Great new place! Cute set up right down to the red checkered table cloths. Staff was friendly and really nice. They don't take reservations but week night at 6pm we had no trouble getting a table. The food was delicious! Three of us split a ceasar salad, burrata, eggplant totaling, and short rib white pizza. The eggplant paired with prosciutto and topped with cheese was the best bite. Second best was the pizza, tender meat and very tasty with guyere cheese and caramelized onions. Don't forget it is a BYOB, so bring your wine if you want it. Sooooooo overrated, in my opinion. This place is a newer, cleaner version of Ariana's in Montgomeryville. The food is edible but not great, it's average (with a couple exceptions). Let me say it is a reasonably priced, strip mall, Italian restaurant with booths. The strip has narrow parking spaces and limited in number. Beware of dings in your doors from fat people next to you getting in and out of their cars. How the hell are the other stores which look like they haven't opened up yet in this strip gonna survive. I know, not my problemo. Minestrone soup (soup or salad was included with entree) was a bowl full of thick tomato base with a couple of tortellini and a couple vegetables to do their duty. I've had better anywhere else. The salad was a joke. A half fist of lettuce, a cut-in-half cherry tomato, 2 rings of red onion and balsamic vinegar (my choice). It didn't matter other than to exercise my jaw before dinner. Did I mention the hard, stale croutons? The octopus carpaccio was delicate, beautiful, tender and then they overkilled with the lemon. It was more like a ceviche. The lemon on the side only might be a better idea than a soup of it in the plate. Let me start the two pasta dishes we had with saying the pasta was cooked perfectly, al dente. The cavatelli with broccoli rabe had a few crumbled pieces of sausage spread throughout. The taste was a 2, in other words not much at all. Ditto the rigatoni carbonara. Don't expect a true carbonara, Parmesan instead of Peccorino Romano? Overload of cream added to the eggs? Not a true carbonara in my opinion. The limoncello cake was very very good. Pieces of white chocolate in the icing? Wow! Kudos to the pastry chef (if it was made in house). I will return, gotta get a pizza, they looked fabulous. read more

Let me start by saying I've tried to get in here before and wasn't able to. The wait was over an hour on a weekend and that wasn't happening, so we tried early on a week night and it was pretty empty. This is a small restaurant so we can understand the wait. It's brightly lit and with light music playing that adds to the charm but not overpowering that you can't hear your conversation. We appreciate that. We were quickly seated and almost immediately greeted by our smiling waiter. The staff is very friendly, helpful with the menu, and attentive without being overbearing. We started with the mozzarella sticks. Although I did not eat them, my daughter said they were definitely homemade (which everything tasted!) and had a great flavor. My husband also said the sauce was good. The rolls were excellent! Not just cooked dough but had a light flavor that was so good and nice and hot so the butter melted easily. We also got the meatball appetizer which was very large. The flavor was good, but not amazing. Definitely homemade! I had a Caesar salad that came with my meal which was the perfect size to not fill you up. It was a standard Caesar salad, fresh, but nothing special. Still good. I had the Drunken Chicken Parmesan and this is where they missed the mark. The chicken was so thinly pounded that it tasted like breading. The breading also fell right off and I had a pile of breading on my plate at the end. The chicken also seemed to be dark meat. I suggest in the future to keep the chicken thicker so that you actually taste the chicken. The vodka sauce was good but not overly flavorful. The pasta was very good! Where they win the 4 stars instead of 3 is the pizza! We got the Pepperoni Hot Honey and it was the best new pizza I've had in a long time! That's saying a lot to a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur. The cheese was so good, the vodka sauce was a nice touch, the burrata made the pizza, and the hot honey pepperoni gave the best flavor. Not hot at all, but an amazing flavor. The dough was just right, not too thin or too thick. We will be back again for pizza and to try other dishes. read more

I was excited to try out this new spot and evidently so was everyone else! It is right near the old Broad Axe Tavern in a strip mall with a one way parking lot that adds to the fun. It's a tidy new place with both tables and booths. We arrived at peek time so we waited about 40 minutes for a table. It was busy inside with lots of takeout orders coming in. We were brought water and pizza dough bread right away. The menu is substantial for what you would assume is more of a pizza shop. We waited a bit for our server but ordered everything at once. Our appetizer didn't come out early it came out with our pizza and our cheesesteak came later. So timing is a bit strange but based on the volume of orders I think they just get it made. The eggplant rollatini was quite tasty and piping hot. The Mama Mia pizza was quite delicious and the crust was crispy but not burnt. The garlic bread cheesesteak was amazing. Plenty of cheese and well mixed. The roll was seaded and fresh. The staff was pleasant and managing a big rush with ease. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Certainly a nice option for anyone. read more

Angelina's is an excellent elevated pizza place that has a great offering of dishes, pizzas, sandwiches, and more. I tried the Drunken Chicken Parmesan and the Vodka Drunken pizza on gluten free crust. The chicken is thin and crispy and the vodka sauce is so rich. My wife has Celiac and she said it was the best gluten free pizza she's had. Portion sizes are large, even for the kids meals. Angelina's is a great addition to the neighborhood and will be a regular spot for our family dinners. read more

Always a line outside on the weekends in the spot near 73 & Butler that was Michael's Pizza that we visited for many years. Since we usually never wait in lines for restaurants so we got takeout 2 different times and both were very good. We will have to stop in during the week to avoid the lines. The pepperoni & sausage pizza was top notch and the chicken parm with salad and rolls was excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and well trained and we highly recommend. read more

Meatballs are so tender and delicious. My sons had the GF Italian hoagie and a wonderful pasta dish. Pasta is made in-house. Bread was homemade and crusty on outside and soft inside. Just perfect. Portions are very generous. We will be sure to return to this wonderful find in Ambler. read more

On a Wednesday - arrived at about 515pm and just beat the rush. Friendly welcome by hostess and led to our table; some booths but mostly tables semi close to each other. Friendly welcome by server; took non alcoholic drink order (BYOB) and served pizza dough bread with butter. Nice touch would be brushed with olive oil but otherwise a nice "chew". Promptly served appetizer - mozzarella sticks ; six lightly breaded generous sized sticks with light marinara. Pasta entrees come with soup or salad; the Caesar had shaved Parmesan and fresh croutons and the garden salad (spinach & spring mix & veggies) - both so fresh. Two entrees- six nice sized/filled ravioli with side (addl charge) of delicately prepared meatballs AND Penne Ala Vodka with spinach and mushrooms added. Nice "bite" pasta with delicious gravy/sauce. All was well seasoned. Ended with an espresso and while we did not have dessert, what was being offered at other tables looked lovely; pretty sure they were lovely tasting too. Looking at others' choices around us - pizzas, eggplant parm, chicken parm - all looked yummy. We heard many of the patrons rave about their meal with many compliments to the chef. Angelina's on Butler Ave. in Ambler is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for fresh, flavorful Italian food with generous portions at a fair price. My wife, a close friend, and I had dinner there on Thursday, May 20, 2026, and even for a weekday, the restaurant was quite busy, which says a lot. We were greeted right away by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter who patiently answered several menu questions and made us feel welcome from the start. We ordered the bruschetta, pasta with shrimp and crab in blush sauce, and a personal Margherita pizza. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The portions were generous, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the quality of food served. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept. While I wouldn't call it overly noisy, it was definitely lively and on the louder side, we did have to raise our voices some to have a conversation. That said, there are a few things that could make the dining experience even better. The atmosphere could feel warmer with softer lighting, as the overhead lights were a bit harsh. Also, some type of window treatments along the front windows would help reduce car headlights from streaming directly into the dining area, which could be distracting at times. Another improvement would be separating the takeout area from the main dining room. Their takeout business was clearly brisk, with a steady flow of people coming and going. I could especially see this becoming an issue during colder months when the front door opening frequently could send cold air directly into the dining area and affect seated guests. Overall, Angelina's offers excellent food, generous portions, friendly service, and reasonable pricing. We will absolutely be back, though next time it will most likely be for takeout. My 13 year old son has severe dairy and egg allergies, and they cooked a special meatball by altering the recipe just for him to ensure there would be no allergic reaction. Well, First time at restaurant and heard a lot of great stories so far! This will add to them! Had a large party of 10 for a birthday and was a little concerned as we had a Sunday night reservation at 6:15. Showed up on time and no wait, table was ready. Sat down and service was already fabulous as drink order was taken and water was prompt! Bread came right out with EVOO. Ordered and food started to come right out. It looked as good as it tasted. Table ordered Salads, which were nice looking. Had the Antipasto, which was really good. Everyone ordered a little different; from personal pizzas which I had an upside down with mushrooms and pepperoni which was great! Crust was really good. Others ordered Margherita and it was fabulous too. A few ordered the Chicken Parm which is the standard to see if this place knew what it was doing and it was really good! Crispy and the sauce was done well! A couple ordered the Chicken Milanese which was also very good! Nothing had an issue and honestly this restaurant changes AMBLER. Everyone knows who lives around here that restaurants open and then just hang around...this one is different! If you're tired of the "usual" places, you need to go here, as it takes it up a level. And it's affordable, which a lot in this town aren't. Definitely worth coming back, as I got to get the Chicken Parm and I bet the Stromboli is amazing with the dough they make! Stopped by at 8:30 for some slices. Surprisingly, it was crowded a good sign They were out of plain and other traditional pies just the gourmet pies. I had their Brooklyn and the buffalo chicken. I don't usually order gourmet pizza. BUT the Brooklyn is incredible. Sort of a cross between deep dish and a tomato pie but it is served hot. . The sauce is terrific, comparable or better than Pizza Bedida cold tomato pie.. The staff is beyond personable, professionally, friendly, and helpful. read more

Happy to report a great 1st dining experience at this relatively new Italian eatery. Loved the ambiance of the place, the smells alone will draw you into a cozy booth here. Staff is very welcoming and service was perfect throughout our meal. On to the food. Pretty big menu here, loaded with apps, sandwiches, pizza and dinners. Hard to pick!! For our inaugural visit though we def wanted to try the pizza. That didn't stop us from diving into a meatball app (great meatballs here) and a chopped salad loaded with meats (also excellent and plenty for two). We chose the Bee Sting pizza, with plenty of char and cup pepperoni and a hot honey drizzle. Our verdict on the pizza: it is amazing! Great crust, sauce and our selected toppings were perfect. One of the best pies we've had outside of Philly. We want to return to try other menu items but it will be difficult to not get the pizza here.... Highly recommend!! read more
