On a road trip, my car suggested stopping here to eat. I made a pit stop for a beer and lunch. Rosy tomorrow's was a neat bar and restaurant. There was all manner of artifacts and brick a Brack hanging around the walls and ceiling, and a neat train on a platform around the bar, that activated when you throw in a $.25 donation to "charity." All this in an expansive dining room that spanned two floors, with a large center bar. The bartender was friendly and welcoming, and he made frequent stops to check in during the time there. I went with a Sea Hag IPA on draft and one of the specials "jersey dogs" which was two hot dogs on toasted buns topped with sliced potatoes, peppers and garlic and a side of fries. It saddens me to have to give such a low rating for a place that has a great atmosphere and friendly service. We were there for lunch on 2026 02 25. I ordered the tai chicken salad and was disappointed in the chicken. It tasted old and reheated. It was dry and not palatable. Additionally, the peanut sauce for the chicken and the dressing for the salad tasted watered down. The server was a wonderful young lady who was doing her best, but she was taking on too many tables by herself, and it was hard to get her attention. The manager was very friendly, but we felt a bit shortchanged because the place seemed to be cutting corners. I hope this place steps up their game, but for now, I'd have to advise people to pass on it. read more

Five stars all the way. This place is family owned and operated for more than 40 years, and you can feel the pride the moment you walk in. The walls are covered with relics from the old Great Danbury Fair, and the 100-year-old bar gives the whole place a warm, lived-in charm that feels real, not staged. We tried the SouthWest Eggrolls with the guacamole ranch dipping sauce and they were seriously good. The Mushroom Panini was packed with portobello mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, red pepper pesto, tomatoes, and greens on rustic crust bread. Add Rosy's fries and you're set. The Pastrami on a Pretzel Roll was another winner with sautéed onions, Swiss, and whole grain mustard. Also came with Rosy's fries, which we happily demolished. Rebeca, our server, was awesome. My husband and I had a great experience at Rosy Tomorrows yesterday for dinner! We sat on the outside patio and loved it. Inside is super unique as well. We tried several martinis (they have so many fun ones, including dessert martinis!). Their nachos were super tasty for our appetizer. My husband got their wings, which were delicious, but if I had to nit pick, they were in the fryer just a tad too long. I got the seasonal scallop salad and wow they did an awesome job on the scallops!! Sometimes you never know at a place that doesn't specialize in seafood. Definitely a fun time here on St. Patrick's Day! My family and I came here to celebrate my uncle's 70th. We had 7 people in our party and they were able to accommodate us in a booth upstairs. The interior decorations are so funky! Gives it a more dive-y type experience. Our waitress was super nice, wish I remembered her name. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip and nachos. The menu is very extensive but I decided to order the lobster Omlette for my entree. Each entree comes with a little treat; mine came with a chocolate scone. I ended my meal with an Irish coffee. My family did order a slice of key lime pie to share, and my uncle got the baked apple dessert. It was a very nice time! read more

Another delicious brunch here! Started off with a short rib poutine which was amazing! Crispy french fries nice short rib pieces, a wonderful gravy with a fried egg on top!. Loved it! For entrées we got the garbage burger and the French dip sandwich with mushrooms and cheese. The sandwich was excellent, with dripping cheeses and tasty beef. Have been to Rosy Tomorrows 3 times now, including twice in our recent CT excursions. Waitresses are wonderful and friendly, chicken pot pie soup is delicious, crab legs (in their summer Seafood Fest) are the best we've ever had at a restaurant. Food timing is efficient, portions are plentiful, space between tables is perfect. And that's just the dining experience, besides the really cool décor and overall restaurant feel. We have enjoyed Rosy's for many years.. but for a while we stopped going because the quality of cooking varied a lot. I love their wings and the burger are the best and their fried calamari is so good. But the French onion soup is really inferior.. very brothy without many onions, croutons or French bread.. and the cheese crust is hardly there. a definite no.. they need to learn how to make it right. one of my favorite parts is Roger at the piano some evenings. read more

Amazing food!! So hard to find a seafood place especially those winter, but damn this place delivers!! Ordered a chowder for starter for my sister and I. I had the lobster sliders for meal and my sister got a crab cake! The place was very cozy and our server was very helpful. They were very busy that time and waited for few minutes, waited almost 15 minutes. Stood by the door and did this fortune teller thing by the door. Made us busy for a while. Go every Sunday for past few months to eat wings / Panini sandwiches / hamburgers / French onion soup / braised beef and a few other things off their menu... food has always been five out of five stars ... service has always been five out of five stars with HOPE taking care of us often... but everybody has been outstanding. And we get a special treat on Sunday the piano man absolutely amazing. We met one of the owners last Sunday. SEAN, a wonderful man as well. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get service is extremely top-notch. Food is great just a wonderful place to be. On top of it I take my wife to the Danberry mall in the morning to do a little bit of shopping. We go there for a late lunch. Just a wonderful day. Definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant. We were made to feel unwelcome. Waited 45m+ for food to arrive. Never offered water or anything but shifting and disingenuous explanations for the delay. Tables all around us, who arrived well after us, were served. Why? The owner, learning of our dismay only as we finally got up to leave, tried to help. But frankly our night was ruined. This was a fun restaurant to visit when we stopped here for dinner back in August 2022. I looked for prior reviews for a great restaurant near the hotel we were staying at the start of a family trip and this place did not disappoint. The decor was fun, interesting and engaging for our 2 and 6 year olds. My husband and I got a scorpion bowl to split because well, after a long first vacation day with our children...we needed one. Wish it was a bit heavier on the alcohol to be honest, we should have each got our own! We all snacked on the spinach artichoke dip appetizer. It came piping hot with great veggies and tasty chips/bread. The kids had grilled cheese and hot dogs, both with fries. Our two year old really loved those hot dogs. I had the Blues Steak Stackers sandwich and my husband had the Brunch Burger. Both were great and cooked perfectly, although my husband felt that his could have been a bit more flavorful. So I go ask the girl that sits at the table if we can sit upstairs at that one section and she said fine. And I think her and gave her a tip. Then The waiter comes over and gets all pissed off because we're sitting at a section that was cleaned for a party tomorrow so the sections closed and you can't go there because they're gonna have a party tomorrow. Then he would have to clean it again. Oh my God you'd have to do your job The place was pretty packed and there's no reason to close off a section that you're not using today. You're using tomorrow. what you can't clean it when we leave. We were spending the evening in Danbury and the front desk at our hotel highly recommended this place. It did not disappoint. Large main course salads served in a pleasant, bar atmosphere with live music. The outdoor seating also looked very nice, although maybe a little dark. Our service team was terrific. One cautionary note about the parking. If you can't find a spot in the lot, you can park across the road, but be careful since there are a lot of broken up areas there. My daughter had a birthday party in Danbury, instead of driving all the way back to New Milford we decided to go out to dinner. Close to the birthday party was Rosy Tomorrow's. I haven't been here in a few years, and it seems nothing has changed. Quirky decor, great staff, and amazing food. I love the feel and the atmosphere. It reminds me of the ground round when I was younger. No wait time, staff was friendly and attentive. We got the southwest eggrolls as appetizers. Lots of taste and a good dipping sauce. My fiancé and I always share, so we always get two things that are a little different. We went with the garbage burger, and the pastrami on a pretzel roll. I don't think I could've made two better choices at night. The burger was cooked as asked and loaded with delicious toppings. French fries were crisp and delicious. The star of the show was the pastrami. I enjoy pastrami, but I'm not in love with it. Warm on a pretzel bun completely change my mind on that. Juicy, warm, and delicious. Wasn't salty like some other pastrami's. I'm a huge fan now, I can't wait to get back there. Five stars! read more

Tried this place for the first time last night. I absolutely love their extensive menu because it's a place you could find something for all. I couldn't even decide what to choose because everything sounded so good. We ended up getting the nachos as a starter. The nachos were great! I opted to get the short ribs which were so good, my husband got the French dip which he enjoyed as well. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, nicely decorated and a fun vibe. They did have live music on Saturday night, the singer was great. Only thing that was kind of lacking was the service. What a family friendly fun restaurant in Danbury! Stopped in for a quick lunch and everyone enjoyed their meals. The wait staff and hostess were all very friendly and quick with service. Our kids were very entertained with the decor- the train going around the track along the ceiling and the lion that roared. Much to see for kids plus their kids menu is super cute, best I have seen to date and we go out to eat ALOT and all over! The menu already had tic tac toe and hangman on it. The large booths were roomy to sit in and needless to say our boys had a good time! I had the lobster bisque which was good- nice flavor and creamy. It was large and filling. In all honesty- have I had better? sure but I would certainly get it again there. Kids had shakes and typical fare- chicken tenders and grilled cheese which they liked and gobbled up. My husband had their chicken sandwich which he really liked and I had a salad special after my soup. They grilled the shrimp nicely without overdoing them- not easy to do!
