I was at the Chinese Dragon Boat Race and Taiwanese Festival, when I saw someone with a cup of coffee and a sleeve with "Maria Maria" on it. I had been wanting to try this place for the longest but since it is a cute little truck that travels around the state, I hadn't had the opportunity to organically come across it - until this moment. Although a lot of their drink options sounded delicious, I went with the iced Maria Maria. I got the opportunity to chat a bit with one of the Marias and she was very kind, along with the other two team members. The prices are average, with my drink coming out to about $6. One disclaimer is that I don't drink coffee much, so I can't speak about the quality of the coffee taste but overall I loved the drink, mostly because it wasn't too strong or sweet but did have a very creamy taste. In addition, they do add a Maria cookie, which is very nostalgic for me. Although the line was very long, they were very efficient with just 3 people and do get our orders at a timely manner. I am looking forward to the next time I see them again to try more of their stuff. They do post their schedule of where they will be on their instagram page at the start of each week.

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Maria Maria Coffee Bar and wanted to try it for myself. Maria Maria Coffee Bar is unique, because it brings the cafe experience to you. They post their schedule for the week on instagram on Mondays. I visited the mobile horse trailer or cart on Tuesday, 8/12/25, at Miriam Hospital on the corner of 7th Ave and Summit Ave in Providence, RI. There is street parking available. At 6:30am, they helped their first customer. I was probably about tenth in line. I ordered the coco-quipe latte from their summer menu. This late is infused with rich arequipe and creamy coconut. It is blended with 2% milk (they didn't have whole milk) and crowned with a fluffy vanilla cold foam and a sprinkle of shredded coconut. Unfortunately, I was expecting the arequipe and coconut flavors to be stronger and I do not think I got shredded coconut on top of it. As I drank more of the latte, it did taste better. The staff members were very friendly and talking to all the customers. It didn't take long for my drink to be ready. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try Maria Maria Coffee Bar.

Today was my first time getting a coffee from Maria Maria. You know it is well loved by local customers because the line was long and nobody complained about waiting. Why? Their coffee is THAT good and so much pride goes into all of their drinks. The owners were wonderful. They love what they do for sure. They told me the name comes from their moms---both being named Maria. I loved that! The only issue I had was choosing a drink! All of them sounded amazing! I decided to go with their namesake drink and I loved it. The toffee pieces in it really made it. I can't wait to visit them again! :)

Delicious coffee, super cute truck, and friendly service. What more could you want? We visited the truck at Blackbird Farms this morning and were very impressed. While waiting in the short line, I thought to my self that they probably wouldn't have decaf, but they did! I ordered one of the signature lattes, The Maria Maria, which was a double shot of espresso flavored with caramel, combined with milk, topped with cold foam and toffee crunch, and a Maria cookie. It was literally one of the best coffees I've ever had, and I never would have imagined that I could get something like this in decaf. I'll be following them on IG and I hope that Maria Maria is back in our area soon - can't wait to go there again!

I was attending a veterans resource fair in East Providence, and desperately needed coffee and was not expecting to have the best cup of coffee thus far in the whole state of Rhode Island. Amazing customer service with the very welcoming, mobile coffee, bar, vibe, decently priced and very delicious strong coffee. I drink Deathwish coffee at home with my husband and don't ever really expect that type or quality of coffee when I go out and about and I will say this is the strongest and best coffee I've had in the state of Rhode Island. They do have an Instagram so make sure you follow them to see where they will be at so that you can also experience the great coffee that I had I love toffee and caramel and it was nice that they had an option that had both it is called Maria Maria for not just the name of their coffee bar, but also the specialty drink that I had today. I look forward to going to the cart again in the future wherever it may be.

Delicious coffee on the go! North Providence based coffee truck serves up your traditional coffees and specialty drinks. Owners are very friendly. You can usually find their truck at Captain Stephen Olney Park or the North Providence Library.

To go flasks so that I can have a latte the following day straight out of my fridge!

I stumbled upon Maria Maria at Butterfly Farms near my house back in August of 2024 and my perceptions of lattes changed forever (I had 3 that day because they were so good)! Maria Maria has perfected the art of the perfect latte! The flavor is espresso forward but can still taste the flavor, not too sweet and the ratio of espresso to milk is PERFECTLY balanced! Normally my issues with lattes at other coffee spots (both local and chains) are that they either taste like burnt espresso, just the milk and/or just the sugary flavored syrup. Needless to say I have become a very frequent customer following their pop ups over the past year and will recommend them to anyone who brings up coffee in conversation! They have the best holiday flavors (both unique and traditional). You cannot go wrong with hot or iced - both are fantastic and of equal quality! And when I'm not in the mood for a latte I'm in luck because their cold brew is also my favorite amongst the local coffee market and their refreshers are made to order with a bunch of fruit flavor combos options and available both with and without caffeine! The owners are an amazing local couple who aim to please and work so hard - they always brighten my day when I stop by! HIGHLY recommend anyone go out of their way to check this coffee cart out!

Crazy part is…read morethat not only is it on wheels as a food truck, it's a MUCH bigger than the usual food truck you're accustomed to. Having been around this long and operating at crazy hours that obviously cater to late night crawlers and drunken fools, you must have built some solid grit to be a dedicated feeding hole around a university/college town. The staff greeted me fondly as I walked through the door. If you've never seen this on TV or online before, you wouldn't have imagined a diner within a truck designed that way. You wouldn't have been able to tell the difference from them vs a small restaurant in a city. TV, lights, posters and everything anything restaurant that you expect was there...except for the chairs this particular night. I'm guessing they removed it to better handle crowds coming through...after all, too many people dining there, lining up, and trying to order food is a classic fire hazard 101 within such a small space. I am glad to have a chance to visit this time around. I've been wanting to try it for the longest time since seeing it on Man vs Food. However, I don't know why but I just wasn't craving a burger in the moment. Maybe if I did order the burger, this would have ended up as a 5-star review based on how most people rave about it. But for now, I'll glad to still say that I'm a true fan. The Haven Dog with celery salt was simple and a quick fixer-upper for anyone slightly hungry in the moment. The steak and cheese sandwich, however, is a loaded mother-f-fer with a LOT of sliced beef atop a TINY bun with some shrooms and peppers. All I could think about as I unwrapped it was someone trying a skinny jeans three sizes down, lol. Check them out!

The great thing is he describes the food so well that his descriptions are on point. For example, I didn't know what a cheese curd was so he described it... I was intrigued and decided to order it on the side and it was on point. He couldn't have described it better. I think that's really important in this industry... to be able to get accurate answers to Qs, especially when we're dabbling into something new. So my friend and I both got burgers. He got the dirty burger (with a dough boy on the side) and I got the big mac. I can't speak much for my friend's burger other than it looking and being HUGE and heavy... it was definitely protein heavy and I know he had to sit at home and enjoy it because it would've collapsed in his car lol. I, on the other hand, went to a park to sit outside and enjoy my "big mac." It was delicious. Nearly every aspect of it was seasoned and they worked well together... The mac n cheese was well cooked/seasoned, the breading used for it was seasoned well, the burger meat was not only well seasoned but also cooked exactly as I ordered it. A+!   I was so stuffed from the burger that I couldn't eat all my cheese curds. Fortunately, because they're "crunchier" than mozzarella sticks, I was able to enjoy the rest later when they were cold. I will DEFINITELY be going back to try out more of their menu items. A huge perk for me is their location (on Valley Street near Price Rite). I like how it's an easy to get to location with ample parking.  I literally cannot think of any cons. The only small "con" that I wouldn't take a star off is that the food was so good that I am confident people would definitely want to eat this food after a club/party yet this truck closes at 10 PM. Maybe in a few years they can extend employment to have someone take over the trunk in a night shift. I am confident business would be booming for them as their delicious food would help people sober up after a great night!!

I recently had my first experience with Polo Loco (I know, I'm a little late to the game). They were at the Jaws Movies on the Block screening last night, and I couldn't resist trying a couple tacos even though I'd TECHNICALLY already eaten dinner ;-) I tried the PBJ (pork, black beans, jalapenos, cheese, sweet chili sauce) and the Napalm (chicken, jalapenos, Napalm sauce, cheese, Southwest sour cream). Both tacos are a play on a well-known combo, and both are successful for an Americanized taco experience. First off, you have a choice of soft or hard tacos. I went with soft, and got these babies served on smallish flour tortillas. An authentic taco is served typically on corn, but flour is also quite tasty in this case. The PBJ is pulled pork sandwich meets taco. It has a slight sweetness from the sauce and the pork, with a bit of spice from the jalapenos. It's quite tasty, but also a bit drippy, so be careful :) The Napalm reminds me of Buffalo chicken. It's chicken and a spicy "Napalm" sauce which is pretty much a version of Buffalo sauce. The cheese and Southwest sour cream combine to remind me of blue cheese dressing without the actual blue cheese. That creaminess along with the Napalm sauce is definitely reminiscent of Buffalo chicken, and yields a very tasty taco. I see lots of love here for the Grande Tacos, and perhaps next time I'll try one of those. I also know the Green Monstah tacos are popular, and maybe when I'm hungrier I'll grab one of those too. I'd happily visit Poco Loco on future occasions. Although their tacos are not traditional Mexican in style, they are very tasty and satisfying. They're also very cheap at $2 a pop! Two thumbs up for sure!
