Came by to get a breakfast burrito and it was great! Bacon and sausage with jalapeños added. Everything made fresh and delicious! Only complaint is I don't care for sliced cheese in my burritos. I'll still get it again. Came back for the bacon avocado cheese burger and once again Angelo's DID NOT disappoint! Burger was hefty and really good! Should have checked the reviews before coming here, it would have saved me lots of wasted money and unpleasant experiences. I was looking for a quick and easy Breakfast Burrito during my lunch break and this place has a drive thru. The first time I had bad service here, I thought maybe the staff was overwhelmed and messed up my order on accident. But time after time, I ask for a breakfast burrito with no meat and I end up with a breakfast burrito full of sausage. I've politely asked the staff to confirm "no meat" when I place my order and I always get attitude. And even when asking them to double check, they get my order wrong. After the second bad experience I should have stopped coming here, but after my experience today, I've definetly learned my lesson and I will not be returning. read more

We love your chicken strips ( very tasty) and so are your burgers your staff there is also very friendly but my own complaint is your pastrami. The meat looks old and weathered. We walked in at 8:50 not knowing the dinning room was closed then the girl cleaning didn't explain well and sounded rude so she told us to ask the cashier if we can still order and luckily we were able to place our order. The cooks in the back were saying a bunch of bad words and just had bad attitudes overall. We have been coming to this location for years and have never had any issues until today. We always place big orders and with big orders we understand that mistakes may happen so we always confirm that everything is in the bags before we drive off and that has never been an issue. The young man who charged us was pleasant to speak to but the young woman who handed us the order had a repulsive attitude for no reason. When she handed us our order we asked for extra peppers and were making sure that everything was in the bags. With the nastiest face and attitude she said that everything was in the bag and that we were holding up the line. I told her that I was going to check to make sure and also asked if ranch comes with the onion rings. Instead of answering my question she asked if I ordered chicken strips. I asked why she had an attitude when she could simply answer my question. My dad then asked for a manager because there's no reason for someone in a customer service position to have such a stank face and attitude over a simple question. She continued to rudely ask us to leave and stated that the police would be called if we didn't leave. Over asking for the managers name? We're in Pomona do you really think the cops are going to come because I'm asking a question in the drive thru line??? Ridiculous. I gave her that same attitude back and told her to go ahead and call. I have all the time in the world all we're asking for was the name of the manager. She stated that we were being recorded and that she wasn't going to tell me anything and that her coworkers would not speak to us either, no problem I'll sit here until you answer my question. The young man that initially charged us then came to the window and informed us that the manager doesn't like her name to be given out but did let us know how to contact her and apologized for the situation as the young woman laughed and smiled behind him. Yes, I should have looked at my total before I left, but man, who uncharges that much? As for the food, I should know better each time I order from here. The pastrami was objectively okay - a little too stringy for me this time around. I did like the fries and I paid a little extra for their house special ranch; made for a nice combination. I've been going to Angelo's for most of my life now and it's always been a solid neighborhood spot. My go to is the charbroiled chicken salad with warm pita bread, but their cheeseburgers and red chicken plate with rice and beans are also very good. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and it's open later than most burger places in Pomona making it convenient for late nights. I usually hit the drive-thru since it's close to home, (heads up: the window's on the passenger side and the parking lot is tight). This is exactly the type of place I think of when someone says "Burger Stand." I was in Pomona for a business meeting so I looked up Burger stand on Google maps and this place popped up. I'm always looking for the one off Burger stands so I was glad I found a place I've never been to. I went through the drive through and ordered a Double Cheese Burger and a Large Pepsi ZERO (they don't even offer diet Pepsi, so I knew this place was being managed properly just from that) The Burger was just the way I expected, moist and messy. The burger Patty's were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The bun and Lettuce etc were fresh and tasty. One off places are hit and miss. Angelo's hit a home run.
