    Disney before he died

Horrible people! Great cats! They come across as high class but they are sick. Had out first one die and legit bought another from them which they should of given for free stupid me tried to make my GF happy but now we got another sick cat that cost us more then the other with the 500$ discount they gave us seriously two cats both breathing issues! They lie, they ignore! They are sales people and their house/ cattery smells like shit! Probably have their cats on top of eachother and one gets sick they all share it! We have an open case as of right now and these people aren't on any of those fancy cat titles you see on the contract! They raise unhealthy cats! I'm not the first this has happen too! Disney was 2300$!!! The new one was 3400!!! Dumbass for paying but they breeched so much of their contract it's not funny!!! They aren't genetically tested they never gave us a free cat after this one died! They will take your $$

I had the best experience with Angellcats. Carole was the nicest person. So great to deal with her. We got our kitten in March. She is the greatest! She is very healthy. Got all her test back and she is great. I am so happy with angellcats. If i ever decide to get another ragdoll i would def call Carole. Thank you again.

My cat's teeth are falling out, alongside her poor gut health. I've never had issues with adopted strays like this.

Instead I was met with a male who's sarcasm was unnecessary. His unwillingness to help and down right rudeness was very uncalled for. Quite frankly he made me feel extremely small. I expressed it was my first time calling for advice and he proceeded to use a condescending tone to remind me of how uneducated with the process I was Prior to the call I did perform some of my own research through various websites but I figured why not pick up the phone and ask an experienced "professional?". Actually he was not professional at all. He went as far as telling me that it's because of people like me that liters end up at pet stores! Like really? WOW! I wondered if his comments were racially motivated which is not uncommon in that part of CT. However the treatment was just sad I wonder if he would appreciate someone talking to his wife, mother or kids the same way he spoke to me? Just a nasty human being! Shame on you for treating other people that way. I will never allow someone like you to deter me from learning more about what I would expect to be a positive experience.

She gave us a ton of information, told us where she would be the next day with phone number of the other store so we could reach out to her with any additional questions. She actually just texted me with pictures of the parents of the goldendoodle we purchased (it's after 7pm). I did call the store one day when Allison was out and Pete answered the phone, he wanted to know how the dog was doing, said he has been with the store for decades and if we need anything to just call him. GREAT STAFF. We were talking to some breeders directly and the communication was horrible. Gary has some great employees. Even the woman who bathed and did our dog's claws after purchase clearly LOVED dogs. Very positive store experience. The Neutral: My dog, as others have mentioned was timid and easily startled when first home, but I think that's normal. He's only 10 weeks old, arrived from Missouri only a week before. That's a lot of changes for a little guy. So we have been making sure to keep the house a little quieter and trying to not make noise when he is eating. Basically like the instructions from Gary (Owner) say, no playing or excitement for 3 days. It's day 3 now and the dog (Reilly) is really much more active, running around the house, eating better, and seems to be adapting well to us and the house. The unexpected: Day 3, the little guy seems to have developed a cough. Could be from the stress of the move, he didn't seem to have this when we brought him home. I spoke to Allison about this and was told we would be reimbursed if we were unable to get back up to CT to see their Vet. (We are an hour away). Update: He seems a little better today, he has his check-in/check-up anyway so we just moved up the date at the vet to make sure he's on the right track. I am sure he will be fine. The less positive: When we originally called on the phone, we were told one general price from the Owner for the dogs were were interested in. At checkout the dog price increased more than 50%. We were able to negotiate, but we felt it could have been handled better. The only reason we feel we didn't overpay is because the service and aftercare have been wonderful. And when you get a 10-11 week old baby, believe me you will have questions. This is my third dog, but I quickly realized pups this young are infants, more vulnerable, do more dumb things, eating well and not getting sick is really important.

I called the vet and they referrerd us to VCA Shoreline emergency center. I called them and they told us to come right in. When we got there they took Gracie out of the car and immediately assessed her. Unfortunately she had Hemangiosarcoma a very aggressive cancer which shows no signs or symptoms until it's to late. There was a tumor in her abdomen which burst that afternoon. Unfortunately we had to put her to sleep. VCA Shoreline Veterinary Emergency Center made an extremely difficult situation a little easier. We were concerned that our cat, Molly, had been losing weight and eating less. When I found…read moremultiple piles of foamy vomit, we brought her in (around 6pm). We waited for hours in the waiting room, during which they took her vitals and told us they were normal. They finally took her away from us to be examined (which we didn't like), and then suggested bloodwork. Again, they took her, saying bloodwork would take a couple of hours. We went home for something to eat and called them back to check on Molly. They wanted to hold her there until they had the bloodwork results, but we told them we'd prefer to take her home while we waited. They resisted until my daughter called them to reinforce that we wanted to bring her home. When we picked her up around 11:30pm, we were only allowed to meet with a nurse, not the veterinarian. We were told that nothing on her bloodwork seemed too concerning, but there was evidence of infection and they'd give her an anti-nausea injection and fluids, and gave us antibiotics to administer at home. From the moment she crawled out of her carrier, Molly was a mess, walking unevenly, zombie-like, staring straight ahead. Her demeanor had been normal when we took her in. Called back to ask if she'd been sedated, they said no. Research indicated other people's cats had a bad reaction to the anti-nausea (Cerenia), but that it usually passed in 24-48 hours. We waited all the next day. Her condition did not improve. Got in to Oronoque Animal Hospital in Stratford at noon the next day. The veterinarian gently examined Molly in front of us, walked us through all of Shoreline's bloodwork results in detail, then performed an x-ray that showed a mass in her chest plus intestinal issues. She then arranged for us to immediately get an ultrasound at another hospital and called us before we'd even left there to explain the findings. Our cat was very, very sick with multiple internal masses. We brought her home and she died at home that night, less than 48 hours later after being discharged from Shoreline. If Shoreline had done any imaging (we asked about it, they didn't offer it to us), they would have found that she had severe issues and we could have spent the next two days making her comfortable and arranging euthanasia at home. Instead, we spent one day waiting for the Cerenia to leave her system as she declined, and the next day driving around to get a proper diagnosis. She died at home that night, before the euthanasia appointment, and it was a terrible death that my family will never forget. $1,100 worth of charges for an exam and bloodwork from Shoreline and we got sent home with antibiotics from a discharge nurse. Not even allowed discussion with the veterinarian when we picked her up. "That's not our protocol." They should be ashamed of themselves.
