Nothing better for a cold night than having a streaming bowl of Pho and Pho Lucky is the perfect spot It is located on a stip mall with parking which makes it convenient and although the venue is not really big, we were able to get a table pretty quick after ordering at the counter. The best Vietnamese food I've had in Charleston! Saw Pho Lucky open in Mt. Pleasant and was itching to try. I have pretty high expectations for Viet food and all the places in Charleston so far haven't made a lasting impression on me. I came with my friend and we ordered the bun bo hue, pho dac biet, and a thai boba tea. The bun bo hue is full of flavor, has a spicy kick, and comes with lots of toppings (always enjoy pork hock). I just wish they had pork blood as well, but the dish itself is so good and definitely hits the spot. The pho broth is aromatic and well-seasoned, and the boba is tasty and chewy. It is pho good. Genuine Vietnamese family run restaurant with freshly crafted classics. The emphasis is on fresh flavors with basil, mint, chilis and cilantro. Wonderful pho with beef and chicken broths wonderful authentic. We jumped in multiple times and skipped pictures. The portions are generous and provides for kick the next day. Special summer rolls (cha siu pork, pork sausage and shrimp) were also good. The sauce is little tangy. Vietnamese coffee was rich and strong. My kiwi green tea (half sugar) with rainbow bubbles is totally recommended. The parking is easy because it's in a strip mall. So happy to have a boba place closer in Mount Pleasant. It's in the perfect spot for anyone on either side of Bowman Rd. I personally have only had their boba tea and milk tea which were both phenomenal. I recommend the strawberry milk tea with tapioca boba. This is a small -maybe 8 tables- venue and we stopped in for lunch and ordered at the counter. We took a number, sat until the staff brought each dish and ate in. Not fancy with minimal ambience, but the staff were very nice and helpful. The summer spring rolls were large and fresh with plenty of sauce to dip as finger food. The beef/brisket pho was pricey but plentiful and shareable. The broth was tasty with lots of rice and thin sliced meat and noodles, and bean sprouts and lime on the side. We had plenty left to bring home! The Banh-mi pork sandwich with fresh cucumber, thin sliced carrots and cilantro had just enough jalopeno slices to make it interesting; The bread was so fresh it made the whole sandwich delicious!
