About 10 1/2 years ago I took my newly adopted dog there for an exam. There,was no one there but us, me, my ex, and my dog. They took my dog in the back and I kept hearing a dog scream. I finally went into the back and saw my dog muzzled, with 6 people holding her down. When I asked what was going on I was told they were trying to get her blood which I never authorized. I became upset and told them to get the _____off my dog and to give me my dog. They claimed my dog was going to bleed out if I took the dog. I alsovtold them what I would do if my dog bled out! My dog was seen on 04/11/26. A cytology was performed and he was diagnosed with both a yeast and bacterial infection. I was prescribed Mometamax. A follow up appointment was scheduled, on the day of the appointment, the office staff called and asked if I could give up my time slot for another family as they needed to euthanize their animal, which of course I did. No one ever called to reschedule. Fast foward, my dog has another ear infection and I called the vet to ask for a refill for the medication. I was first informed by an Office Manager, not the vet, that I would need to bring my dog back to determine if it was bacterial or yeast infection. Why would that matter since it was both last time and I was prescribed this medication? I asked to speak with a vet, someone who has medical training. I was informed someone would call me back. More than 24 hours later, no one had called. I called the office again and was informed the vet would call me back "in between appointments." Once the vet finally called back, she spit out the same rhetoric as the officer manager. I explained my dog was traumatized the first time and was not having the same procedure done twice in a two month period. Just looking to make money off poor suffering animals. read more

I just got back from the Ani-Mall groomer. Oh my gosh! This place keeps getting better and better. I have two Shetland sheepdogs. The oldest needed grooming so badly. Now I can't believe it's the same dog. The staff are all so nice and helpful. I can't say enough good things about Ani-Mall. read more

This is the vet hospital. I had to put my dog down and they didn't even sedate her! They gave her something and she walked around non stop having an anxiety attack then she fell and laid there as tho she couldn't move, she was breathing looking at me and after a few min they came in and gave her a shot...in 2mins I watched the life leave her eyes... I'm forever scared and tramatized by what I saw! I will never forgive them for torturing her and now me! STAY AWAY! read more

I am that crazy pet owner. I worked in the veterinary field for many years before hanging up my hat. But my animals I love them so much. Send me into a tizzy if they're not feeling good. they don't only treat your beloved pet, but they help the humans as well. I can't tell you how wonderful Ani-mall is with my pets and myself. I seriously wouldn't go anywhere else. They diagnosis are right on track. And they give you options for treatment. My last experience was my dog Barnaby and he had a slight hiccup after surgery he was throwing up and drooling profusely plus his incision looked a little raw. They took him right in. Come to find out medication for pain was upsetting his tummy and the redness and swelling was totally normal. Our animals can't talk and tell us what's wrong so of course I was nervous to make sure he was ok...therefore making my pet anxious. ( pets can feel our emotions. That's why after surgery or procedure. You just leave your animal alone to heal ). So not only did they help my little guy but they helped to calm me with the knowledge that he was just fine. So my nervousness would no longer rub off on him. They told me at any point I could take pictures and send them to the office and a part of the veterinary team would look them over and call me for treatment or what next step to take. That is absolutely wonderful in my book. He is resting comfortably and he looks absolutely great. Trust me that I would not be going back next month to get my cat spayed if I didn't trust their team. I think their prices are very fair, especially for what wonderful care and compassion your pet gets. I totally recommend this facility for all of your pet needs. Whether it be grooming, picking up food, or the knowledge that the staff has. The front desk is so helpful and knowledgeable. This review is for the boarding not the hospital. This past holiday weekend our dog was in the facility from Saturday morning until Monday. We were informed at pick up that Diesel was behaving aggressively towards the staff. I then called on Tuesday to speak with a manger as he was showing signs of anxiety and howled the entire night when he returned home. I then asked if the dog was fed as we were given 6 out of the 8 cans we provided back when we picked him up, she stated he was. I then inquired about cameras in the facility; so I can see the behavior for myself, she stated they did not have any. I then asked why we were not called to be informed of his behavior, she stated they don't typically call when a dog is boarded for two days. I informed her we were available but they were closed due to the holiday and we would have come immediately to get him. In addition my dog has a cut on his nose from the kennel latch. We were informed the dog was trying to lift the latch, and bite a staff member but unfortunately I don't believe them, as there are no cameras to prove otherwise. While on the call I was also informed during his previous stay he tried to bite a staff member, I advised the manger we were never informed of this, and they should make it a policy to communicate this when being picked up. I am not sure about Ani-Mall. I am concerned when I see only five-star and one-star reviews, because generally it's the middle-of-the-road, less hyper reviews that are closer to the truth. I will say that the vets I've met are competent and congenial. Many of the staff are courteous and professional, too, but some of the non-professional staff members have been so rude, I've had to reconsider whether I want to maintain a relationship with this business. I am also concerned that Ani-Mall has paid for positive reviews on "Demandforce," which is a completely phony review site. I'm giving three stars for now, which is to say, it's an OK place, you might very well end up happy with the service. If something changes, I'll update. read more

I'm so glad that I decided to go to take my kitty to this vet. Dr. Sterlacci is fantastic! He took time to look her over and discuss the issue with me in detail. Discussed medication options.. Everything!! Kitty was happy and relaxed as was I. I expected a high charge given all that was being done but was totally surprised at the cost. Very reasonable! I loved my pets Dr. Jiaro, but I noticed the last visit he was treated by another Dr due to Jiaro not being in, I was not notified that he was not in and I did not agree with the findings of the visit from the Dr that saw my pet. Now all of a sudden they want a deposit for an appointment? Again no communication with thier clients. More of a buisness now rather than a care facility. Finding a new place for my pet. read more

This review is for the pet spa, not the hospital. My long-haired cat Suzie was terribly matted (the fault lies with me, understood), so I booked a lion-cut grooming at Ani-Mall. The girl on the phone said they don't do lion cuts, but they would assess Suzie and groom her. I bring her in, and the receptionist and the groomer tell me that I was the one who didn't want a lion cut done, and not to blame them if she "comes out polka-dotted." I was pretty confused by that, but I just wanted Suzie groomed and comfortable, so I left her there. Well, I got a call back less than an hour later: they "did all we could do, but she's aggressive." Instead of calling to tell me she was more matted than I thought, and asking permission to sedate her (she is a patient at the Ani-Mall veterinary, so they have ALL her medical records) so they could do a thorough grooming, they gave up and sent Suzie home looking like a ragamuffin, shaken up, half-shaved, with poop still stuck to her behind. read more

Ani-Mall is absolutely fantastic. They truly do care about animals, the vets know the ins and outs of veterinary care. I brought my past cat here after multiple vets not knowing what was wrong with him. Dr. Carbone found out what the real issue was and even determined that what a previous vet prescribed was actually doing more harm than good. That cat eventually succumbed to a pretty serious run with Kidney Disease, but throughout his life, the staff at Ani-Mall were very compassionate and helpful. We bring both our dogs, our other two cats, and our newest family member, Wanda there. Wanda was rescued and rehabilitated by the wonderful people at Ani-Mall, and I had the pleasure of bringing her home and adding her to our family. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. read more

We had to put my dog down last week. The women vet was heartless with no bed side manor. She just layed my dog on the scale and put the dog to sleep. I literally have nightmares. It was the most horrible experience ever. read more

We have been using Ani-Mall for over 10 years, and unfortunately their quality has gone down. They no longer focus on patient care but force on their profit and bottom dollar. Their communication is poor and uninformative. When asked questions, they provide quick, brief responses normally a "yea". As mentioned they no longer focus on patient care and continue to use a contact method. Removing the animal form the owner and increasing the animals stress. Even for well visits. Lastly we where told our dog needed an Echocardiogram due to a heart murmur they found. Upon scheduling we had to wait 3 month to schedule and even then needed to "hold the date". The day morning before we called to confirm if the appointment was happening and where told that they would not know until later in the afternoon. When they finally called at 4pm to confirm we where given a "cable installation" timeframe of 12pm -3pm. The animal did not need to be sedated for the procedure and was kept in a crate until and after the procedure. Our dog HATES crate and we could hear him braking in a stressed out state from outside. Lastly after we paid, we still waited 30 mins to receive our pet, and only received him because we violently tried to open the front door which was locked. read more

I brought my cat here for her annual shots, an emergency visit, and twice for boarding. The staff are nice and professional. They don't seem overpriced, at least from what I've seen. Would recommend to anyone and plan to use them again. read more

My family has been a customer of the Ani Mall since we got my first puppy in 1992. Now I'm an adult with my own dog, and I will absolutely continue to utilize this business for my pet health care needs. Dr. Carbone is just the best - she's kind, knowledgeable, attentive, thorough and my dog really seems to adore her :) The entire staff is friendly and accommodating, I've always gotten the impression that they see their customers as extensions of their family; they really care about you and your pets. We have also boarded our dog here multiple times, despite his sometimes extreme hyperactivity and anxiety when apart from us. The staff has been so sensitive to those needs, keeping him distracted and active, and even teaching him some obedience at times to combat all that puppy hyperness! I have been bringing my cat to the Ani-Mall for many years and had a recent emergency with her health...I brought her in and can't say enough about the staff and Dr. Standish...They kept in touch with constant updates and I am pleased to say she is doing fine....The grooming staff is wonderful..She has to be sedated because she is so hard to handle and they take really good care of her...never any after effects from the sedation and she looks wonderful! read more

I love animall because every member of the staff has always been friendly and accommodating. My cat had a serious bladder stone, the largest one they had seen in a while. He had to have surgery and I was very worried. They assured me that he would be ok, and he was. The surgery was well worth the money. Since then, I have had other unrelated health issues with the same cat and they always work diligently to resolve the issues and ensure that my pet is pain free and getting better. They have also taken care of my other cat Lucy with no problems. They love her there and say she is the star of the show, and they interacted with her when I had to leave her there for a few hours. I am impressed by, and can truly say that Dr. Daniela Carbone is my favorite vet, she is honest, caring, and trustworthy. I will never take my pets anywhere else as long as I live in this area. I am loyal to this animal hospital and I trust them based on how they have treated us so far. read more
