    Large Pepperoni pizza

Now this is what I'm talking about people! A few coworkers and I were in for a long day, so I decided to get us all some pizza for lunch. I went to Yelp and found Angelo's, which wasn't far from where we were, so I placed an order for pick up. We got a large cheese, a large pepperoni, a medium half cheese/half pep, and two salads. Let me tell ya, that was plenty! When I arrived this place was pretty poppin for a Thursday at 1pm. Clearly they draw in the lunch crowd. It only took one bite into my slice of pizza and I understood why. The crust was pillowy and chewy, the sauce was sweet but just the right amount, and the amount of cheese was perfect. We got a side of ranch and it just added even more awesomeness to the bite. The salads were pretty large, but it would have been nice if they cut the veggies up a little more. There were full sized baby carrots thrown in there which were impossible to cut with the plastic utensils we got. I would hands down order from here if I lived in Cleveland. They would likely be a rotating option for me. Hell, I wish I could have some right now.

We just love this pizza! It's always so fresh and baked perfectly! Service is awesome as well which only makes our visit that much better! We do not live close any longer, but decided to make the drive and so happy that we did! Highly recommend!!

Amazing is the main word that would best describe this place. We went in on Saturday night about 8ish to grab food. It was about a 15 min wait but they do have a wait list you can join. The staff were nice and accommodating. The inside was busy and the food was GREAT. The restaurant at 8pm was busy and it was a little loud inside but great if you have children. We got a meat lovers pizza (the crust was sooo good), side salad (which was huge) and some French fries. Definitely go try this place you will not regret it.

Tried out this popular pizza spot in Cleveland for the first time and I was seriously impressed. The service was super quick and friendly, and the pizza was awesome. We started with the cheesy garlic bread, loaded with cheese and served with a really good marinara dip. Total win. Don't skip the wings either, they were legit. You can get your pizza either deep dish or original style, we tried both, and honestly, it's hard to say which one was better. They were both really good. There are spots inside the restaurant as well as in the patio area. The place filled up fast during the dinner rush, even though it was a weekday, and now I get why it's such a popular spot. Pro tip: check out their daily deals on the website for some nice discounts. Will be back soon!

Found our way into Angelo's for a weekday and quickly learned why it's a local institution. The place was packed and lively and really just felt like everyone enjoyed being there. We sat at the bar and the service was great. There's a decent selection of beers. We ordered a small pizza which was perfect for 2 with no leftovers. This was definitely not a sleepy little pizza place and the whole experience was enjoyable. I would definitely go back and it's a great place to take friends and family when they visit.

The honey mustard wings were fire. The baked potato pizza was very good but extremely heavy-- a classic favorite. Angelos has always been consistent, no complaints.

The best pizza, in a welcoming room, with a festive ambiance. Excellent service also. I know the pizza savants out there offer differing opinions, in our view, there is no argument. Clearly, to us, this is the best pizza in the Cleveland are, Ohio and beyond. We moved to Scottsdale Arizona 15 years ago but still crave this pie. Never miss a chance to visit when in the area. Added bonus that we visited on Wednesday wine night and got 50% off our bottle (didn't know until we saw the check) Thanks again from Arizona!

Angelos is hands down our favorite pizza. We generally don't have pizza anywhere else. This is the first time we have dined in and there wasn't a line. It was still busy for lunch. We were seated immediately and our server was at the table within a minute. I think the crust is the best. My son swears it is the sauce. Whatever it is. They have figured it out. Angelo's is a pizza parlor with a nice bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. Take out is just a good as dining in. It is worth the trip.

We ordered a lot of pizzas for an event and were delivered upside down. When we messaged them. They stated that we ordered delivery and it was our fault. Do not recommend.

Although the wait was long, it was totally worth it! Wish our server gave us a little more attention, but I know she was busy. I didn't end up getting my pop or beer until half way through dinner and she walked around multiple times checking the tables around us. For 2 people, we ordered the large deep dish, deluxe pizza, and it was everything that I have wanted. Although we are not in Chicago, Angelo's offers an amazing deep dish with a buttery crust loaded with lots of sauce and toppings. We also ordered the 5 meatballs with bread since we were starving. Angelo's still stands as one of my most favorite pizza spots in Cleveland!

    Pepperoni pizza see those edges!!!

October pizza night was at Angelo's. We did not have reservations but when we got there we were told we would have to wait despite there being open tables. We headed to a local bar and waited until we were called. Our waitress was nice and gave us good service. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and a meatball sub. $18. Super good price point. Least expensive of any of the places we have been thus far for monthly pizza night. It was also the most hearty and largest of the pizzas. We were able to take half the pizza home. Now the pizza: not a super thin crust (I like it this way) tasty crust and crunchy undercarriage; plenty of sauce and cheese and totally enough pepperoni which were curled at the edges (my favorite!). Surprisingly, the sub stole the show! I know this is a pizza review but that meatball sub was delicious! We were so full there was no dessert to be had. I think they may use a cheese other than mozzarella which I really liked but people who only like mozzarella should be aware.

We shared a Soft Pretzel served with house-made brown butter cream cheese which was absolutely delicious. For mains, I got the Cheese Steak Dip and my husband got the Surf & Turf. My group were supposed to go to Habesha Ethiopian restaurant for dinner and book club but they were closed so we found ourselves at PJ's Irish Pub. AMBIANCE -- Dimmer light but not too dark inside. Typical, traditional bar look and feel. Lots of booth tables plus a center bar area with chairs around it. DRINKS -- I don't drink alcohol so I can't comment on their drink offerings but considering that this is an Irish Pub, they must have lots of options to choose from such as beer. FOOD -- Their menu is large with dishes such as pot pie, tacos, meatloaf, etc. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I just ordered 2 beef tacos that came with tomatoes but I forgot to ask for it to come without cheese. So, I had to remove the shredded cheese from it. There was a lot of cheese on the tacos too. The tacos were fine - simple enough and the beef tasted just right. This pub is probably more known for their drinks but I may be wrong. Everyone on my table seemed to enjoy their dinner. I noticed someone ordered meatloaf, another for a chicken pot pie, another had a big plate of broccoli with something else (the broccoli looked tasty), and so on. SERVICE (5/5) -- our group was treated well. We were greeted upon walking in plus our server took our orders at a reasonable time. PARKING -- Not the best like most places in the area because it is street parking only but I was very lucky to find a street parking spot right in the front of the pub. You can probably park at the shopping district parking lot across the street where a gas station is located. Overall, although I wasn't expecting to even visit PJ McIntyre's Irish Pub on that cold January evening, it was a nice enough experience (mostly FUN because of the book club group rather than the food). The beef tacos that I ordered were fine and a fair price (around $6.50 total). I most likely won't be back since I don't drink alcohol and I hardly visit pubs or bars for dinner. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 11/250 total reviews in 2026 - 852 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 February 2026
