Paper thin pizza that is super floppy and can't hold the sauce and toppings at all. Very skimpy on cheese and sauce too. They are definitely cutting corners to save on cost but how can a pizza be tearing apart because the crust is so thin. I didn't even request thin crust. Can't imagine what a "thin crust" would look like for them??! Probably just baked sauce and cheese. At $50 for 2 pizzas, take your business elsewhere. read more

Angelo's Pizza is located in a small strip mall next to a WaWa (so typical of South Jersey). There is plenty of parking and the seating area inside is quite nice. You can definitely fit larger groups of people here and I imagine dining in would be quite nice based on the lovely seating area and decor. I decided to go with a plain slice and a square slice. The square was the better of the two and featured a thin, crispy base with good cheese and an excellent, spicy, garlicky tomato sauce. I wish there were more on the slice! The plain slice is decent, but was a bit soft in some areas and didn't have as great a structure as the square slice. There was lots of extra flour on the bottom and it could have benefitted from more sauce. The fluffy, bready crust was good though! read more

Just ordered take out. The food was done quickly and the staff were nice. The pizza on display doesn't look great but I got 2 cheesesteaks and they're really tasty. Regular customer of Angelo's for take out. I ordered take out Sunday night around 08:00 pm. The phone was answered promptly and my order placed without any problems; large pie half mushroom half pepperoni; and a Angelo's special wrap. The pizza was excellent; the wrap was nothing special; absolutely terrible! I ordered a flour wrap and got wheat; it was thrown in a plastic to go container With an unwrapped pickle and small bag of chips for $10.00! The wrap was a soggy mess, the to go container should have been cardboard as the plastic traps steam. Can you image what your pizza would be like if it was taken home in a plastic box. I might as well ate a wet sponge instead of my wrap and for $10.00 throw some fries in instead of the tiny bag of chips. read more

My family has been ordering from here for years. My family would always order their pizza, which I always thought tasted gross, but we decided to order other items. I ordered a chicken cesar wrap and it tasted off. I couldn't tell if it was the actual cesar or the chicken, but I ate about half before just throwing it away. A fair request. they were rude and offered 15% off next order but I was left with food no one wanted because it was wrong. I told them we had been loyal customers for over 25 years. Always good when I go in and quick service! Set down one time, but more than likely I will get takeout. A lot of employees at this establishment so it doesn't take long to get tended to. We used to love Angelo's but after the past 2 experiences with them, we will not be ordering from them anymore. We placed an order a week ago and after an hour and a half of waiting and placing 3 phone calls to them, they finally told us that they took down the wrong address - at least the food actually came this time. We placed an order tonight and were told it would be 30-45 minutes. After an hour of waiting we called back and they said that the driver had come and tried to call us and when he couldn't reach us he came back with the food. They took down the wrong phone number for our order so we received no call from the driver or follow up call from the restaurant. We were offered only a weak apology and we canceled our order. We enjoy their food, but I refuse to order delivery from a place and receive a lack of communication and our food! read more

Just moved to town a few months ago and checking out the pizzerias in town. Ordered a chicken francaise meal, as I do often at many restaurant. It's my go to dish because I can't eat red sauce anymore unfortunately even tho I love it. It came sepera from the pasta and the pasta is covered in red sauce. I called to let them know and was just told 'we know a lot of people complain, that's just how we do it. I'm a customer of many years. Needless to say, tonight's Angelo's takeout experience is ending that relationship. Rude staff that makes a lot of mistakes (and doesn't apologize). When mistakes are made, they provide awful customer service that essentially makes the situation worse. I dropped a lot of money on dinner and one of my dishes was made completely wrong -- apparently the manager was "too busy" to speak with me when I called. We enjoyed their food for many years and they were dependable, but now we'll be looking for a new Italian place. read more

I had an awful experience at Union Mill Angelo's. The On line menu prompted me to add toppings to a works pizza. The works allready has 5 toppings. Not understanding I added my own works. This pie was a 10 inch pie. Did not notice when ordering but hey my bad. They delivered a 10 inch pie with 10 toppings to my house for 33$ and I almost fell over. You would think they would call. I took pizza back that night and asked if it was worth 33$. They said no. We'll credit you. Never got credit. Go to Scottos! There you will get money's worth! I did the same night! TERRIBLE SERVICE! EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE! warning: Do not order from here unless you want to wait 2 hours for food delivery! Placed an order and was given a window of delivery time. When the delivery window had past by a half hour, I called three different times over a 1 hour window to see where our food was. I was told twice that it was in the delivery vehicle. On the third call and after TWO HOURS since the order was placed, I was told it was left on a porch prior to my FIRST phone call!! Why wouldn't you say that on the first call or even the second call?!?! I was told it was delivered to the wrong address! I then asked for a new order to be made so that it was hot and a refund and instead "the manager" HUNG UP ON ME! AND THIS WAS A SO CALLED MANAGER!! Absolutely incredible honestly some of the best pizza I may have ever had. Started off with fries for an appetizer which were super crispy and fresh either hey regularly change out the oil or we lucked out but you can tell the difference when you have well oiled fries. As far as the pizza I can't remember the name of which I ordered but it had 3 cheeses on it and oh man it was good nice crispy crust really greasy drippy cheese overall awesome. Anglelo's should be a staple place to grab a quick lunch on days when you just can't take another Wawa Shortie. But despite the fact that they are never that crowded when we go (and my lunch hour is right at 12), we can never seem to get out of there without requesting to-go boxes for the food we didn't have time to finish. Today I asked which white pizzas they already had made so I could just order a slice and have time to digest before jumping back into my car. Alas, the slice of veggie pie was no quicker than the wrap I ordered a couple of weeks ago, and the pasta fagioli I had to hold me over while I waited had good flavor, but was way too salty and way too hot. By the time it was less-than-scalding, my pizza came out and then it was time to go. Once again, I left Angelo's with my lunch in a box. The cup of mouth-blistering sea water ended up costing more than my slice, and with my iced tea, my bill totalled at almost $10, plus tip. Angelo's is your typical Italian take out assortment of pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, etc. Their pizza is pretty good, pastas are nothing spectacular, and I generally default to the chicken wrap, which fills you up. The fries are pretty good, and they have some good mozarella sticks. Food arrives in a timely fashion, not much to say. About half the time you ask for something customized, like sauce on the side or something, they forget. Such is average delivery food. If you're looking for a cheese steak, however, Slack's Might be the better option. read more

I would rate Angelo's an average place with average food. I moved to this city and been here couple of time with my colleagues for lunch. Today I had a sandwich, I dint like it at all. Service is not that great, again average. When the server asked I replied politely that I didnt like the sandwich. Presentation and taste was ok, but it wasnt packed nicely. Although she said sorry, which is fine, i dont expect sorry, I expect actions. Most of the family owned restaurents provide great customer service and if you dont like the food they do take some action. Although i was not looking for anything free, but still they would have tried something. A wonderful local restaurant with great dishes, it is not just for pizza, although their pizza is wonderful. Angelo's is our go to place when we are tired and don't feel like cooking. Not a good Pick up for two days in a row. My husband went to pick up both times and they forgot some thing or just told him to go outside and wait and did not even say they were sorry that they forgot or that he had to wait for a long time. Coming from NY with some of the best pizzerias, its going to be very hard to compare to them, even on their worst days. However, this place is decent. The pasta dishes are good. The pizza is decent as well, but the white slice was a major failure. First off, isn't a white slice usually made with ricotta and mozzarella cheese? My family frequents this establishment for years. We have always spent anywhere from fifty to one hundred dollars when we order Angelo's. Unfortunately, due to some poor customer service the other night we will not be revisiting Angelo's. My mother order some wings, a large pepperoni pizza, and a Greek salad. Everything was correct except the pepperoni pizza. We called and spoke to an older lady that clearly cared less about rectifying the situation. While I tried to explain to her how far we came from to get the food she proceeded to say I was talking over her and that they always check their tickets. Well, the east fix would've been it was an oversight we can change the pizza. Instead she hung the phone up while I was talking. I frequent Pats Pizza myself and my parents love Angelo's. They are older and didn't deserve the poor customer service since they have been loyal customers for 15 yrs. read more
