I recently went with two friends to clean the sink (ice cream challenge). We had to wait half an hour because the ice cream machine was being cleaned (fine, I like clean food). We decided to order a little food before starting the ice cream. The chili was very salty, and I ordered what I thought would be a scone (because it is labeled a scone on the menu). What I received was a large plate sized piece of fried dough. The waitress then later referred to my fried dough as a scone, as did the receipt. Sorry Angie's not at all impressed with your options. The dining atmosphere (table set ups, decorations) is also cheap and not enjoyable. read more

We were in Logan to attend the Utah Festival and ate at this restaurant three times. The service is excellent! There are servers at your table constantly pouring water or coffee and a manager checking on you to ask about your meal. We ate breakfast twice here and the eggs were cooked perfectly. It's hard to find places that cook poached eggs and these were really good! At dinner one evening we tried the broasted chicken which was crispy, hot, and moist inside--for only $5.99, and that included potatoes and coleslaw! You can't beat the prices or the service anywhere! read more

My son and I were in Logan and we were looking for a place to grab some lunch. I remember eating at Angies years ago with my grandparents and so I thought this would be a good spot. I had the turkey avocado sandwich with clam chowder and my son had a burger and fries. The food was under whelming, the clam chowder had a weird taste like it had been sitting-in the warmer too long. The turkey sandwich was ok. My sons fries were cold and his burger was alright. When we got there we were seated and a lovely young lady brought us our drinks she had a smile and was so polite, but then our waitress arrived she stood behind my son (next to the booth behind us) not even at our table. No smile just what can I get you. We ordered it was very weird. She came back with my soup and basically threw it on the table at me as she walked by. When she brought the rest of our meal again she just threw it on the table and didn't even ask if we needed anything else. I flagged down another waitress and asked if we could get some condiments for my sons burger and with a big smile she said of course and promptly returned with them. When we were almost finished our original waitress retuned with fry sauce for my sons fries, she never asked if we were doing ok or needed anything else. Once again she came by with our check and just set it on the table and walked away. She obviously does not like her job or care about the customers at all. (She only had 3 tables) I can deal with underwhelming food, but I do not like bad service. So thank you for the two lovely ladies that actually took care of us with a smile. If we are ever in Logan again we will not be visiting Angie's. read more

The food here is by no means impressive to anyone outside of Logan, UT. If you want a more unique experience head to Herms Inn for a similar price and far better quality. That's not to say the food is bad, just not special. Slightly less quality then most diner food. read more

We pulled up to Angie's and jumped out. We went inside and waited a few seconds until we were directed by a kind waiter to our seats. He asked us if this was a special occasion or if this was just dinner we said that this was a birthday dinner. My sister and I were there with our Grandparents. Then he explained that it is a tradition at this restaurant that they sing to people who had their birthday. He then asked us what we wanted to drink and went to fulfill our orders. We waited for five minutes until a new waiter asked us to order. She was kind and did the usual pleasantries and then said that if my sister and I didn't want to be sung too that it was ok and that we would still get our birthday dessert. That was nice that she made sure if we wanted to be sung to. Then she asked us what we wanted for our appetizer. I wanted soup, and everyone else wanted salad. It took a little longer that we would have liked but we got our soups and salads. When we were done with our appetizers she took the empty plates and bowl away and we ordered our dinner. My grandma, sister and I ordered the same thing. We ordered cod with different vegetables and sides. My grandpa ordered shrimp with a baked potato. The prices for all of what we ordered were ok but it was kind of expensive when all the meal prices were combined. The wait was longer than the wait for appetizers. When she dropped it off they had gotten our orders mixed up. And it took a few minutes to fix. There was a lot of food on the plate but most of the food was french fries, it was fine just maybe a little more cod would have been good. She gave us a ice cream cone because with each meal you get a free ice cream cone. Then she gave us the check, we paid for it super fast and we went home. read more

If you're looking for mediocre food a best in a restaurant that hasn't been changed since the 90s then Angie's is your place. The only reason why this is "where the locals eat" is because 50 years ago it was the only place for locals to eat. Now it's just turned into a weird tradition of having to go to Angie's but paying for crappy, pre-made food. Everything is greasy, nothing is fresh and about the only thing I can handle to eat here is their scone, which how can you screw up a scone. Definitely a disappointment. read more

Great service, always busy, lots of food, kind of like an upscale American basics restauarant. Ate here about six times and kept getting mild stomach cramps - think it's the oils they use. (Used to olive oil, not cannola). But I would eat here again and the chicken-fried steak was probably the best I've ever had. read more

Stopped for lunch and were immediately seated. Not even a minute passed and our beverage order was taken and menus delivered. My husband is a meat and potatos guy and ordered the meatloaf special He loved it. Very large serving. I ordered tomato florentine soup...delicious.....and half a fajita melt sandwich. The half sandwich was almost full sized and very good. Endless coffee refills. The servers were amazing. No slackers there. Other restaurants should send trainees lo learn how it is done. I have eaten at Angie's multiple times at various times of day as well. I have had multiple item from the menu and the majority has been excellent. You can't go wrong with their breakfast. I have not had one bad breakfast item. I love the choose your own breakfast. You can choose four different items out of a good selection. My husband has ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast, which I tasted, and it was delicious. The pancakes are crave worthy, the eggs are cooked just perfectly, the hash browns are deliciously crisp. For lunch and dinner you start getting into different food/taste territory. For the pros, the chicken is amazing. I get the grilled chicken sandwiches and melts, the chicken is flavored well and moist. The burgers are great as well. The patty is flavorful and fresh, the bun is fresh, not dry, and they grill it to give it that good texture. The baked items are worth going alone. The rolls are so flaky and soft, they come warm so the butter just melts. The scones and cinnamon rolls are divine. The pies are good. It all depends on the crust and their crust just isn't flaky enough like I like it. The only cons I have for Angie's is the sliced beef and large entree salads. I have had the sliced beef a few times in sandwiches, different family members have as well, and they are just bland. My family members would agree. The beef must be fresh at some point but by dinner time it tastes old and flavorless. I would never suggest to anyone getting a sliced beef sandwich. That includes the beef melts and french dips. The salads are also not worth your money. The side salad is excellent. The dinner salad that is $8+ are not. I ordered one and the toppings were so sparse I couldn't figure out what I was paying for. I basically bought a 2.50 bag of mixed greens with a few slices of chicken and croutons. Not worth it. I love Angies. It's a great place to take family, especially children. They give you a little ice cream cone after dinner and the kids always look forward to that. The service is always great and fast. I will continue going there as long as they stay. I will recommend it to anyone and if you have a bad experience, I would say don't write them off just yet. read more

We go to breakfast at Angie's almost every single Saturday! We love it. We always order the Light Country Breakfast, which is very inexpensive, delicious, and almost more food than we can eat!! We are such regulars that the waiters and waitresses know exactly what we want before we even order. We often take our children and grandchildren and they LOVE it, too! We have never been disappointed with anything on the breakfast menu! And maybe the best part about Angie's is that everyone who works there is so pleasant, so professional, so friendly, they make everyone who comes in feel like family. Angie's owner, Sabor, always hosts a free Thanksgiving Dinner for anyone who wants to come, yes, I said FREE!!! And those who can/want to pay, may give a donation to a carefully chosen charity. Went many more times over the course of the school year and was never disappointed. I've been coming here for over four years and absolutely love this place. My mom went to Utah State over 25 years ago and to this day, talks about how much she loved Angies, even back then! I think what makes Angies so much fun is the fact that the staff are friendly, interactive, attentive, and extremely fast with their service. Even on a Sunday, once you've been seated, the longest you wait is 15 minutes for your food. in 1990's this place was good place to eat, they always served coffee sort of unusual in Logan. in 2015, I think they got even better. 1990's West side were smoking section, East side facing parking were Non Smoking section. Now all Non Smoking. read more
