I got the penny nuggs which came with their chicken nuggets topped with jalapeno ranch sauce, scallions, bacon bits, cheese, cilantro, and street corn. The flavor was good but chicken nuggets were dry and toppings and sauces were overwhelming. It seemed to be similar concept as loaded fries but chicken nuggets instead. Service was good and wait was not too bad about 15min or so. Overall it's an ok place. I think the idea is interesting but it was sad that their chicken nuggets were dry. I know it's gluten free and they use white meat but if they are selling chicken nuggets as their main menu i would expect them to be good on its own. I feel that topping and sauce was overwhelming and chicken nuggets themselves did not shine.

The hot dog was tasty but on the small side for the price. The braised bacon on my sandwich almost tasted like pastrami. Very greasy and salty and I didn't enjoy the strongly smoked flavor. It changed the flavor profile to the point where it didn't remind me of a Cuban sandwich. I wish they'd still had salt potatoes because I'd have loved to try them. If I ate here again, I'd probably try a burger or stick to the hot dog.

I'm from Chicago so I'm use to the inside being Lechon (pork) but they are ground beef like the ones I find in San Diego where I'm normally stationed. I ordered Pasteles and I was very happy again with the masa and also the meat ratio inside (this made this whole three weeks so much easier!) the special for the day was yellow rice with pork shoulder both were cook outstanding! How the hell do you run a food truck and forget the bread? This is the second time I have seen this happen with this truck. The sandwiches are all bread and very little cheese and other items in them. Definitely not worth the prices they are asking. I can make a better grilled cheese at home for alot less money.

The Banh Mi sandwich had cold cut Vietnamese hams, pickled carrot and daikon, cucumber, jalapeño, cilantro, mayo and pate on a Vietnamese style baguette. I really enjoyed their fries, it was crispy and a good portion. The Banh Mi sandwich was okay, not bad. The baguette was fresh and held all the components together. I wish it had more pickled carrot and daikon and I personally prefer pork belly Banh Mi because it has more flavor. It was nice to have a cold sandwich on a hot humid day though. Service was great. After ordering, we were given a pager to indicate when food is ready. In about 10 minutes, our food was ready. There is also a 3.75% fee for credit card usage.

I recently had my first experience with Polo Loco (I know, I'm a little late to the game). They were at the Jaws Movies on the Block screening last night, and I couldn't resist trying a couple tacos even though I'd TECHNICALLY already eaten dinner ;-) I tried the PBJ (pork, black beans, jalapenos, cheese, sweet chili sauce) and the Napalm (chicken, jalapenos, Napalm sauce, cheese, Southwest sour cream). Both tacos are a play on a well-known combo, and both are successful for an Americanized taco experience. First off, you have a choice of soft or hard tacos. I went with soft, and got these babies served on smallish flour tortillas. An authentic taco is served typically on corn, but flour is also quite tasty in this case. The PBJ is pulled pork sandwich meets taco. It has a slight sweetness from the sauce and the pork, with a bit of spice from the jalapenos. It's quite tasty, but also a bit drippy, so be careful :) The Napalm reminds me of Buffalo chicken. It's chicken and a spicy "Napalm" sauce which is pretty much a version of Buffalo sauce. The cheese and Southwest sour cream combine to remind me of blue cheese dressing without the actual blue cheese. That creaminess along with the Napalm sauce is definitely reminiscent of Buffalo chicken, and yields a very tasty taco. I see lots of love here for the Grande Tacos, and perhaps next time I'll try one of those. I also know the Green Monstah tacos are popular, and maybe when I'm hungrier I'll grab one of those too. I'd happily visit Poco Loco on future occasions. Although their tacos are not traditional Mexican in style, they are very tasty and satisfying. They're also very cheap at $2 a pop! Two thumbs up for sure!

The food is amazing! The people who own it are really nice. They have picnic tables for outside…read moreseating or take out. The only thing I don't understand is that they're not very good about consistency. They're not open any particular day . When the hours on google say one thing and plan a night out with the kids. When we arrive they're closed. Kinda frustrating for parents and kiddos. The new location isn't exactly easy to get to as far as parking. That was another issue, we parked , walked to the box and turned back around with two disappointed boys.
