I have adopted from them more than once and it's been great…read more All of their kittens go through a foster home until fully vetted and available for adoption. This allows the foster to know the personality of the kittens, which is important when placing them in the right home. I love that the adults get to free roam in their area. The volunteers spend a lot of time with the cats and know a lot about them. They get a lot of love and are spoiled! I see some negative reviews here which is sad. Remember, there is NO paid staff. Everybody is a volunteer, giving their time to caring for the cats. The volunteers are only there at certain times. So there could be a lag in responding to emails, applications or answering the phone. Give them a break. Or better yet.....sign up to volunteer and help out somehow. Rescues always need volunteers and foster homes. To some, their adoption policy may seem strict. It may be. However, they're not looking to lower numbers and move cats, like the larger, open intake shelters. They want the right cat in the right home so it's a win-win for everyone. And being a smaller, private shelter, they can make that happen. They are a 501-c, non-profit and get no government funding. The rely solely on donations and truly appreciate all who donate.

Our favorite spot was the affectionately named Catio adorned with all of the cat toys, games and books one could dream of. We had a lovely time playing with the cats and kittens. Our favorite was Sal and Morgan however all of the cats were very sweet. Loved that they had options for drinks and snacks in the front and the workers were all super sweet, knowledgeable and kind. You can tell they truly care about the wellbeing of the kitties in their care. All of the cats are adoptable and it took all my strength to not sign up to bring one home. You will need to sign a waiver and make sure you have socks as you will have to take your shoes off at the front. If you forget they do have super cute cat cafe socks for sale though so its a win/win! Excited to return to play with the cats and hopefully one day return to adopt!

We filled out an application for Bruce and got a call the same day saying we were approved! He's been in his new forever home for about a few hours now and he's glued to us!! But now I am a loyal PetSmart customer. I had the worst customer service experience ever at Petco earlier, so I went to PetSmart to get the crickets I needed. I was waited on by a very nice young lady there who told me she'd be right with me while she finished up with another customer. I mentioned my bad experience at the other store, and she sympathized with me and was very helpful and friendly. There was only one cashier (who was also very nice and personable) and a line several people long, but it moved quickly. So as an added bonus, I won't have to wait 10+ minutes to check out at Petco anymore.

And of course they get lots of attention in their cute little outfits. They have so many options for clothing for my little ones. It is so fun shopping here. And they don't mind you trying the clothes on your dog to make sure they fit first, which is very helpful. It's fun looking at all the other dogs in the store too. We also take advantage of Banfield pet Hospital inside of the Petsmart. They are super friendly and have good prices, all our animals go here.
