I do love the ambiance this place has for these summer months. You can actually sit in an outside bar that looks into the restaurant, and it's definitely a great spot to wait if you need that fresh air. The menu is fairly extensive, so there are definitely options to consider when ordering something here. The employees here do mention that it is about a 10-minute wait to cook the food which was fine. The Panama-Croatia game of the WC was on TV. The pizza we ordered was a chicken bacon ranch with hot honey, and there was also the sampler from the appetizers menu. Nothing wowed me about the food, but nothing was bad either. The pizza had a decent crunch to it, and the hot honey added just the right amount of sweetness to the slice. Out of what I had on the sampler, I would say the jalapeño poppers were the best. It has a zest kick while remaining juicy without getting the breading soggy. The zucchini sticks were helped by the dipping sauces, but they were otherwise alright. The mozzarella sticks did need the marinara sauce on this one to let its flavor shine. Service was good. Friendly faces, and we actually had our food carried out to us when they had our order ready. Can't ask for much else. But yeah, while there are some pizzas in CT I would chose over this if given the chance, this is still a good pizzeria that should be proud to be serving the Bethel area.
