They suck I call at 930 asked if they could take me the whole time they are calling me ugly as I'm getting my feet down so they pretty much focus me to get my nails done but my feet took from 945. Until 1045 and my hands from 10 until 11:10 they made me late for work and do a horrible job they kept telling me they aren't over price they are for a shitty job do not go if unless you want to be miss treated and your money stolen I'm going for a refund!!! I got a pedicure and gel manicure here and had told them ahead of time that I had gel on my fingers. They didn't soak them at all during the pedicure like most places do. Instead they started soaking them after and let it sit for maybe 4 minutes, if that. So of course it wasn't enough time and the lady decided to Dremel the rest off. She ended up going so far into my nails that the heat hurt my nail bed. I normally have really thick nails and they were so thin afterwards that even with new polish on they were bending from simple things like scratching my arm. I honestly don't think I've had a worse manicure in my life. The pedicure was ok - nothing to write home about. Instead she made it seem as if I was an inconvenience and told me to pick a color. When I asked her how long, she said... "10 minutes." Famous last words right? I needed a powder gel manicure. Open early on a Sunday morning. +. Was helped by Ginny (Jenny?). She was gentle removing my old polish, taking time to let my nails soak twice in acetone. I went to get my eyebrows waxed and she spent most of the time using a tweezer which was extremely painful and then when I got up to check them I realized she took off way to much. I was then paying and did not think that the service I got deserved a tip. The lady who did my eyebrows then talked me into tipping her after I completed the transaction and said to her I didn't have any cash on me. She tried explaining that I could pay a tip on card, after I tried walking out because I was confused on why she needed a tip, she then screamed to get me back inside to give her a tip. I am now up next and a lady with no appointment comes in and her sister is a regular I overhear. A nail technician named Jenny starts to argue with the manager about not wanting to do the manicure (me) and wanting to do the pedicure lady first even though I was there first. Eventually she heeds to the manager and I get a awfully rushed manicure maybe 10 minutes with 50% of the actual nail manicure process not done. I do not suggest going here when they are even remotely busy; they cannot handle busy very well and dont go here if you want a manicure, they will rush you along. Glad she rushed cause I was going to give a $40 tip, and I decided to give only 10% of that ($4) because of the terrible service. She only got $4 because she was still providing a service! Avoid. False advertising. Advertises a Keratin Glove Manicure AND Keratin Glove pedicure for $30. Only gives you the manicure. Then after tells you they stopped offering the pedicure. Meanwhile no where does it say we no longer offer the Keratin pedicure and you only get a regular pedicure. She then proceeds to tell me it's just a name anyway when I called her out on it. Then she actually tells me she stopped offering the keratin glove pedicure service because customers complain they don't want it!! A bunch of crappy excuses for not offering as advertised. I DONT KNOW IF I LIKE IT HERE. I went to Angels touch salon to get eyelash extensions for the first time. My appointment was at 5 o'clock but he called me an hour before hand to tell me to come 15 minutes late when I got there at 5:20 I had to wait 10 more minutes till I was seen. The woman who did my lashes was really nice, I showed her what I wanted, length, curl and style, and she told me she could do it. She told me to lay down and she put a blanket on me and a pillow under my head. But while she was doing the application I noticed that she hadn't stuck down the eye pads well enough because my bottom lashes were sticking to my top lashes. The process didn't hurt until I was done and she told me I shouldn't open my eyes. So confused, I was laying there while she took what I assumed to be scissors to my lashes and proceeded to cut my I lashes away from each other so I could open my eyes. This was pretty painful but I think she tried to distract me with a face massage, The thing is she wiped the excess lotion into my hair, leaving me looking greasy. After I was done I looked in the mirror and noticed my eyelashes just looked longer, when I clearly showed her pictures and asked her for fuller lashes. All in all my experience here wasn't the worst because I know people make mistakes, but I would've liked to have gotten what I paid and asked for. Let me start by saying the lady who did my nails was as sweet as pie BUT my oh my are my nails RUINED! Powdered tips only two coats and $42. Rip off. I already have 3 broken nails and 4 others the polish is all cracked and I just got them done on Saturday. I will never go back and I highly recommend you find another place. I have been getting my nails, pedicures, eyelashes and facials done here with Han. She is sooooo good at what she does, I have had acrylics,silk, powder, gel, regular, all ways, through the years, I have NEVER left unhappy. Her designs are amazing too!! I can't say enough good words about how professional, accommodating and just fabulous they are. I travel from St.James to come here and pass probably 10 nail salons, on my way, but it's worth the trip for the service with a smile Cindy and her husband are hard workers and the salon is filled with positive energy. I dont know if the issue is with the polish or the way it was applied. It's hard to justify coming back here, given that there are so many other options in the area. My family has been going to Angel's Touch for nearly 10 years. It's our best kept secret in regards to nail salons in the Port Jefferson area. Angel's Touch is right off of Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station tucked next to the bowling alley. The women in the store are the friendliest and we've built lasting relationships with all of them. I spend many weekends away so when I've had to get pedicures or manicures elsewhere, I'm just not treated with the same delicacy and attention as they give me here. My girls are talented and I always get a great mani-pedi from them. There are very few feelings that are better than having a fresh mani-pedi. They have reasonable hours and prices. I can come early in the morning on a weekend or stop by after work during the week for a pedicure before a weekend out of town. They also have rooms for massages, waxing, and eyebrows. It's never a long wait. I always make appointments but they've been very accommodating for walk-ins without sacrificing any attention to their current clients. read more

I paid for upgrades that were severely lacking. Our usual salon gives you a 10 minute foot and leg massage with a regular pedicure. I paid for a spa pedicure and barely got 10 minutes. She didn't scrub my feet much and callus removal....paid for, didn't get. They were friendly though. Needless to say, I won't e going back. You should avoid this place as well. read more

Decided to give this salon a second chance yesterday. Never again. The lady removed my previous powder gel by sliding a metro card between my nail and gel and pulled it off. I been here a couple of times and I have had the same girl twice. I love how the girl does my pedicure and massage. Today I walked in and sat down and the girl is doing my pedicure and was putting my polish on and she was doing the final coat. Well another lady walked in and the owner then started hovering over the girl doing my nails and kept coming back and kept looking at my toes and then pushed her out of the way and ripped the top coat from her hands and told her to go do the other lady. And goes ok I do top coat. I said why can't she finish and I got no response. Owner is rude but the girl did a great job. Then the owner is running my card and proceeded to charge me one price and when the ticket is given to her she looks at me and goes I need more money from you rudely. I have no problem paying the difference but they could be a little nicer. I would suggest stay away, but the girl did a good spa pedicure. read more

Nancy is their top shelf employee. Visited yesterday with my daughter and she wasn't there. The technician that pedicured me chose to carry on because I didn't tip her as much as my daughters technician. I was merely acknowledging her rudeness and curt attitude. Tipping is not required and display of poor attitude should not be rewarded. After a few minutes she gave me back the cash and said she didn't need my money. Everyone is not equal in the service that they provide and we tip accordingly, The young lady I had yesterday and Nancy are on opposite ends of the customer service spectrum and I will only return if Nancy is available. read more

Extremely OVERPRICED. I needed an acrylic fill in and two new nails and the total was $38 (then tip on top of that). $4 for each new nail which in general isn't expensive but those are typically cheaper. I have never paid $30 for a basic fill in but that was the set price (I should have checked prior). The most I've paid for a fill-in has been around $18-$21 and the results were nothing special. My nails aren't smoothed and one nail is completely slanted. I didn't notice at first because I was in a rush. I told the lady that I needed to be out of there in 40 minutes and we went well over that time which caused me to be late to an interview. My nail lady was sweet and the customer service was good. It was the actual work that did not meet my average standard for a basic fill-in. I won't be returning. Pricing and talent need improving. read more

Jessica is awesome! I just received my first pedicure and she did an amazing job! Not only do my nails look great, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed and was very helpful. Even when I messed my nails up (how embarrassing!) everyone was friendly and worked together to ensure no one had to wait due to my mess up, and without losing their positive attitudes. First time I went to this place it was amazing. Did a great powder manicure. (Had Christina) everytime I've come back on and off since then because of convenience being right around the corner from my home, I regret it. My nails always crack within a few days of the powder, or they say not a long wait and I wait 45min everytime. Anyone I've gotten with the exception of Christina does not do powder well at all. Either they do not get the color close enough to my cuticle or my nails crack within days. For what it costs for a powder manicure plus a pedicure I expect my nails to hold up at least two weeks. It's my own fault for returning but this place is not a great nail salon. read more

I came to this salon almost by accident because Ppo Ppo's just down the street couldn't take my appointment ( By the way I would highly recommend going there over Angel's Touch anyway ). When I first walked in, I couldn't complain. They were able to accommodate me rather quickly, and with short notice too. I was given my pedicure first, and it was pretty nice. Jane did my toes, and I am satisfied with her job. My manicurist, Jennie, was a whole other story. She did my acrylic fill, and did a pathetic job. My nails were lifting before the manicure, and they were after. Not to mention, my nails are filed crooked. Not worth the $30 I payed. Please please don't come here for a manicure. Pedicure, sure. The hot rocks they used were nice too, but the manicure was a disgrace. Please go to Ppo Ppo instead. They're right around the corner and ten times better. read more

Looks a little suspicious from the outside, but once you walk in it is a cute, quaint salon. I made an appointment 10 minutes before I showed up (does that even count as an appointment?) and they were ready to go for me the second I arrived. The staff was instantly friendly, smiling, and welcoming, and I loved how hospitable they were to the other patrons as well as myself. I got a gel manicure ($25), and I absolutely loved it! My nail technician was quick, efficient, and did a wonderful job. Instead they used powder dipping method which is not the same for anyone that knows true acrylic application.
