Gave us several great recommendations and while very busy, did a great job managing our table. As for our food... amazing! From the warm homemade bread, fantastic appetizers... to each one of our 6 meals and all 3 of our desserts! We all agreed this was our best meal out in years!! The only negative, and it's a nit, is the processing fee for using a credit card. So annoying to see this. Calling all veal lovers! I know veal isn't for everyone but this was the best dumb luck moment I've had in quite a while. Like everyone else this time of year we have had our fill of turkey and the fridge was a bit bare. We were considering what was on the way home and my wife suggested Angelos. I immediately thought, hmmm some veal parm takeout would be lovely. So that's what I asked her to get me. This is where it gets interesting. So, Angelos doesn't have your run of the mill veal parmigiana. They have a whole on bone veal chop parmigiana! It's practically the tomahawk steak of veal. I failed to let my phone eat first as I hadn't eaten yet for the day. Let me tell you this was the most delicious and tender veal I have ever had. Crispy brown breading with a delicious red sauce and angel hair pasta. Even the pasta is mixed with sauce as to not stick. It's more than a meal. I have enough leftover for a second serving of happiness. It's not cheap but worth every penny. read more

My husband and I came to Angelo's Italian Kitchen in Horsham for a Friday date night after being really impressed by the food at a private event we attended here in March. Sadly, our experience tonight didn't live up to our expectations. Right off the bat, the bread they served was stale, hard, and dry--not warm or fresh, which was disappointing for a restaurant that markets itself as authentic Italian. We started with the asparagus rollatini appetizer. While the flavor was great, the portion was tiny for the $14 price tag. For my entrée, I ordered the eggplant rollatini with mashed potatoes and vegetables instead of pasta. The eggplant was good, but the mashed potatoes were cold and flavorless--possibly even instant--and the vegetables (zucchini and carrots) were fresh but completely unseasoned. My husband ordered the Chicken alla Veneziana, and the portion size was incredibly underwhelming--just two small chicken breasts with little else. For what we paid, it simply wasn't worth it. The only highlight was our server, who was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food itself was forgettable, and we left disappointed. This was such an AMAZING experience. Such a great staff from managers to hosts to servers. We had Sarah as our server... she was at our table before we could even ask for something else, consistently checking on us, and helping us make decisions about the menu. Ask for her if you can! The restaurant was decorated for the holidays. The service was great. Espresso martini. Yum The food was great. Calamari was hot and tasty. The linguine and clams ...wow. The chicken with prosciutto, cheese, asparagus in a delicious sauce was amazing. So much flavor. Now desserts just completed the meal cannoli and one of the cakes specials on the menu with pistachios, ganache, light and fluffy strawberry cream. They claim to have house made pasta. I like fresh pasta so I opted for a pasta dish. The noodles were way overcooked so they were sticky and soggy. It's hard for me to believe they were made in house. The Caesar dressing tasted store bought and the anchovies were so, so, salty. So much so, they were not edible. The host could have been more welcoming. After I mentioned my party size, she simply grabbed some menus, turned, and started walking away without saying anything. We all looked at each other, wondering if we were supposed to follow her, as hosts typically say something like, "Right this way" or "Follow me." Okay...I couldn't wait long and came back here again....here's the run down. Chicken parm pieces were even larger then before! Look at these pics of this beast! Pescatore - Now, this dish is loaded with seafood as you can see however one major issue. I was explicit that I wanted spaghetti not linguine in this dish and unfortunately the dish came out with linguine. The mood of the evening was great and I did not bother requesting a side of the correct pasta as the seafood would most likely become cold waiting for the pasta to be remade. Ahh I'll get over it but assuming the chef who made the meal did not read the ticket properly...I am not going to take it out on the server but a on their game server would have at least acknowleged the mistake when bringing out the meal and apologize / offer to bring out the pasta I requested. Wine Service - 9 oz pours for a few extra dollars and their full bodied wine was the tits! I especially like how they have very well written descriptions on there available wines on the menu. Ordered the Christmas takeout dinner. Beyond terrible. Crabcakes that were a mush of all filler and no crab. Prime rib that was tinged gray and so tough it was an edible. Salty meatballs. Salad that had turned brown on the edges with dressing that had no flavor. Roasted vegetables were soaking in oil, no seasoning. Even the tiramisu lacked the coffee flavoring it should have. We had a great experience, our first time at Angelos. Personally, I thought the lasagna in particular was great. We also had calamari, pescatore, bolognese, stuffed mushrooms, clams casino. The parking lot was jammed and after finding a spot way in the back, I entered the former diner (in the front) to find that the enlarged interior was immense. Plenty of seating taken up by numerous large parties. The menu selection is vast, and the service understandably slow during peak times. Bread and water awaited us with a good dipping oil ready for the very firm, but good crusty bread. Grated cheese and dried hot peppers were brought to the table after a request. Drinks were ample and well poured. The menu selections were priced on the higher side of similar neighborhood restaurants. Food was prepared to order, so dining time was, once again, extended. We stopped in here on a recent Sunday night as 1st time diners. Loved the vibe, nice clean and homey feel. Staff was both very welcoming and very efficient throughout our meal. Menu is typical for a pizza/pasta joint but there are certainly enough choices. we started with the prosciutto and burrata, the prosciutto was the star of this appetizer. Very tender and thinly sliced. Our side Caesar salads were a nice surprise, not overly dressed with ample shaved parm on top. Special mention goes to the bread served here, rustic style Italian with a perfect crust. We would come for that alone! For entrees, we went with 2 chicken dishes over pasta: one with spinach and crab meat, one with prosciutto and asparagus. We loved both and the pasta with them was a perfect al dente. Pacing of courses was also great (bad course timing is definitely a pet peeve). Great overall experience, we will return! read more

Get rid of tani we were there on Mother's Day. $39 apiece was supposed to end at 4 PM and then at 3 PM. We ask tani why he said many people left we had to close up early. They should've compensated us someway like most places would. Even with the one star rating I have given them. I still went during happy hour cause it was a lot better than going to Mother's Day. He saw me in there a few times and when we were sitting at the bar, me and my wife, he came over and said oh this is the guy that gave us one star real loud in front of everybody Forced us to leave said never come back now. What kind of management is that? I've been the places where they at least compensate you if they're shutting down early or if you give them a bad rating. This guy can't be trusted. I really enjoyed eating here, the service was amazing, there was 8 of us that showed up for dinner and Nina (I hope I remembered her name) was absolutely wonderful, she was perfect in every way. The food was very good and the dessert as you can see from my photo was WOW amazing. I would gladly come back here if I were in the area again. I have been wanting to try this place since it opened and I have heard great reviews. I loved the ambiance and the server was top notch. I think our expectations were really high based on what we have been hearing online. We are looking forward to going back and trying other options .The antipasto rustico was off the charts amazing! 3 different meats, 3 different cheeses , roasted red peppers, roasted egg plant, roasted zucchini... awesome! I had the ossobucco, it was a special and it was good but the brown sauce could have been better, maybe more white wine would have given it more flavor.Also had the eggplant rollatini and it was also good but I have definitely had better. The red pasta sauce was also good but very bland with no spices and too much paste.I have had much better red sauce and was disappointed it wasn't better, like I said we were maybe expecting too much on our first visit. The deserts weren't homemade ( at least the ones we had) but they were just Ok and certainly nothing special . We left feeling like it was a very good meal and we can't wait to come back but it definitely didn't have a WOW factor that we were hoping for.... Went there for Mother's Day for buffet. It was supposed to end at 4 o'clock. They ended it at 3 o'clock. They just cut us right off. It was expensive $39 a person. I said something to the manager, but he could care less I like the place, but I would never go back there for Mother's Day Just for happy hour. They should never cut it off an hour ahead of time they never even informed us. The other issue was Everything was cold with the food. I would never go back again for Mother's Day.
