needs to be a minimum). He started to yell and state that I should start a tab there because he has to pay 2% interest on my pizza purchases and stated that I'm in there every day. For the record, I am not in there daily, but that is besides the point. He went off about why don't I ever have cash on me and how he's not making money for my purchases. He then walked away and said "fucking ridiculous" under his breath. This is atrocious behavior, especially for an owner. To make matters worse. I am 7.5 months pregnant. You don't treat a pregnant woman that way. My two co-workers came in not too long after and told him that he was rude and disrespectful. He responded "You women are too touchy". Let's just say, he has lost a customer (possibly a few) and I am never eating there again. The only reason it even deserves a star is because the waiters/waitresses are friendly. such below average Italian food. NYers demand so much from most establishments but not enough from Italian restaurants which is ironic cause so many of us are italian. The meatballs were cooked to the consistency of clay. they tasted of meat but that's about it. The sauce was just like watered down tomato paste. couldn't taste garlic or onion or cheese. Even parsley or basil might have helped. The lasagna was a sloppy mess that tasted the same as everything else.. Someone had the Penne vodka which they said tasted good but was watery.. The kids liked the pizza but it's pizza and they're not paying attention. They want cheese on bread with red stuff. It's sad to say but there are very few places anymore to find quality Italian food that hasn't had every corner cutting practice destroy it. If the owners of these types of places are in fact Italian their ancestors really couldn't cook OR they would never serve this food at home which makes the condescension and greed all the more real. read more

First off I would like to start off this review by saying I went to the restaurant Sunday afternoon for lunch, the food is delicious however the waitress service is awful. My family and I were waiting at a table for a good ten to fifteen minutes before the waitress decided to come over . The young waitress with With no personality at all approached the table asking what we would like , excuse me we would like to order and not wait fifteen minutes for you to arrive. We finally order and the food was not what we had ordered the waitress look aggrivated acting like it was our fault as if we ordered wrong kept insisting this was what we asked for . In the back carrying on a whole conversation talking about our table to the bus boy which wasent very quiet if we could hear from the front of the restaurant .Eventually the older lady that was in charge came over very sweet and offered to change the food , overall the food was excellent very tasty. My family will be back for the food, pizza , and great portions just never on the same day with the same problems . read more
