    Stir Fry Noodles

Nanu's is a great new-ish addition to the area. Portion sizes are huge and quite tasty! The Nanu dumplings are definitely some of the tastiest I've had and worth a stop. This is more of a take out place, but there is seating available too. However, if you are eating in- all of your food options are served in take out containers. While this is really helpful for any leftovers (given the portion size, you will have left overs), it is a bit unexpected.

Excellent take out food! Everything comes in take out food containers which makes it conviene for those who never finish dishes~ seems like they have a fast food truck they take around Rhode Island so this is their physical location. The place is small with limited seating. No air conditioner inside, so it's hard to enjoy food while sweating in the middle of summer weather. We sat near a fan, which provide little help in the heat. Probably more comfortable in the Fall and winter season. I had stir fried noodles which were delicious and savory. The noodles looked amazing with the toppings in top. The fried chicken were on a regular plate, and not in a take out box, which was ok because those tend to go fast into our mouths~ I was left satisfied and full! Food was a bit greasy, so be mindful~ Servers were prompt and kind~ our food came out quickly since we were the only customers and we arrived at opening time. It's very convo take out food here in Warwick~

AMAZING. We have only ever eaten from their food truck and, boy, the food is PHENOMENAL. Their dumplings (every flavor) melt in your mouth, they come loaded with toppings, and are always amazing. The bento boxes and udon noodles are a great meal to share. They are quick to make the food and we have regularly followed them to their weekly spots, like Long Live. The workers are friendly and give great advice on their favorites. We would love to see their full service spot. Absolute favorite food truck! Hope they continue go to lots of great spots like sunny days at food truck Fridays.

Wow, just wow! I can see this being my go-to Asian fusion place. Their menu had a lot of vegetarian options, and dessert drinks too. My only complaint (and it's hardly a complaint) was that they only had steamed vegetable dumplings on the menu, and personally I prefer fried dumplings. Still, there is no other place around that even has veggie dumplings! I got veggie dumplings and stir fry noodles with tofu and both dishes are large portions, so I have tons of leftover food I'll be eating for the next few days! I also got a Thai tea which was absolutely delicious, although I'm not hard to please when it comes to sweet drinks! They have a lot of milk tea options, so I'll be going back to try the rest of them! Although, they have no tapioca balls on their menu online, only fruit jelly and popping boba. Personally I hope they get tapioca because I like the texture and it would have gone great in my Thai tea! Overall, this was such a great takeout experience and I'm definitely coming back! Edit: I've gotten the tapioca balls in my drink here since this review. So, they DO have that here! It's still not on their online menu, but they do have it! :) it's good too! So if you want to stop in for some boba, you definitely can!

Dont let its small size fool you, Nanu has big BIG restaurant energy. I read every review on Google and based my order on what other people said was delicious. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to ramen or noodles and the like, but the photos on the Nanu website had me drooling and ready to try everything- even the tofu which I dont like We ordered pork dumplings, Tom Yum soup, crispy sweet wings, chicken fried rice and the chicken Shan noodles. The dumplings and soup were the standard basic starters. The crispy wings were (salty) wing dings with a nice spicy and sweet sauce on them. The fried rice was your basic chicken fried rice, but it's a lot! The same with the Shan noodles- all the toppings were great but they give you a lot of starch with a hefty serving of noodles. Over all the food was plentiful- you'll definitely take a bunch home. I would also say there's nothing bad about this food, it all depends on what you personally like- but the pros were that prices were fair, quantity was big and the customer service was wonderful. The folks working there were so welcoming and nice. I would certainly go back to try something different on the menu and maybe the boba teas and the milk drinks.

Flavors were new and unique but not overbearing. A delicate balance of savory and spicy while not overly spicy. The textures in the salad were insane. Chewy and crunchy and just a delight to enjoy. The rainbow noodles came with a sipping broth which truly elevated the dish. A handwritten note saying to enjoy a sip every two bites was just a lovely personal touch. 5/5 - cannot wait to enjoy in person!

It was my first time trying Burmese food, so I had a ton of questions and the server answered with my questions with a smile! I ordered the mango salad which consists of fresh shredded mango with roasted peanut, garlic sauce, lettuce, onions and tomatoes. It was my first time trying this and it won't be my last! It was a great blend of sweet and savory. It was tasty and fresh! I also really enjoyed the Chicken Plata. Plata is a layered, flaky griddled flatbread similar to Indian paratha or roti. I've had roti so I had a feeling on what it would taste like. Their Plata was hot, soft and flaky! And the chicken was tender!!! I cannot wait to return and try more items off their menu, but I will be back for the Chicken Plata!

At first glance, you don't see much from Elmwood Ave, but veer to the right and everything opens up on the left, with a parking lot in the back. Ornate statues lead you to the entrance, and once inside you are instantly greeted with bold colors and beautiful art everywhere. I wanted to take the opportunity to try some Cambodian food, so after some quick research, I opted for Beef Lok Lak, which happened to be one of the lunch combos. I chose fried rice and nime chow for my lunch options and settled back to wait for my feast. They bring you a complementary pot of hot tea, which I enjoyed. I believe it was a straightforward unsweetened black tea. Perfect for me. Before long the rangoons arrived. I literally said "wow" when the runner set my plate down. Beautiful golden brown, small bubbles visible all over the outside, promising crispy goodness. And it delivered. What I didn't expect what the slight chewiness to the wrapper that enhanced the experience. The filling was super creamy and delicious, but I prefer my rangoons with scallions as well. However, that didn't stop me from enjoying every bite. Then my lunch came. The beef was perfectly cooked, the dressing tangy and peppery. The nime chow was herby and super fresh as it should be. And the rice had this extra depth of flavor that made me think of tomato paste? A lovely addition the dish. I had a great meal here and the rangoons are definitely worth having! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their menu!!

The menu had a little bit of everything ranging from Thai to sushi to Vietnamese, a very fusion type feel to it. The service was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Three items were ordered and tried. They consisted of the sushi nachos ($14.95), bao buns with chicken katsu ($12.95) and the Mystic River roll ($19.95). The nachos had diced tuna, sliced avocado, Pico de Gallo, topped with spicy avocado sauce and tobiko and served over fried wonton skins. There was a nice portion here. I thought they were going to be small wontons, but this was a pleasant surprise. There was a great ratio of flavors, and I really enjoyed the small dicing of everything. The bao buns were topped with sliced cucumbers, spring onions, carrots, and some type of sweet hoisin sauce it appeared. The chicken was very crispy and tasty. The bun was okay. It was a little tough. I did enjoy the sweet factor from the sauce to pair with the hot and crunchy chicken. The Mystic River roll had tuna, salmon, mango, as well as avocado topped with spicy mayo and was wrapped in a rice wrapper. This was alright. There was a lot of mayo present, which took away from the fish flavor, but it still was not bad. The rice wrapper was an interesting choice, but overall, okay. Will I go back? Probably.

We walked into a space with a warmth that you notice immediately, with fish tanks along the walls and butterfly art details that give it a coziness that feels genuine rather than decorated for the sake of it. The lighting is soft and the overall atmosphere made it easy to settle in for a longer meal. The menu is expansive and covers a lot of ground, which works in its favor for groups with different tastes. We ordered the Thai iced tea, one of the better versions we have found in Boston, rich and creamy without being cloyingly sweet, and worth ordering on its own. Beyond that, the menu offers plenty of Thai classics, and the kitchen seems capable of turning out a wide range of dishes. That said, not everything landed equally. The chicken wings were a disappointment, coming out without the crispiness or seasoning that would make them worth ordering when there are stronger options available elsewhere on the menu. The mango sticky rice, despite sounding like a natural finish to the meal, fell short of what it should be, with the rice texture and the balance between the mango and coconut milk not quite coming together the way it does at spots that treat it as a signature. The prices ran a little higher than we expected, which added to the slight disappointment of the uneven dishes. Overall, Brown Sugar Cafe is a nice place with genuine warmth, but our visit left us feeling a bit let down by the food outside of the Thai iced tea. We would have to go back and try more of the menu to see if it was just a one off occurrence or a pattern. For now, we recommend the tea and the atmosphere, but we would choose carefully on the food.
