Today's Special 11/18 Tuesday
Harold N.

We have been here so many times and every visit was a great experience. Met the owner. She was so nice friendly and attentive. It's a tight fit inside so get in early or be prepared to sit outside at the picnic tables. Try everything!! All the food is great. Haven't receive a plate we didn't love. Almost had everything on the menu. Don't miss out on this hidden gem in the middle of West Ashley behind Santi's.

Pho & Red curry

Love the service here! They're always so friendly. Everyyime I've been here (I've been about 4 times), they've been consistent with great service, amazing food, speed of service, etc. This time I had the red chicken curry with medium heat ... Yum! My kids each had pho and really enjoyed it. We will be back!

Bun Bo hue

It's hard finding good pho in Charleston, but this place has it! I decided to try something new and got the Bun Bo hue. It was a mix between pho and a noodle bowl. Lots of flavor! They have the chili oil and Szechuan oil that they bring to the table along with extra hoisin and Sriracha. I even got the Thai milk Boba tea, which came in a large, hard plastic to go cup. Inside there are about 10 tables and even bar top along the windows. I think they might be a little understaffed or the staff is just newer, but I would love to come back here for takeout.

Vietnamese Curry

Great Vietnamese place just outside of downtown Charleston. Tried the Bun Rieu, Vietnamese Curry & Pho. All the dishes were great, well seasoned and hits the spot during a coldish winter day. The outdoor seating is practically in the parking lot, but you are not here for the ambiance, just good food. Service was friendly and prompt.

Came in the other night and it was pretty crowded, with people waiting inside the door to takeout orders, etc. The space is cute, but definitely on the small side. The staff was friendly and after a couple of minutes, we were seated on a picnic table outside, as it was full inside. Server came quickly to take our order - the menu is pretty large with a nice variety of options to choose from. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and medium spice. Order was correct, didn't take too long for it to arrive. It was good, but definitely a little higher than medium on the spice level. It wasn't the best that I've had, but it was solid. I would go back and would like to try another dish, even though Pad See Ew is one of my faves!

new space in West Ashely featuring Thai and Vietnamese food with very food lunch specials. The Pad Thai and curry are solid and they can make an authentic Thai hot meal, which many places in Charleston cannot. Seems to be a family opened business with great attention to detail and the owner came to our table personally to make sure everything was good. Food came out fast and it was great for lunch. Will be coming back and check out the dinner menu as well.

Tonkatsu ramen

Absolutely loved the broth in their tonkatsu ramen! Warm, creamy, buttery smooth, and flavorful broth that compliments the usual contents of pork, noodles, egg, etc. Our server was also awesome and accommodating with getting an outdoor table, because the only downside for me was how smokey it was in there and my sensitivity to it. Maybe some improved interior ventilation would be a boon for inside dining. Don't let that discourage you from enjoying anything here because take-outs seemed like a very popular option as well. Definitely one of the best bowls of ramen in West Ashley.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food in a cozy storefront restaurant with table service and wine, beer and sake' available. Freshly made to order appetizers like vegetable spring rolls, pho and papaya salad are great starters and noodle dishes, entree's with jasmine rice, as well as desserts make a complete lunch or dinner. Service is good, and the place is very busy all the time.

Pad Thai

Absolutely wonderful authentic Thai food in West Ashley. Very reasonable lunch prices. Super friendly staff / owners. What else can you ask for? I had the pad Thai with tofu and I appreciate that they ask how you would like the tofu: steamed or fried (fried please!). They also asked about spice level and I had the hottest, which wasn't too hot for me but I really do enjoy spicy food. The owners / staff were very friendly and made sure everything went well. I'm looking forward to trying the other lunch specials like the green or red curry or the pad see ew. Also the pho looked great so that's probably worth trying too!

Went in to get pho with my boyfriend and it was incredible! It is a small location with a clean and cosy atmosphere. The service was exceptional and the waiter and staff were so friendly and welcoming. My new favorite pho spot 10/10

So I had to go for an eat in experience after trying take out. And it truly is a better experience. While there's room for take out on this menu, a lot of items are better enjoyed fresh at the restaurant. The drinks are next level good. The servers combine hustle with good suggestions and warmth. The dining room is seat yourself and small- but clean and comfortable. Good music too and fresh flowers. Picnic tables on sidewalk. The Thai tea was 10 outta 10. Arnold Palmer w fresh tea and lemonade was also on point. Pad Thai was solid. Chili tray was fantastic- those chilis in fish sauce took everything up a couple notches! I plan on many return trips here. My only note was that the rice noodles in the bun thit nuong were overcooked. Grateful for this new spot!

Food was mediocre. Not the best I have had but by no means was it bad. It was good. Services was kind and quick. No chopsticks provided or offered. The spring rolls came with such little sauce it was very odd and disappointing. But the spring rolls themselves were fresh and light. Would I go again? Yes. Would I crave their pho and only their pho, not from my experience. But I'll try any food place 3 times.

Beef Pad Thai.... OMG Delicious

Even though this place has been open for less than 2 weeks, Ms. Tee runs a wonderful establishment. From the customer service, to the food, This place Will make you want to eat out at least 3 times a week. Its also nice when they remember your face. Aside from the small seating area, which makes it intimate in my opinion, my only knock would be the one restroom. Aside from that, This is a place that goes into my top 5 of Charleston SC restaurants.

The service was amazing too--staff were so attentive and welcoming, checking in just the right amount without being overbearing. I wish I'd gone twice during the trip that's how much I loved it. The Thai Tea was made perfectly imo and was a generous portion. The Pad Thai had plenty of protein, the aforementioned excellent noodles, and just the right balance of peanut. Location is good as it seems to be in the thick of things on King Street. I'm not sure you'd come to Charleston looking for Asian food. However, if you have an inch that needs scratching, King Street Food will deliver.

Everything was absolutely fantastic, but the lamb dumplings and noodles knocked it out of the park. Everything but the green beans had some level of spice, but nothing intolerable. We did come in on a busy Saturday night at prime dinner time so we had to wait about 40 mins, but I knew there would be a wait so that's fine. Also, once you sit down, you don't wait for anything. Every time we ordered, the food came out in a few minutes or less. For our first round, we started with the a pot of jasmine tea, cucumber salad and the crab rangoon. The cucumber salad seems like such a simple dish, but the mix of flavor they add makes it a refreshing bite between each course... this is a must have. The crag rangoon was some of the best we've ever had and we loved it so much that we ordered a second plate. There are only three per plate so order accordingly. The tea was great but let it steep longer than you think you need to for maximum flavor. Next we did a round fo dumplings. Obviously we had the pork soup dumplings which were fantastic. I wanted to get more, but we had also ordered the sichuan chili wonton and the pan seared pork dumpling. While I enjoyed both of these, I would probably try some of the others on the menu next time. We finished with two entrees. One was the udon noodles with chicken and the other was the beef and broccoli. I love udon noodles for their bouncy texture and this portion was plentiful. The beef and broccoli was so tender and delicious. This would also be a must order item and make sure to get a side of white rice to go with it. While the robot didn't come anywhere near our table, the human servers were all amazing and made sure we had everything we need at a moments notice. They really run a tight ship here and can turn tables while providing excellent service all at once. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
