This place is a GEM! Their service is A1, they're prompt & attentive…read more Their bubble tea is really good and flavorful. My usuals are: Thai ice tea, taro, coconut or the mango green tea. I switch between milk tea or slushie. I must say, their bread isn't as crusty as most banh mi places but I think that's what makes them stand out. It's a little softer but if u need that extra crunch, ask for it to be toasted AFTER it's made as well. They also have other goods like Shrimp rolls, egg rolls and crb rangoons! U can buy those right from the display case. The food I always fresh!

My wife and I decided to make a pit stop here while we were in the area. We ordered the Chicken,…read moreBeef and Roasted Pork Bahn Mi as well as the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. We've been here many times and it was good, but were pleasantly surprised to find out that it is better!! In my experience, restaurants are generally broken down into 3 categories as time passes: maintain quality, lower quality and improve their quality. Most are in the maintain quality camp, but I will give them a round of applause for getting better. The food: the Bahn Mi bread had a crispy exterior while having a soft center. The veggies were super fresh and flavorful. Everything came together perfectly! The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was bold, sweet and very craveworthy. The staff were very nice and theres definitely room to eat inside, but I wanted to take these back home so I can make an absolute beautiful mess of the crispy, flakey Bahn Mi Bread. This spot used to be a 3 stars, but amped up to a 5!!!!! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

Rating: 4.5 I've…read morebeen meaning to try this place for a while but decided to try because i passed by and was in the area. It's a small tea shop in providence that offer toppings such as boba and sides like taiwanese chicken. They offer different tea toppings like boba, crystal, jelly, ..etc and also sweetness, milk substitute and ice options. Parking is street parking only and can be difficult to find during busy time. Inside is nicely decorated and has good aesthetic. Seatings are limited so I would not expect to find one unless you are lucky. I guess the name of the place is derived from cha which means tea in Chinese and Daruma who is a founder of zen Buddhism. They have a mascot who looks like Buddha holding a bubble tea. I ended up ordering black milk tea with boba and taiwanese popcorn chicken with seaweed and salt/pepper. Tea came out right away and was pretty good. Good tea flavor but maybe a bit too sweet. Boba is home made and its nice and chewy and no inconsistency. I would do 75% sugar and less ice next time for my liking. Taiwanese popcorn chicken was juicy and flavorful. We also got lucky with seating so we sat down to enjoy their food and drink. Service was good and no issues. Overall the place is pretty good. I think everything was good quality and definitely one of the better tea/fried chicken place around RI. If it was in more convenient location I would definitely come back often but I would likely only stop by if I'm already around the area. I did like the place.

They are also out of ingredients sometimes, including their house made bubbles. On my most recent visit, they messed up my order too. I think the drinks are good, but the service and overall experience is frustrating. My only guess is that I go towards the end of the day (5ish), potentially during a "rush", so I am going to try earlier in the day to see if there is a difference.
