I'm deeply disappointed to have to be writing this review. Nadia was someone who we have trusted with our pets for quite a while definitely more than 5 years. She was practically a family friend but after this incident she has shown her true colors and who she is as a person. Recently we had scheduled an appointment with Nadia in regards to grooming a new puppy (Theodore) we had recently got. I had texted her Monday morning and hadn't received a response in 2 days which was fine I understand she doesn't work Mondays. She gave me 3 time options for Thursday or 5 for April 7th. I confirmed with her then saying that I would like to book the 7th for 11:30. I have another dog who has been going to her since he was a puppy(Henry) and I had asked if I could bring him Thursday instead she confirmed. It is now Thursday. I told my sister to drop off Henry and the moment my sister arrives she is yelled at by Nadia saying "Were you honking at me?! Was somebody honking at me?" And my sister had said oh no it was my alarm because Henry was being difficult about coming in. Nadia goes on to say "Henry?! I thought I was grooming the puppy this ruins my whole fucking schedule."My sister calls me immediately after explaining what happened and I'm appalled because this is not the Nadia I have trusted and spoken to for so long. I was hurt and shocked. I decided to reach out to her immediately because this kind of behavior was unacceptable. "Hi Nadia.. We had talked yesterday about doing Henry today at 12:30. Theodore was supposed to be for April 7th. I find it to be unprofessional that you were rude to my sister when we had literally confirmed through text that Henry was going to be groomed today. I apologize about not sending the deposit busy day yesterday I was going to send it today but regardless you are always payed and tipped well. If it's going to be an issue that Henry is there I can pick him up." She responds by saying "Hi Bella, To clarify...I apologized to your sister in person. 2nd the text did not seem clear communication for Teddy for the 7th and deposit is due at time of making the appointment. I also fit you in last minute for Henry today. Lastly, your appointment was 12:30 and he was 15 mins late. I have not started on his bath but if you would like to pick him up it's up to you.". I chose to immediately have Henry picked up and leave it at that. Now Im unsure by how her behavior of cussing at my sister is professional and necessary when being a business owner apology or not it is inexcusable. I was unaware my sister was late till she had stated which of course isn't okay and I apologize for that but again it was not necessary to act like this toward a loyal customer. My comment about her being payed and tip well was meant that she is always appreciated and respected for her work and care given to my dogs so much that I decide to tip her for it the least I can get is respect back. The texts which I will include in this review are very clear and obvious of her confirming the appointment and if she was squeezing Henry in last minute why was I given 3 different time slots on when to bring him in. Instead of Nadia admitting her mistakes and taking accountability for constantly being unorganized with her schedule she decides to lash out on me and to take this to social media. She goes on to make a threat in her Instagram stories by stating this Is a small grooming community and she will be sharing this story around. (NEWSFLASH! You're not the only groomer in town! We've already found one!) She shares that this is why pickup/drop off communication is key because I have my family members pick the dogs up. Im a busy person I don't have time to accommodate Nadia by seeing her in person everytime I make an appointment. This also does not affect her in the slightest because she still receives her payment on time again just her trying to find any issue other than accepting blame. If this were such a big issue that it brings her so much confusion she can't even read texts clearly she could have mentioned this me to sooner but it's ironic she only mentions this now. Nadia is constantly having scheduling issues asking if we could pick up our dog later so that she could start on another dog. There's been times we've dropped Henry off at 12 and he wasn't finished until 6:30 because of her poor time management skills and still we have always been totally relaxed on these issues. We have never once complained about her prices and have been with her before she did her price change we in fact agreed that she should. Im aware Im paying her for her service however I am picking her to do these services and paying her the least I could get in return is respect just as I have given her. Im writing this review because the owner Nadia is rude and unprofessional and this incident was completely blown out of proportion because she refused to take accountability. I would recommend you find another groomer with manners. read more

Finally!!! We found a gal whom can actually cut our fur babies hair! Yaaaassss! Nadia is the sweetest, ever. She treated our Joy Bosleigh as if she was her own. She knew exactly what I wanted for her and Nadia did the best to make her look like a little princess, working through her matting and trimming to keep length... She was very engaging with me from the moment I walked in to the moment I left and picked up. I felt great leaving my baby with her. Nadia made sure to call and update me on the process as Bosleigh had a few more areas of concern. She asked me if she could go forward without assuming. Love this! When I came to pick up, Nadia was at the tail end, no pun intended, of trimming her tail, and Bosleigh sat there and wasn't trying to get away. I could see she was very happy and comfortable with Nadia. This was such a plus and relief to see. To top it off, Nadia even finished her off with cute bows and a fun neck bandana. Nadia is the best!! First of all, she squeezed me in last minute because my poor dog was a HOT MESS. Due to the quarantine, I haven't been able to get her groomed, but this girl came to my rescue. She also made sure to take my busy calendar into consideration and had her ready before my meetings kept me from being able to pick her up for a few hours. Here is a before and after of her grooming. Just picked up my puppies. This is my 3rd or 4th time going there and my boys always want to stay with them. What I love is that they spent extra time getting all the excess hair off them. Other groomers always left them with tons of hair that needs to be brushed out. Also after a week they still smell fresh and clean. Which normally is not the case usually by day 3 they smell again. Response to Nadia's response: Nadia is straight-up LYING. As a working professional who also takes clients on an appointment basis, I am a stickler for time and keeping appointments. Despite her 2 rude phone calls as I was en route to her shop, I arrived with my dogs in under 30 minutes - not 45 minutes or an hour as she contradicted herself in her response. Also, she kept my spine-injured, disabled, elderly dog tethered to a leash in the front behind the counter, where he had to frequently dodge out of her way to avoid being stepped on, because she said she had no more kennels available. And now she again contradicts herself by maintaining that he is safer on the floor in her work space, rather than in a kennel?? No. It's not safer - just be honest and tell the truth Nadia. If you don't have space, then don't agree to book the dogs. Further, my ex-boyfriend's shepherd is a Belgian Shepherd (all black) - not a German Shepherd as you incorrectly attempted to correct me. However, with your poor safety judgement (and poor memory), it is likely that you also let somebody else's German Shepherd escape out the front door as well - I'm sure Kingston wasn't your first unfortunate victim. Finally, I was not a "once a year" customer. I had been there with my Schipperkes and Belgian Shepherd at least four to five times within the span of a year. I'm not sure how or why that matters to you (Do you practice better safety standards with dogs that you see more frequently than that?? That's scary.....) but just for the record. I am responding to your untruthful response because it's important for people to know about your poor judgement in regard to the safety of dogs left in your care. read more

I am probably the most finicky person when it comes to how my dog is groomed. I have only found two places that actually do a good job and this is the second. The first is in Sacramento but I no longer live there. I've tried multiple groomers in San Pedro, and either my dog comes out trembling or with a funky hair cut. I find that not many places know how to groom Yorkies. Nadia not only did a fantastic job grooming her, but was the best when it came to handling Coco. She came out so happy it made me happy. She listened to what I wanted and was accommodating to her medical needs. Same day after leaving I had someone ask where I got her groomed, they also had yorkies and could not find a good groomer. I'm beyond happy to finally find the best groomer in town! I came to pick up my shih-tzu after 3 hours and I was surprised that my dog was so calm and he did not want to leave the grooming salon! That has never happened before! Nadia and her assistant are the best! They walk the dogs first and let them pee and poo before starting the bath and haircut. I hate to bad mouth but, I have too. I don't want you to go through this horrible experience as I did. I took my Yorkie in for a groom (shampoo and cut). I explained to Angell, how I wanted her hair cut. When I picked up my dog she looked horrible! Angell had over cut her hair and it wasn't a even cut. I expressed to her how that's NOT the cut I wanted. She gave my long hair Yorkie a puppy cut! Angell then proceeded to be unprofessional and rude. The following day I took my dog to All Pets Vet up the street for vaccinations. I showed the vet tec's and groomer's my dogs hair cut and they agreed, that it was "uneven" "unprofessional" and "a very bad hair cut". I live in Beverly Hills, Nadia was my dogs groomer at a local pet grooming store. When Nadia left to buy her new salon in the Torrance area I felt bad but I started trying other groomers. I had some bad results and in some cases my dog was not in great shape when I picked him up. So I bit the bullet and drove down there and dropped him off and did some errands in the area. She had him ready in about two hours, I think she got him through fast since I drove so far. Of course when I picked him up he looked amazing and was in great shape. So now I take him down there once a month and I run get all of my big chain store shopping done, I have to go out of the way to do that kind of shopping anyway. Can't say wow enough with how pleased I was with this amazing service. To start, I was so embarrassed to bring my mother's dog in to get groomed because of the filthy condition they were in. I apologized to Nadia because of the condition the dogs were in but she seemed to be really kind and showed extra love and care to the two and treated them very kindly. My youngest pup Eddie ( a terrier) is extremely shy and gets frightened easily but Nadia had a way of lightening him up and he seemed very happy when we picked him up which was amazing because he usually doesn't do that well with new people. I'd like to start by saying I'm an insane person. I'm 100% crazy dog mom, and yes I know he's not an actual child. When I find a place that I feel not only gets me but also will take care of my pup as I do, well I have to share. Part of me doesn't. Mostly cause it was hard to get an appointment here. So it's already feeling a little exclusive. Now that I'm done with that rant...for the actual review. I was impressed with Nadia before leaving my sweet angel. I found her taking her clients for a quick walk. We were thinking one of her first clients, I don't know many groomers care enough to do that. Her doggie salon is more puppy party style less puppy prison. Once I got all that out of the way I left and was pleasantly surprised how quickly she was done. I've had to call places to ask if my dog is ready. Not with Miss Nadia. She had Poppers dapper and ready before the time requested. Now for how my little furballs new hair cut.... we love it. This has been the only place I've ever gone to in my 8 years or having him that his nails are trimmed. He had no cuts no burns. I feel bad for Nadia since he can be a tough client. Most times when I pick him from another place he's crying or doesn't want to leave my side. He was his usual mellow self when I got him. So I can't recommend her enough! :) read more
