It was conveniently located at ground level, no elevator needed and the large moving truck could pull right up to the facility for unloading. The facility is clean, air conditioned, required a code to get in, lots of security cameras so I felt safe even after hours. They sell locks, packing materials, have quality carts for your use, a clean restroom and water fountains. Plenty of room in the parking lot to navigate your vehicle and load / unload. With very little notice I was informed that he was going home. Initially I had hoped he would agree to moving into assisted living, and thought we had made that decision to go, but upon my arrival he dug in his heals and refused to move to ALF. I had no one set up to care for him at home and I started to panic. I was provided Jonathan's phone number with Home Helpers and he worked quickly to get me someone that would stay with him that day and within just a couple hours he had a schedule started to provide my grandfather with 24-hour care. Jonathan was exceptional walking me through the process and making me feel at ease. I can't thank him enough for the support that he gave me and my grandfather, and specifically the peace of mind knowing that he was well cared for while I was across the state. The aides that came in to take care of him also helped assist him with his rehab so that he was able to make a quicker recovery than if he was on his own. They would walk with him, and exercise with him, and overall attended to his needs as he recovered. I also found the aides were pleasant and easy to talk to, and kept me informed of everything that was going on with him because I was so far away. They gave me the impression they cared for him as much as I did. Again, I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for Home Helpers and I would truly recommend them to anyone who needed a little extra attention for their loved one.

I would strongly caution anyone considering e-bike battery repair services from this shop…read more I was charged a non-refundable $50 diagnostic fee after being told that most batteries can be repaired for around $50, bringing the expected total to about $100--significantly less than buying a new battery (~$240). After the diagnostic, I was told that all cells and electronics needed replacement, bringing the total to $180 + the $50 already paid = $230. At that point, the repair cost is essentially the same as a brand-new OEM battery with a warranty and extended range. This raises two issues: The upfront expectation setting was misleading. The "most batteries can be repaired cheaply" claim did not reflect reality in my case. No flexibility on the diagnostic fee, even when the repair quote made no practical sense compared to replacement. Paying nearly full replacement cost for a 5-6 year old rebuilt battery with no meaningful warranty is not a rational option. At a minimum, the shop should consider refunding or crediting the diagnostic fee when the repair quote is economically unreasonable. Buyer beware on battery repair--run the numbers before committing.
