A fantastic new southeast Asian restaurant offering dishes from Laos, Viet Nam, and Thailand. Currie puffs were delicious, soft inside, crisp but not over fried on the outside. I also got the basil rice rolls, easy and delicious, very crunchy and flavorful with a yummy peanut sauce. And the cashew, with tofu was also very tasty with a delicious brown sauce, plenty of veggies and flavor, not too heavy with oil too.

I was greeted instantly by the hostess and she answered my questions regarding the menu. Also, any question she didn't know the answer to, she quickly sought out an answer. (I appreciate that!!) As I waited on my to go order, I sat inside to take in the decor and loved the eclectic vibe and the marrying of cultures. My food was delicious and still piping hot after I made a stop before returning home.

I really want to like this place... for some reason I'd be lieing to myself if I said I was happy…read morewith what I got. I was actually pretty excited about this place because I was craving Thai food. I saw the pictures and it looked legit. I ordered the Panang curry thinking it was a safe choice... This is for to-go and I was so excited to get to my hotel and eat it (8 min drive). When I got back- I was alittle disappointed that it wasn't in a more bowl-like or cup container. It also looked a bit different than other pics of Panang curry I saw on yelp- it wasn't as soupy or saucy as I had hoped. - minor annoyance was that they also didn't have brown rice. But Understandable since br rice isn't really Thai. - Another minor thing was I requested a 7/10 on spice level... I know spice is really subjective but this thing tasted more like a 1 or 2. I saw on the reciept the cashier got the order right... It also seemed wierd that I was asked if I wanted utensils... I would think for any to-go it'd be standard. I don't know if I would come back here... I saw another Thai/Lao or Filipino place down the street that I probably should have went to. That one was questionable because it looked like they had too much on their menu...

We ordered thai tea, beef pho, and chicken pad see eww and it was delicious. The pho was a rich beef broth, very hot temp wise and pretty filling. We asked for mild, but it didn't seem like it had any spice so we will up the spice next time. The chicken pad see eww was so good! Very flavorful and filling, definitely will order again. It was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back!

Since it was a late dinner for us I wanted to give this place a try. I placed and order over the phone and asked if they had any GF options since hubby has celiac. They ensured me that the pad Thai, and green curry were both GF. I also got a small cup of the Tom Yum soup. I was actually happy they had the small option because most places I've been to only have one size and it's always large and around $15 or more. My total was $37 for these 3 things which I felt was very fair for Summerville. Pad Thai - 4/5 this one was on the sweeter side with some nice acidity. The noodles were just slighter cooked too much for me as I prefer it a bit more al dente. But they did a good job caramelizing the noodles and the chicken was tender. I found the flavor to be pleasant especially for being gluten free. Green curry- 4/5 flavors were there but I just needed a bit more depth and texture. It felt lighter but not in a bad way, still enjoyed it and the veggies were cooked well. Tom Yum - 4/5 I do enjoy this soup with a bit more tanginess. It did have a lighter taste and didn't have that potent tum yum flavor I was looking for so I added a squeeze of lime to it. Still a beautiful soup and enjoyed that. The owner was very nice and told me everything is made fresh which I appreciated. It's a small place but very cute and quaint. Kind of took me back to the small shops and restaurants I've been to in Bangkok, it had a homey feeling. Saw a lot of other good options on the menu, will come back again!

A Clean, Cozy Restaurant With Great Food…read more Myself and my husband have really enjoyed our experiences at Pho Bowl. The food is delicious, and the restaurant has a lovely, cozy atmosphere that makes it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. The wait staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant feels very clean including the bathrooms, which I always appreciate. My favorites are the green Thai curry, the matcha bubble tea, and the Thai iced tea. Everything I've tried has been flavorful and well made. Definitely a place I look forward to coming back to.

I had been looking forward to trying the beef stew, and I can honestly say it did not disappoint. It was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and order it again. I would definitely return to try more dishes because everything was well-seasoned and full of flavor. My meal was delicious, and every bite was packed with meat, which I really appreciated. The service could have been a little better, as my daughter's meal was forgotten even though she's a child. However, aside from that, we had a great time and truly enjoyed the experience. I look forward to coming back to try even more items on the menu.
