This was so helpful for me and my family. Finally we had a caregiver to help ease some of the tremendous amount of stress this puts on me (someone who is handicapped myself taking full time care of my mother) and my family. Then we had a sub come in for her, Donna, who they said was "their best". She didn't do half the stuff the first girl did, mostly just sat around chatting with my dad. Didn't even really help my mom. The next thing we knew the owner James called and said the sub lady said my mom got aggressive with her even though the first girl said nothing but good things about my mom who is mostly loving and just tells you she loves you over and over again. Because that second, lazy lady came in we lost our first caregiver and now were back at square one. Was a great experience at first but have to give one star because of this.

It was clean, the meals were exceptional, the apartments were well cared for, and the staff was a cut above the norm. The care they provided was A+. I cannot provide a more positive review. If I could give it a higher than 5 stars, I certainly would. I came away knowing that my dear friend is in a place where she is safe, and among friends who care for her.

When I visited him, multiple times, I was shocked at the condition of the home and the poor treatment of my friend by the staff here. The home smelled awful and was stuffy, the furniture in his room was old and falling apart, the closet door was broken, and the downstairs bathroom was not wheelchair friendly at all, nor private. The staff were hard to understand, and treated my friend like a child, not taking the time to listen to what he was telling them (he speaks slowly due to his medical condition), and it took two small women to move him (awkwardly) from his wheelchair to a chair. When my friend was transferred (thankfully) to a new facility and the transport service arrived to drive him, the staff at Century Home Care didn't send ANY of his personal belongings with him- nothing at all, not his wallet or any personal items; they didn't ask him what he wanted to take with him in the van. It was completely in disregard of his humanity and his needs. I would not allow anyone I know to get care or stay at this house-turned-assisted living facility.

I would not recommend Angels lll. My 90 year old mother was there for several months and in the…read morebeginning it was fairly good, unfortunately, that did not last. The house is mainly managed by the caregivers. My family spent many hours there and saw a lot. The house is extremely dirty, there were mice and droppings in my mother's room. My mom's linens were soiled and not changed , just covered over. Many of her garments were either missing or ruined from improper washing. She was not receiving her twice daily eye drops as prescribed by her Dr. The food was inedible for the most part. The shared bathroom was not handicapped accessible so my mom would have to use a plastic basin set on her walker to wash her face and do her teeth. The caregivers are responsible for all these tasks and there is no way this can be done by two people. The main caregiver (who is so sweet) is 78 years old. Really!!! The poor woman had gout and could hardly walk. The owner, Joann , didn't care about any of our concerns. It's all about the money!!!!! Don't let her upbeat personality fool you.
