I placed a pick up order for a pie, fries and jalapeño poppers. When I got there, there was confusion about what a jalapeño popper was because they gave me peppers. They corrected the error and I left with a pie, poppers and no fries in the bag. My 5 year old son was having a fit because all he wanted were fries. I called Angelo's on the way to pick up my daughter from daycare to tell them that the fries were missing. They said that I could pick up the fries in 10 minutes. I get there 20 minutes later with 2 kids in tow...no fries. Lots of confusion again but I'll have my fries in 10 minutes and they will bring them out to my car for me. 20 minutes later...no fries. I go back inside and still more confusion. It's super busy because it's 5pm now (this all began before 4pm for me). No apologies this time and I'm informed that I never paid for the fries. I finally got my fries 15 minutes after that and after I asked where they were 2 more times. My God...seriously??? If I didn't have an upset 5 year old, I would have called it quits an hour before. Their fries aren't worth all of that aggravation and indifference. I won't be coming back after being a loyal customer for 4 years. read more

I have been ordering here off n on for the past 6yrs that I have lived and worked in the area. It was a neighborhood restaurant so I would often go w the young kids. In a pinch, I would order if I needed something quick because their delivery guy was nice and delivery service was fast Last night, I didnt eat all day because I was packing moving boxes so finally I was starving and wanted something quick so I ordered here. Lg pizza w the works but specifically no mushrooms or olives. I open the box...mushrooms!! Not on top but in the cheese!! Aagghh I call and tell them I asked for no mushrooms just like the receipt says, I said I can take the mushrooms off and eat it for me, but my husband can't eat mushrooms. She asks if I want credit or new pizza? Um my husband has to eat still n he's allergic to mushrooms...New pizza please. I take the mushrooms off n eat a few slices I was starving after waiting 45min, and I wasn't waiting another 30min+ due to an error on your part. We're asked to give the old pizza back before we're given the new pizza, are you kidding me????? Having been a restaurant manager for years, I would've never done that, its bad customer service!! You make the mistake even after specifically requesting the omissions, make us wait 45min then 30min more... you're not even suppose to accept food back after it leaves a restaurant! Very disappointed after being a regular customer, and tipping delivery very well over the years. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Was always a regular customer at Angelo's. They've messed up orders here and there, but always took care of the mishap and re delivered the correct order. At my last experience ordering from Angelo's, I ordered a few meals, one of which was a veggie sandwich with a side of balsamic glaze (the stuff on the bruschetta appetizer), and we specified that so they knew to send it. However we did not the receive the side. I called back to ask for the dressing and a new sandwich (because by the time they bring me the dressing my sandwich would be cold, and they can have that one back). They agreed to deliver it but when I received it I was astonished to see no dressing. The incompetence of the workers at this restaurant is unbelievable. They advertise being open till 11:30 on Sunday. By 10:20 they stopped answering their phone and just probably closed but can't advertise the right time. Several coworkers and I placed a pretty big order. I was told that the pizza, wings and cheese steak sandwiches were good. I myself was disappointed with my grilled chicken wrap with honey mustard. It was poorly constructed, had very little chicken in it and came with a side of yellow mustard instead of the honey mustard I ordered. I was told that it would cost $7 but was charges $2 extra for no apparent reason not to mention extra for peppers and tomato. Included with my $9, almost chickenless wrap, was a small container of stale potato chips. The entire ordeal was topped off with terrible customer service when I attempted to return the food for a refund. I was insulted by both the staff and the owner. All in all. Good pizza and steaks but bad wraps and service. I think I'll take my business else where. read more

We eat at Angelos at least twice a week....whether it be dine in or take out. The pizza is THE BEST! Ok its a wee bit more expensive than most places but SO worth it. I am a big fan of their baked ziti and my husband loves their meatballs. Our newest obsession is the buffalo chicken pizza. Ok the waitstaff leaves a bit to be desired....most but not all. Hank is the best delivery guy there.....so nice and friendly. If there is anything negative to say, i have already said it....just wish some of the staff acted like they cared about their job. Have ordered for delivery numerous times and 9 out of 10 times the order gets messed up. The girls taking the orders don't know how to spell their own names and the manager doesn't know how to spell pizza. The last time I ordered for delivery I called an hour after the order and they said food is on the way. I called back 30 minutes later and the manager said they lost my order??? Never order from this place. Horrible...the worst. There is no ZERO star but that is what they deserve. read more

I have been a long time customer of Angelo's in Larchmont with numerous great meals and experiences and various service staff who were attentive, observant, and clean. In the last year or so, I have been disappointed in the direction this once a gem of a restaurant is headed. In years past you came into Angelo's and were greeted, tables were wiped and set and the dining room was neat as a pin. My family and I have not seen this in visits as of late. In our latest dining experience, the dining room was moderately busy but not bustling like on a Friday night. Our table wasn't set and we weren't greeted for a few minutes. Our waitress wasn't personable and was not trained very well in being efficient. She gave us menus. When we ordered our drink and they arrived, they weren't filled to the top and were plopped onto the table. We ordered our food and waited. The food came out without any eating utensils, (my wife had to get up and ask someone in the kitchen area). The salad looked unappetizing and was not filled. I also pulled a hair out of my mouth as I ate my sandwich but didn't want to make a fuss. There is no comparison to years past and the amount of emotion, taste, and great service that every staff member used to display. I also would see Pino, the owner all the time preparing pizza after pizza guiding his staff on a busy night. However, while the cat's away, the mice will play. I was wondering what is going on there as the passion has gone. I do hope this restaurant bounces back soon. We used to recommend this place to all of our friends, but now we will be going somewhere else. read more

Both of our meals were made wrong. One was barely warm. For the prices they are charging, the food should be significantly better than it was. Our server was sweet, but very overwhelmed. They need to be better staffed for a busy weekend. read more

Still very upset with this place! First time there tonight, I came in with my husband and two young daughters. Came in about 8:30pm, did not leave until 9:48pm! Absolutely ridiculous. We came in and sat in the dining room area, sat for about 5 mins, nobody came and acknowledge us, so my husband stood up and asked for some menus. "server" came up and took drink orders, and then we put an app in. She returns a few minutes later and we were still not ready to order and asked that the app go in first. So by the time we are ready to order our meal, app would be out. NOPE! App took 25 mins, and they were just wings too. She brings out the app and then says your other food is ready, I asked if they could hold it so we can at least enjoy the wings. After we were done with the app, she then returns and I said it was okay to bring the other stuff out. I had ordered a meatball sub. Never have I been to a place where there was a different of Meatball with sauce and meatball parm! I did not order the parm, but she rang me up as that. Then for the kids we order raviolis with meatball. On the menu it says 6.00 on the check it says 9.50! I questioned that and they said I read the menu wrong. But as a server she should have specify and she saw that I point to it when I was ordering. So in the end, manager on duty (young guy with absolutely no experience in customer service) comes up and ask what is the problem. I told him, explain the situation and he said to me there's nothing they can do about the check total. I said it was my first time, and I will never return. For him to not do anything about it to make a customer happy, clearly shows that they do not care for a return trip from the customer. Absolutely horrible! I WILL DEF NOT RETURN EVER! Will pass along to our friends and family about our experience. Still very angry that I had to pay $40+ for something that was not even that good. We went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory and spent $40 but was so worth it. Please people, if you want real food, this location is not it! I ordered a pizza steak with extra cheese. It was not toasted like a pizza steak should be and the cheese was one big clump. There was little to no sauce on it. Last time I ordered a chicken parm sandwich which came with no sauce and had to be picked up and replaced. What's happening there? It was always my go too place, but not anymore. They brought me the wrong pie then wanted me to wait another 40 minutes while they brought the correct one and told me that I had to "return" the wrong one. So my guys, who are watching the Eagles game, get to smell pizza they can't eat?? Really? It was pepperoni which, while it wasn't what we ordered, they like and will eat but I don't. Also, why would they take a food item back that has been sitting in somebody's house for an hour? To throw it away???...OR, reserve it? I've been going to this spot since I was a little kid. I lived in Mt. Laurel my entire life! I am 25 now and I'm ashamed to say that this place has gone down the drain tremendously. It used to be the best and I ordered here all the time, so much that I've known the phone # by heart for as long as I can remember now. I keep giving them chance after chance because its hard to believe how terrible their service really is now. Probably about the last at least 10 times I've tried to order, I've been very disappointed. I think I officially give up on them. The last time I called, it was an hour before they were supposed to close but I guess they decided to close early. I've worked in the food industry for a while so I can understand sometimes closing early when there isn't enough business but when I called the girl who answered the phone didn't even say hello. She answered and said "were actually closing sorry". For all that, she might as well have not even answered. I responded and said oh well it's very early.. and she said sorry my manager said we're closing and hung up on me. I live right across the street so I debated on driving over but I was so frustrated that I decided to just let that be the last chance I ever give them. I've been very fed up with this place bc it has been many times where I have called and they tell me they are closing early. I've been giving them so much business my whole life so it disappoints me. The last few times that I've actually ordered food from them, they have messed up my order every single time. I can't remember the last time I've ordered from them and they did it right. One time I ordered hot wings and when I got home, they were completely dry. One time I said no cheese bc I had someone over with an allergy and they had 2 different types of cheeses on the food. One time I called to order and asked if they had curly fries and the boy said "uhhhhh I think the fries have a pretty good curl to them" and I said I'm not sure what that means but can you ask someone for me please and then he asked and returned to the call and say sorry we actually don't... some of the staff are just very clueless and the service is unprofessional in every way possible. Came here on Christmas Eve and I must say I want to come back next time I am in area. Food was incredible and really worth the value. Soup salad and pasta for an extra $2.49. With all of the Italian places that offer delivery in my area, this has become the last place on my list. Over priced, takes FORVER, and screws up the order 80% of the time. I waited for over 2 hours for 2 large pizzas and some cheese fries on a random Thursday and when it was delivered it was ice cold. The next time, I ended up getting the wrong persons food delivered to my house! Luckily I caught the driver before he took off. Suggest avoiding this place. Not because of bad food but because of poor service. To be fair the food is usually pretty good. My family and I have ordered countless times but our most recent dinner order was messed up. Our order of hot wings looked like wing soup and we ordered vodka sauce for the ravioli's but instead we were given marinara sauce. My wife called to talk to the manager MIKE, who started getting loud and rude on the phone. He wanted us to drive back so he could inspect the food. My wife asked for his driver to come and pick it up. She refused to drive back there (principle behind the fact that the order was messed up was not her fault). After a few more minutes of unprofessional behavior on his part, he then hung up the phone on my wife. The manager Mike is very difficult to deal with. Place is not what it used to be. Have been going to this location for 16 years and I will not go back even though it is right down the street. The large pies keep getting smaller each week (we have a pizza night!). I realize the pies they make to sell single slices at the counter are larger, but when you order a large pie from them it looks more like a medium. 2 slices of their "large pie" you order will make up one they sell at the counter. Their is a HUGE difference, not just a small difference. The last few times the crust was "dusty" and chewy, very skimpy on the cheese. What they call a Sicilian pie is just a regular pie in a square shape, slightly thicker than the traditional round. We used to dine in at least 2 times a month but their entrees are not worth their price. The food is good, but for their prices, I want great. We tried a new pizza place tonight only 2 miles down the road that was much better and their prices are reasonable. Their prices have gone up and their quality has gone down. read more
