The restaurant is hidden inside a Plaza with a lot of other restaurants and has a smaller space so you may miss it if you aren't looking for it. It wasn't too busy inside when I came in but the place itself is cute and clean. I have been here a couple of times before and sometimes they sell out of their dessert products early so be aware of that. I ordered the panang curry which is derived from their red curry and I loved it. I asked for a 1 in spiciness but it was still pretty spicy so it may not be good for people who do not like spice at all. However, I liked it a lot! The rice portion seemed a little small but I was able to grab the soup as leftovers and bring it home to mix my own chicken for lunch the next day. The waitress was nice and sweet and did not rush me. Overall, I enjoyed my experience!

So amazing every time! I have been here four times and it's always great! The ambiance is not anything special, but the servers are always so kind and the food is always yummy! The calamari is crispy and we always order it! We always get shrimp pad Thai and the shrimp is never overcooked! This time we ordered tom yum soup and it was yum! Tangy and flavorful, but I wouldn't order the soup as my main meal. Highly recommend! Sorry for the unappetizing pictures

I used to go to this spot before covid when it was Wei Mei and always enjoyed it. Then Thai Elephants opened up and I just checked it out recently. Now that I've been, I'll definitely be going back. We stopped in mid afternoon for a late lunch or maybe early dinner. Due to the time, there was only a couple other tables seated. With Thai food, I normally have my go to favorites, but we decided to mix it up and share a few things instead... now I have new favorites. We started with the chicken satay and pork larb salad which were both packed with flavor. I loved the sauces that came with the satay and the larb was amazing. Then we shared the wonton soup which was loaded with wontons and fresh vegetables. I could eat that soup every day and be happy. I can't wait to come back and get it again.

The restaurant is chill and clean. They have a lot of takeout traffic here. We were seated quickly and given menus. It was rainy so I was in the mood for soup. I ordered the duck noodle soup and my friend opted for the Pad Thai. The food arrived quickly, and the portions were huge. My soup was delicious, comforting, and filling. The Pad Thai was cooked perfectly and the sauce was creamy but not overly wet. It was a nice treat to end our time in Charleston.

Bright, clean and welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted by a friendly hostess/waitress who immediately provided menus and beverages. The service at Thai elephants was over the top. One server took care of the entire restaurant and she was so eager to provide excellent service. She was actually running discreetly back and forth to the kitchen to get us all the things we needed. The food was fresh and delicious. The wonton soup was my favorite filled with fresh vegetables and pork dumplings. Thai Elephants will be added to my regular stops when in the area and I'm anxious to try some of the other traditional Thai dishes on the menu. I can't brag enough on the exceptional service and cuisine.

Thai elephants is one of my favorite local restaurants to go to for Thai food that is genuine and plentiful. The service is always top-notch and this new location is bigger than the other two locations!

Looking for a Chinese buffet today, the map gave me a buffet choice of Naan. I'm very happy that I tried it, because it was truly amazing. Not just the flavors in the taste, this Indian buffet with straight up only Indian food was delicious. I will now drive home in a near comatose state in need of a nap. If you are on a health kick, and you are only eating one meal a day (OMAD), which I am trying to get into the routine of, I can see myself coming here again for my one meal!

The Chicken Vindaloo had good spice, but the portion was disappointing -- I only got three pieces of chicken and two pieces of potato. The app tacos appetizer also weren't the same as they used to be. They previously featured a fried wonton wrapper with Chicken saucy Shizusan chicken, but whatever changes were made really missed the mark and ruined what used to be a favorite. Overall, the service could have been much better. I'd really love to see the restaurant return to the previous menu and quality. We won't be back.

The Thai Tea was made perfectly imo and was a generous portion. The Pad Thai had plenty of protein, the aforementioned excellent noodles, and just the right balance of peanut. Location is good as it seems to be in the thick of things on King Street. I'm not sure you'd come to Charleston looking for Asian food. However, if you have an inch that needs scratching, King Street Food will deliver.

I sneaked a peak at the menu on FB before the dinner and was dead set on the lobster ramen. After confidently ordering with merely a glance at the menu (my mind was made up in advance), I was promptly notified that the ramen did not contain lobster, but rather was a lobster broth base. I had a brief moment of disappointment, but quickly changed my tune as I realized I was still getting ramen. The ramen came out pretty quickly and I've got to give it up to the guys from 2 Nixons. Ramen is a delicate and complicated dish. To be able to execute it so well in an array of make shift kitchens all around town is pretty impressive. After tasting the lobster broth, I lost any resemblance of disappointment I may have had. In this giant bowl, you could also find the regular suspects of pork confit, a soft boiled egg, pickles, corn, scallions, and mushrooms. Everything was perfect together and I was tempted to get a side order of noodles to keep this dish alive, but honestly I was full after digging to the bottom.

Although the menu is limited (understandably), the dishes themselves are so packed full of flavor and yumminess that it more than makes up for the lack of options. I tried the Okonomiyaki which he did in a waffle iron, and it was so tasty! I wasn't really sure what to expect, but it blew me away. I would best describe it as Japanese comfort food with an American twist (thanks to the waffle iron). It was topped with all sorts of goodies (sorry I don't remember the details right now, but I want to say there was like brussels sprouts and cabbage and bacon (I mean, come on, so good!). The Kimchi Burger was quite a contender as well. A really thick, seasoned beef patty, cooked to a perfect medium rare, oozing with sharp cheddar cheese sauce, homemade pickles and kimchi. I think I may have blacked out for a second after taking my first bite. I know his menu changes often, and you can bet I'll be back to try out some of the ramen in the future!
