OK LET'S GO!!! Angles Auto in Utah is the WORST!! The relationship I have with Angels is over 4 years old so there is a lot of in between but over all this is the summary. I am sure they have an opinion of me but ultimately, they need to take responsibility for the work they do especially if they are wasting peoples day and time after ruining their vehicles. Let's start with Car one when I was still oblivious to their SCAMS and waste of time where for some ODD reason that every car, they touch has more and more issues then when it when it!! Car #1 Mazda what it needed from an ACUAL mechanic was a timing belt they messed up the electrical SO BAD that you turn the car on then the sunroof opens when the car is turned on. But of course, ANGEL the owner that you will never speak to because he has you talk to his wife that "runs the office" I ended up selling the car AFTER Angle did about $4000 worth of work that NEVER worked but his WIFE RONDA always had more suggestions of useless parts to put on. They convinced me that it was just a lemon of a car, so I sold it to me sister-in-law (she had a mechanic that fix it in a day for under $500. At this time, I still trusted Angles because they are nice and the shop LOOKED professional so I took them MY CLASSIC Pontiac G8 GT that still to this say is missing clips and is busted apart they said it's just the clips you can buy them on AMAZON so tell me if they can be purchased so quickly why is my classic car being treated this way. I WAS VERY UPSET my husband said it's fine we will figure it out. We still had an ok relationship with Angel's because I wanted to trust them. That is when EVERYTHING came to a head, I allowed them to work on my Brand New no other owner 2019 Dodge Durango my husband and I bought it brand new with 10 miles it needed a water pump. my husband put on the water pump, and he didn't get the seal right so he figured no big deal I will take it to Angel's they can HANDLE a SEAL, RIGHT?!?! Think not! had to take it back the next day to be looked at again to get the seal put in correctly they were nice, so things were ok! THEN THEN the AC all of the sudden stops working then guess what Ronda (Angles Wife) telling us once again our brand new ac needed freon recharged ( that is when my red flags went off HARD CORE) this is a 2 year old car with NO damage to the ac compressor so they charge me a little over $700 to charge the ac THE NEXT DAY after the charge I get a call 2 things my AC has a leak that they found AFTER the ac charge AND THE MECHANIC LEFT HIS FLASH LIGHT IN MY ENGIN BAY!!!!! so they want me to come to the shop for them to replace my ac condenser AND pay for the Freon AGAIN and for the mechanic to replace the!!! that was over $1500. So, I told Renee that look I will pay for the part but the rest of this is a JOKE!!!!!! I have come back with EVERY car with more parts more cost they are a none stop scam and they intentionally destroy cars to get you coming back every 3 months AND JUST SO we are crystal clear my Durango is in their shop right now under the warranty for the water pump that was done recently and they said I need a new water pump again!!!!!!! so weird ANGEL so weird. AS we are there to get it checked to CONFIRM their past work, they told my husband that because of MY complaint they will not work on my car. They will do their warranty work (but we can't prove its their work because the moment the water pump comes off it needs a new seal, Angel knows this that's how he avoids taking accountability for his business) but just so you are all aware we didn't want you to do the work we wanted to physically see that we know what you are doing and so does Master Muffler that has literally fixed every problem you caused in my cars. All three of them I will be going to the better business too NEVER go to this CON SHOP they MASTER MUFFLER is doing the work today for HALF the cost and they are using the correct coolant to fill it up. Also ANGEL told me to my face he specializes in electrical!!! I can see how you screw everyone over ANGEL, and I will go to no ends to ensure everyone know what you do to get business take responsibility for your work and employees!! I will say the man that runs the desk I believe is Eric is, so kind and he was trying to help as RONDA is just TRASH of a business owner!!! read more

I came to you to have an estimate done on my uncle's car, that I am borrowing to drive to work and school. You told me the work to fix the car would be $115. After the assessment your team gave me an estimate for $1924.83. A far cry from the 1st projection of $115. Your technician said all he did was put it on a lift and assess the work to be done. Then told me it was more than he thought. When she couldn't afford the amount of work recommended, you charged me $120 to just give me the keys back in the middle of a snow storm. If I could give zero stars I would. Angel the owner would not even talk to me. read more

Angel's is really fabulous! The staff is incredible--they're courteous, honest, hard working, and great communicators. I was given a reasonable quote that they stuck too, and when they ran into an issue that was going to cost more, they called me first, explained the issue (I'd brought all of my own parts for several jobs, and one of the parts was a universal that required welding and cutting) and charged me a mere $40 extra for the labor. I know mechanics get bad reps with being dishonest and it's hard to know who to trust. My family usually does our own automotive work, so we can usually tell when a mechanic is trying to pull the wool over our eyes/doesn't do what they claimed to/etc., and I can say that there was ZERO of that nonsense going on here.
