The wax used here is hard wax and works phenomenal. The waxes I receive are: Brazilian, lower legs, upper lip, side burns, and cheeks. Nicole does an excellent job! I used to get waxed at a nail salon (I've been getting waxed for about 10 years now) and what a nightmare that was. I can assure you that when I leave here, I don't even feel that I've just gotten a Brazilian wax, it's wild actually. I go right next door to shop at TJMaxx like it's nothing. At the nail salon I'd have to mentally prepare myself and ice for a day after - how crazy!!! Nicole is very sweet as well. She has a kind voice, and she talks to you the entire time. After knowing her for a few years now, I feel as though she is a friend of mine. She makes you feel very comfortable during your wax. I just know I'll be getting waxed by Nicole until the end of time, and I hope she never leaves the area! I don't know what I'd do without her. As for the business itself, it's clean inside and they have a single men's bathroom and single women's bathroom. They have many products up front by the checkout counter which they do push their waxers to sell to their clients. Everything there I can really do without except the ingrown hair serum which is an absolute must, so I highly suggest that to prevent ingrown hairs. Also, the person who checks you out when you are done always tries selling you packages. You just have to say no if you don't want it. I have packages for every single one of my waxes because I know I'm going to get waxed forever, so for me it's worth it. If you're not sure, just wait. The best deal is usually the buy 9 get 3 free. Either way, I'm a loyal client and will continue to be back.

They have 16 stations and 12 pedi chairs, and while I always make a reservation I'm never left waiting. 2) Quality is beyond the standard. Rushing doesn't happen here even when it's busy. There's not someone else doing your nails in the middle of your pedicure to save time. The techs take their time, they're skilled, and every manicure gets a nice exfoliation in addition to moisturizer. 3) There's diversity. It's so pleasant to see a diverse group of artists in one space, from different ethnicities, male and female, young and old. I've never seen anything like it. I recommend making an appointment as a courtesy to their high demand, but if you're looking for an experience and not just a pretty set, this place won't disappoint.

The nail tech (I believe her name was Liz) seemed to rush through the entire service and was not gentle at all. She ended up breaking skin on toes and didn't even ask the shape or how I wanted it done or even give me the books of colors to choose from, anyways , the experience was very uncomfortable and honestly painful. The woman on the phone stated that she could fit me in same day and that I did not have to purchase the Groupon and that she would just honor the price in person. I figured that would be preferred for them as they wouldn't get fees deducted from Groupon and I wanted to support a local small business. I came on time and only had to wait a short while before I was seen. The facial itself was fine. I was left alone for a long time with my eyes covered and face mask on without being informed about the length. It wasn't super relaxing because it's not really a spa-like environment and just in a salon so you just hear everything going on but it wasn't advertised as such so that's not really a negative. I do think that the esthetician should explain each steps they were going to perform and also have a form or a conversation where they discussed allergies or restrictions. I am use to that at procedure most other establishments to avoid negative reactions and experience. My only real complaint is with the check out process. I was charged and extra $4 because I paid with credit card supposedly due to "credit card fees" because I didn't have enough cash on me. They did match the Groupon price but I should have just purchased the Groupon because I ended up paying more for the service due to the extra fees than I would have otherwise. I think that was not fair and not explained well. Unfortunately, I would not be returning. The staff was nice and I did not mind my facial but I would recommend the staff be more transparent and informative.

During the dermaplaning, my shoulder was burned -- something I wasn't even informed about at the time. The scar is still visible. As for the lash lift, it barely lasted -- definitely not worth the money and damaged my lashes for some time. At the end, I provided payment via card and a cash tip. The tip was thrown back at me and the nail tech told me I must provide 20% for the service she provided. I was not going to argue over $15. However, I'm sure there are plenty of individuals who cannot provide a 20% tip. She went over to her boss and they laughed about it. A very uncomfortable position to put a customer in with the doors locked. TNT Nails in Monroe has great prices for their work and they treat customers with respect. I would highly recommend TNT Nails over Sky Nails. I've been going to them as a non local for years and had great experiences.
