Pepperoni pizza
Michelle O.

Came here to try for pizza week 2025. They have a NY style pizza either cheese or pepperoni for $12. We drove there to try from the southeast side. Little place in a strip mall. Easy to find. Across from Heinens on Bagley. Little place mostly take out but they have 2 little seats and tables inside that we ate at. We came too far to do take out. Ordered the pepperoni and a Lg salad to split. Menu looks good they have specials and other Italian options and entrees besides pizza. The cashier was telling us they make all the menu items in house. The pizza is NY thin. And that's what I like. So that's what we got. The salad came out first and we chose their house dressing which was a white balsamic. It's sweet but good. Salad was OK. The pizza came out in about 20 mins. Big enough for 2 of us. It was thin and crispy. Could have been a bit more pepperonis on it and some more cheese but it was good. Undercarriage was crispy and sauce was good too. I'd give it on the Portnoy scale a 7.6. Would I get it again. Ya if I was in the area. Staff super nice. Lots of parking. Overall good experience.

18" Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza
Becca H.

My brother raved about this pizza so I was excited to try it while I was in town. We got two 18" hot honey pepperoni pizzas (with the hot honey on the side) and a 14" white pizza with spinach added. Price was a little high, about $80 for those 3 pizzas, but the quality was totally worth it. The crust was perfect and definitely NY style. I loved the hot honey pepperoni. Their sauce was really good too. Not too sweet or too acidic. Also love the convenience of ordering ahead online.

Cleveland Pizza Week is a great opportunity to try pizza shops that I have not been to before; I am so happy that I tried Mimi's Pizza. Even though Mimi's is on the other side of town, I figured I would grab a pie after work; it helped that the Yelp reviews for Mimi's were so good. Mimi's is a small shop in a little plaza on Bagley Road, when I got there the place was busy. Mimi's is a very compact spot, most of the shop is the kitchen with a small service counter and a display of slices and garlic knots, all of which looked great. There are 2 small tables jammed into the window, both occupied by families enjoying their pizzas. I grabbed my cheese pizza and added some grated cheese and garlic powder to customize to my taste. The pizza smelled so good that I had to have a couple of slices on the ride home; I also had the rest of the pizza over the next couple of days and it was delicious. Mimi's makes a New York style pizza and they do a great version; the crust is thin with just enough rise to add some chew, the sauce is nicely balanced and the cheese is generous and just the right amount of tangy. Overall the ingredients come to together to make a pizza even better than the individual elements. My only criticism was that the pizza was a bit undercooked for my taste, but that is the style; when reheated at home the pizza was near perfect. I would highly recommend Mimi's Pizza, it is the best example of New York style pizza I have found in the Cleveland area. They know what they want to do and do it very well. Check them out.

Pizzas were tasty. I really enjoyed the pepperoni. They could have had more color and baked longer, but they reheated nicely too. I had wanted the white pizza either spinach they had listed for pizza week, but gave me a margarita instead, which I don't care for since I hate tomatoes. Overall I'll get pizza again here to try for a second chance.

Pizza by the slice

This place offers pizza by the slice. I paid $8.50 for 2 big slices - one cheese, one with sausage & pepperoni. Both were tasty and had a crisp thin crust. I also got the banana pudding, which was *chef's kiss* Creamy, scrumptious, and had real slices of banana. Service was also friendly. It is primarily a carryout place, but they do have 2 small tables for people who want to eat in the restaurant

Stopped by after seeing on social media and 100000% worth the trip! True New York style pizza. Crispy bottom, great sauce and cheese. Got a few slices and the garlic knots with pepperoni and everything was so good! We will be back for sure.

BIG slices of pizza

Pizza by the slice for my hubby and pizza fries for me. Waffle fries with sauce and toppings. They were SOOO good. I have a wheat allergy so it was a fantastic option. Everyone in here is super friendly! The owner will chat with you for awhile if they aren't slammed. He is STRAIGHT outta New York, so this pizza isn't messing around. It's a takeout place so the inside is small but there are a couple of tables if you decide to eat in and enjoy this Big Apple experience in Cleveland

I have stopped a few times for a slice. The New York style pizza is very good. The crust has a great crunch to it.

We started with the Frickles, crispy pickle chips served with honey mustard and sriracha 1000 island dressing. The sriracha 1000 island is so good that we always ask for an extra side to dip our fries and chips in. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. After all these years, Fat Head's continues to be one of our family's favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

The vibe is lively and fun! We ordered several tasters at the table $1.50 each. Just so we could figure out what we may want to take home Food..... wow ... I saw 3 orders of cheesesteak walk by so that's what I got. Cohort got wings. Wings were smoked fall off the bone deliciousness. Plus they are the full wing! My sandwich.... Almost Philly worthy ( I've had authentic Phillies) However I loved it!! Couldn't eat it all. We have food to take home yay!! I'm sad Columbus doesn't have a location. I know we have BrewDog but I feel this is a step Up. Guess we'll be make more Cleveland trips Wink wink

We've never had a bad experience, so I finally decided it was time to leave a review. One of my family's favorite appetizers is the fried green beans, we order them almost every visit. My youngest son always gets the poutine topped with Wisconsin white cheese curds, house smoked brisket, savory brown gravy, and scallions. It's one of his absolute favorites. This past visit I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to try the special lasagna soup and it was excellent. It genuinely tasted just like lasagna in soup form and was perfect comfort food. My oldest son ordered the Smokehouse Pulled Pork sandwich with hickory smoked pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, pickles, and served on a challah bun with fries and house slaw. My husband went with the chef's special smash burger, which he really enjoyed as well. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. My review of my wine experience at Your Wine Cellar is in a separate review, but while trying and making our wine, we ordered from The Brew Kettle's menu of pretty basic, but reasonably priced bar food. Our server was the incredible Meg, who was also the leader of our wine making event with Your Wine Spot. In an attempt to be somewhat healthy, I got the grilled chicken buffalo wrap with light sauce ($14) and fries. Yeah, I caved with fries. They were pretty good but not worth the extra hour of working out Ill have to do tonight! Pretty crispy though but I wish they were seasoned. I also wish they still had sweet potato fries on the menu!! Please bring these back! *crying emoji* My wrap was pretty good, at least at the price point. I wish it was filled with more chicken. The chicken was great! I wouldn't mind having food from here again, although I wouldn't recommend making a special trip just to eat here. My friend's brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing though! We all tried a bite of it and moaned in pleasure!! Haha
