Inside is nicely decorated and has good aesthetic. Seatings are limited so I would not expect to find one unless you are lucky. I guess the name of the place is derived from cha which means tea in Chinese and Daruma who is a founder of zen Buddhism. They have a mascot who looks like Buddha holding a bubble tea. I ended up ordering black milk tea with boba and taiwanese popcorn chicken with seaweed and salt/pepper. Tea came out right away and was pretty good. Good tea flavor but maybe a bit too sweet. Boba is home made and its nice and chewy and no inconsistency. I would do 75% sugar and less ice next time for my liking. Taiwanese popcorn chicken was juicy and flavorful. We also got lucky with seating so we sat down to enjoy their food and drink. Service was good and no issues. Overall the place is pretty good. I think everything was good quality and definitely one of the better tea/fried chicken place around RI. If it was in more convenient location I would definitely come back often but I would likely only stop by if I'm already around the area. I did like the place.

I got the opportunity to chat a bit with one of the Marias and she was very kind, along with the other two team members. The prices are average, with my drink coming out to about $6. One disclaimer is that I don't drink coffee much, so I can't speak about the quality of the coffee taste but overall I loved the drink, mostly because it wasn't too strong or sweet but did have a very creamy taste. In addition, they do add a Maria cookie, which is very nostalgic for me. Although the line was very long, they were very efficient with just 3 people and do get our orders at a timely manner. I liked that they wrap their sandwiches half way so you can hold it. I noticed the cheese on the chicken sandwich was not melted, and it had jalapeños to make it spicy. The bun was nice and soft, and the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. The fries were delicious and had just the right amount of salt. I like sweet, but they are quite heavy with the sweetness so I like to tone it down just a tad. I'm a sucker for their brown sugar milk tea, but their Thai iced tea and taro flavors are good too. I was in recently and they had a strawberry banana flavor that sounded delicious but the call of the brown sugar milk tea was too strong. Next time perhaps! The tapioca pearls themselves are great. I've had some bad ones before, but never here. They are the perfect texture and they taste great. They're also usually a little warm which I love! So fresh. I feel like every time I come here, the decor changes a little. What was once one of those grassy, photo op walls that you see in every trendy place is an interesting Pikachu-inspired mural.
