We stopped here after going to Trader Joe's. Lots of parking on both sides. Plenty of seating inside with Italian style decor. I liked the one wall that was lined with wine crates. The inside is huge. It's surprisingly inexpensive. We got a specialty slice, Sicilian, pepperoni pinwheel and drink for under $12. The food was really good. The lasagne pizza was delicious. I liked how it didn't fall apart like sone lasagne slices do. The pepperoni pinwheel was really good. I would suggest getting a small side of sauce to dip it. I would definitely come back. read more

Pizza is GREAT! The atmosphere in here is very peaceful and the different types of pizza almost knocked me off my feet. I tried the lasagna pizza and I've got to say I don't think I've had anything greater in my 29 years of life. Service was just as great as everything else. 10/10 read more

We ordered a pizza here and asked for it a little crispy and Tuscanero's delivered. The pizza had mushroom, sausage and pepperoni and the toppings were very generous. We went and picked up the pizza and the guys working were very nice and told me they made it extra crispy just like we asked when we called. I'm not sure how pizzas are priced in Danbury but we got a large with three toppings for $22 which seemed pretty reasonable compared to what we pay in Manhattan so I would say I'm a fan. read more

Based on the reviews we decided to try the food here. The place was very clean & staff friendly. Had a great menu to choose from and the food was prepared fast and delivered to our table hot! I have chicken parmigiana & partner has veal Marcella. Both meal were great, only issue was it was a bit salty. Pasta & salad were delicious and I would recommend this place for a meal. Well well pizza people. Potato pie? Oh mymy. The Sicilian wasn't worth revising though, this has been consistently noted on here, but what do I know about this site. While I appreciate the slice size size, it needs a little more seasoning to bring it all together Also, i am not a fan of skin in the sauce. Save me the tamadas'.... Well, I've never ordered for delivery so I can't speak on that since I didn't even know it was an option until recently. We no longer live in the Danbury area so delivery is out of the question for us. I've always loved the pizza offered here and even though it is conveniently located in a busy plaza, it's always been easy to grab a table and order a slice or two of pie. They have the best specialty pizzas that aren't a rip off on your wallet and the slices are huge. We came in as a group of four yesterday and spent $22 on 4 slices of pizza, a Jamaican beef patty, and 3 fountain drinks. You really get the best for your money here too. read more

We placed an order using Slice. This was our first time ordering from them. I placed the order for a large pizza with bacon and onion was supposed to be the entire pie not only half. I placed it at 8:43 pm and by 8:51 it was on its way. Now I'm not in the pizza business but I've never had a fresh pizza made that fast. Well once we got it you could clearly tell it was not fresh. It was folded in the box, hard and the toppings were only half and falling off. They obviously took a pizza they had already made threw on some toppings and sent it out. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried it. It was disgusting and hard and made us sick! When I contacted Slice they said they'd follow up with me the following day because the restaurant was closed. I get it we ordered late but don't take an order if you can't make it in time. I had to contact them again because I didn't hear anything and they said I'd get a full refund. Well that was a lie I got $7 back because the restaurant refused to give them authorization for a full refund. So unless you want a pizza that's sat out all day and then thrown into a box, with a side of food poisoning I'd eat elsewhere!!! read more

They are generous with the toppings, but they just slid off the pizza when you try and pick it up. It was undercooked too, the dough was floppy which didn't help with the topping situation either. Vegan review, be warned. The only item that really makes this place vegan-friendly is the Tease cheese substitute. I've gotten pizza from here a few times and although it was decent, I was not thrilled. They charge something like $5 extra for soy cheese and they barely put any on the bloody pizza! I also asked them if they could make a calzone with soy cheese and the manager laughed at me. He said it could be done, but said "have you actually tried the cheese?" All in all, if you're really craving vegan pizza and you don't mind shelling out $20 for one topping (soy cheese), then check this place out. Solid pizza. Thin, but chewy crust. Tasty tomato sauce. When I'm feeling like I want something healthy but tasty, I'll come here and order a white gluten free personal pie with chicken and spinach. It ends up costing me about $14 but it's guilt-free and delicious, so worth it to me. But today, for the first time I wasn't feeling so health conscious, so I went for the pizza maker's favorite slice, the lasagna pizza. And, just, wow! The ricotta cheese was light and fluffy. The sauce, on point. And the beef genuinely tasted as if it were made for a lasagna. It was so delicious. I've never had a pizza slice like that in my life. Come here if you want some great pizza. They've got good-quality food, an excellent variety, and they're in a great location - always convenient for trips back and forth to New England - but they need to review fundamental practices is safe, hygienic food handling. For their gross failure in this just now, they get the poorest possible rating, and deservedly so. All I ask is that the person operating the register either not touch my food with his bare hands. Use gloves, or get someone else to do handle my food. Apparently, this kid who just took my order now either failed basic food handling instruction, or chose to ignore it. Ordered medium pizza with artichoke, sausage, pepperoni, mushroom. With taxes, delivery, tip, and $3.00 discount (for being new to app) it came to $24.69. Not one part of the meal was appealing. The chicken on both slices was tough and dry. The crust also tough and dry. The garlic knot while not dry had no flavor, just bland bread. I like a place that can provide a variety of pizzas by the slice with a thin, crisp crust, which Tuscanero's does pretty well. So I would imagine their freshly made pizzas are just as good. I came here for lunch with a friend, and we sampled 4 different types. The white pizza had cheese upon cheese upon cheese. The lasagna pizza was excellent. The chicken and broccoli pizza was most unique in taste; the chicken had a semisweet glaze, and the broccoli had a roasted taste. The pepperoni had the least crisp slice this time around, but the pepperoni itself was just the way I like it. Service at the counter was fast. There's plenty of comfortable booths and tables, and it's brightly lit. This is the first time I'd been to the plaza since it opened; it's a great add. read more

I am a vegetarian, but I implore you to hear me out. It is not often that I eat a lot of dairy products, but once in a blue moon I will crave a Pizza. This restaurant has replaced the empty zone where a Blockbuster Video used to be. Many years ago I worked in that very same space when people would still touch a VHS tape without becoming physically ill or having an anxiety attack about having to rewind the tape. Even though I would have Phantom pains about stacking as many cassettes into my arms as I could whenever I reentered that place, to go in there for pizza and something worth every cent was a step forward in my former Blockbuster employee therapy. I ordered a large cheese pizza with all the vegetables of the vegetable kingdom on it. Not only was I greeted with kindness, but when I mentioned I read the other review, which is fantastic by the way, I had to check it out. The Pizza scene has been rough, and you would expect it to get rougher considering the current economy. Fear not, Connecticans! There is still hope. That delicious example of Italian ingenuity rocked the very structures of which I stand on! Each slice convinced me eating here everyday would be delightful! When in the mood for a slice, or a whole pie for the family, or like me, for yourself, head down to Mill Plain rd and grab yourself a pizza and a bottle of wine without feeling your wallet turn as light as a feather.
