Left 3 messages and numerous ones in the past to schedule a cleaning and I never receive a call back.

The cleaning employees did a phenomenal job. It's the owner that will end up hustling you. I called Angels for the first time this week, where I scheduled with someone who agreed to do home cleaning services for $40/hour. What she didn't specify was that it was $40/hour per person, a rate that I didn't learn about until the end of the cleaning job. There was no confirmation or invoice to say there would be multiple employees coming in. When I explained this to the owner during a phone call, she didn't accept it was her responsibility to communicate this thoroughly. I emphasized my budget was for $40/hour, for the 2-3 hours needed, and that I didn't have the cash for what ended being twice the amount expected. Even though I tried to explain that I was okay with the price for future appointments, but that this was the business' responsibility to absorb the cost for miscommunicating (especially since they provided no single documentation), the owner and I never found a middle ground. She took it personally, told me to go fuck my mother, hung up, and sent her daughter to call the police in front of me. It's clear this has been a method of duplicating gains for their apparently "25 years of service". Our conversations implied that this has happened before, but that they are not willing to improve how to communicate their prices. Tips: Specify how many employees you want. So this was billed as a deep cleaning; disinfectant experience. First they didn't show up on the day of the appointment, I rescheduled. At the reschedule we did a walk through and I was quoted $1100 bc it was going to be a 6-7 hour job. I was pretty shocked but went ahead bc the house really needed cleaning. So 4.5 hours later, done. I notice a few things during walk through and point them out, they do touch ups. They leave and I ask service if this is still $1100; yes. Truly needed to be best cleaning ever for that fee. It wasn't. After they left I discovered garbages not emptied, microwave not clean, windows smudged, and worst of all bathroom floor absolutely still had layer of dust/dirt. I feel totally ripped off. And would not recommend this service to anyone. read more

First time using a cleaning service. I did some shopping around, read up on my options and decided to call Angels. Why Angels? They bring their own cleaning supplies- that's huge. Affordable- $55 for a one bedroom, and you pay a flat fee, not by the hour. The lack of any yelp reviews made me a little concernicus, but whatevs. There aren't many cleaning services that are reviewed in my area and those that are rated aren't necessarily rated well. I'll roll the dice. I made the appt on Tuesday for noon Saturday- and time was of the essence because I was having 20 people over that evening. By 12:50, they were not there yet. I had my hands full with food I was cooking so my husband called to follow up. He said that woman he spoke to was not friendly and just unapologetically snapped that they were running behind. Now that just makes me want to scream. I personally don't care if they're running behind but then someone from the service needs to call me. You could say they'd be two hours late for all I care, but I shouldn't have to call you to find this out. It takes two seconds to pick up the rack-a-frackin phone and problem is solved. Anyhow, I realize it's not the fault of these two women (who are knocking on the door at this point) so I decide to let it go... They did a marvelous job! The kitchen is shiny and smells fresh as a Carolina pine forest. The chrome in the sink was so clean it actually gave the twinkle they embellish onto the containers of cleaning agents. They got the crud from the inside of the microwave. They scrubbed the tub, dusted everywhere (including blinds) and also got into the gross bathroom floor grout. I was home the entire time (probably in their way) but had stuff to do for this party and they just worked around me. Very satisfied with the finished product. Worth every dime. Will use again. Would easily give 5 stars were it not for 1) the lateness which was understandable but excessive and 2) the poor communication around said lateness. I feel really bad writing this update because I was genuinely satisfied with their cleaning job the first time they did it. But subsequent appointments made me feel like an idiot for giving them so many chances. The cleaning just wasn't thorough enough. The shower was still grimy, the kitchen floors were sticky, the cook top wasn't scrubbed at all. Basically my apartment looked neat but it wasn't clean, which is unacceptable since it's a cleaning service, not a tidying service. I shopped around for a bit and I now use a family owned service that does a much much better job. My 1 bdrm apartment is cleaned from end to end, incl windows, fridge and oven for 50 bucks. read more

I am horribly dissatisfied. I waited 3 hours for them to show up. Then when it came time to pay I only got a $5 discount!!!!! I had high hopes from them but I have wasted my ENTIRE MORNING and no one ever even called me to say they would be late. I called at 8:15am (8am was my appt.) and asked what was going on and I was told they were in my bldg and I was next. Well that could not have been true b/c I called back at 10:30am and they were supposedly on their way and then they called when they were at the front door. read more

Our first experience with Angels Cleaning was quite impressive. I hired the service to clean our two bed/two bath condo as we prepared to host a holiday party between Christmas and New Years 2014. The housekeepers were a little late, but pleasant and the did an excellent job! I then hired them to come every two weeks for basic cleaning. They were a no-show on the next visit. I overlooked that as a miscommunication. When they returned, they again did a fabulous job cleaning...HOWEVER, when I got home I noticed that we were missing one glass from three different sets of stemware!! I have two large shelves of various types of stemware. When I got home after the second cleaning, I noticed one of my specially designed shot glasses was missing. On further inspection, one of my champagne flutes (from a set of 4) was missing, and one of 4 round goblets was also missing. When I called the Angels Cleaning Service office, I was told to look in the dishwasher for the missing glasses....like I didn't know to do that before I called them. Duh!!! The glasses have never been found. I immediately discontinued the service! Don't be fooled like we were. I'm also filing a complaint with the BBB. Dr. RG read more

I've never used a cleaning service before, but this was way painless and they did a great job. They charged me $80 for my one bedroom; I left the key one day while I was at work and it was sparkling clean when I got back. From here on out it's $65 I think. Seems reasonable and I will definitely be going back! read more

Mireya was awesome! Super helpful, very thorough and a pleasure to work with. They were a little late, but it was the first time I had used them and it was a rainy gross Chicago morning! Definitely not a big deal. I had them clean my rental unit when my tenants moved out and then I had her clean mine as well. She came with two other helpers and they were in and out in about 5 hours. $10 extra and they cleaned both ovens! Looks brand new! I wish there had been a teensy bit more attention to detail like dust under the radiators or on some of the woodwork - but overall, great job. I am definitely going to spoil myself and hire them again soon. read more

Waste of Time and Unreliable. I found out about Angels when I noticed their business truck in my neighborhood while I was out walking my dogs. I decided to give them a call since they were located in my neighborhood and I thought why not give my business to someone from my community. Well turns out they didn't want my business. I called them last week and scheduled an appointment for an estimate for a Friday evening. They never showed up, nor did they call to let me know they were not coming. I called them the next day, and they apologized that they were not able to make it because they were stuck on a job pretty late. I gave them one more shot and scheduled a cleaning appointment, without the estimate on first thing Monday morning at 8am. Again, they never showed up, and they didn't call to let me know they were not coming. After an hour, I called them again and again they stated that they had to go somewhere else, but could go right then and there. I declined their offer as they had wasted enough of my time. The least they could have done was called to let me know they were running late. Although it seems they were not running late as they never thought of showing up. Very unprofessional, and upsetting that this is the type of service Angel's provides to members of their own community. read more

Unfortunately, I wish I could give a positive review, but I'll never know how well they perform these cleaning services because no one would respond to my inquiries for service. I got their name & number from my building management and, after leaving 2 voicemails and sending an e-mail request through their website, I still had not heard back. I gave one last call today before reaching out to another provider, and the individual finally picked up the phone. I had asked if they had received all of my inquiries (over a 2+ week span, mind you) and she said yes, but had not gotten around to returning my messages. With that being said, I do wish Angels Cleaning Service congratulations on business being so booming that they turned away new business. Kudos to them. But when attention to detail is of paramount importance (in my opinion), I'm suspect. read more

so I noticed how the service went from pretty good to mediocre over time - talking about dust bunnies under the bed and dry cat's puke on the chair not cleaned after I paid $100 for my two bedroom two bath + an office apartment. Can a crew of 2 people do a good job in two hours? That's what I asked the manager when deciding to give this company one more chance (two ladies came this time) - the answer? "that's what we offer" you can pay per hour price of $35 if you want a thorough (not deep!) clean. All I want is to get a quality thorough service for the money I pay. Not worth your time - go elsewhere for your quality clean for a hefty $100!! btw I have a regular 3 week service - no discounts or anything were ever offered:( read more

Please do not use this service. I had thousands of dollars of jewlery and other items taken from my apartment. I used this service once and never again. They would not even refund me the money I paid to have their employees steal my personal property. When I contacted the service all they said was "these things happen." They offered no help or remorse. They also lost my keys. Terrible experience all around. read more

I have been trying for nearly a year to work out various issues with Angels Cleaning Service but have finally had enough. First, they were supposed to clean my condo every other Friday from 2-4pm. Not once have they ever come during that window despite repeated phone calls to ask them to please come when they are scheduled. They have shown up before 8am, on the wrong day, etc. Today they barged in, without knocking, on a day they are not even scheduled to be here. When I called to complain the lady who answers the phone said someone should have called me to tell me that they needed to come a day early. No one ever did. For a few months I tried having them do my laundry for an extra charge. However, every single time they would take the clothes out of the dryer while they were still soaking wet and fold them or hang them up and I would have to rewash and redry everything once I got home. I finally canceled the laundry service. Then a few months ago I came home and my dog was acting strangely and a little spooked. I check my security camera and found that the cleaning people had once again shown up hours before the scheduled time but this time spent the first 45 minutes playing loud music, eating their lunches, and scaring my dog before they finally cleaned for about 20 minutes and left. Then, to add insult to injury, they have been over charging me for months. I have complained repeatedly. The first time they gave me a credit. This time they said they would drop off a check for the amount they overcharged but never did. I have emailed and called repeatedly but they still haven't refunded the money. And every time I call to try to address an issue they are rude. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

very pleased with angels cleaning service will use them at least once a week... made my appt. at 12pm they didnt show up 20 mins later... they said they were running late,,but as soon as they showed up they started to clean immediately,, very impressed with how fast they cleaned they cleaned and dusted every nook and crack they are very professional and use the best cleaning supplies.. my kitchen and bathrooms look AMAZING not to mention the rooms..over all very satisfied with the service read more
