I am THRILLED with the service I have received. Definitely ask for Erica, she has been so thorough, calm and helpful even when navigating my arachnophobia. I had an unbelievable number of spiders in the home after first moving in, including a wolf spider that was very thick and over 2 inches. I genuinely thought it was a tarantula at first. After having Erica treat the home (and talk me off the ledge), I felt confident things would get better. She gave me tips on what to do between services (like making sure to take down any webs as soon as I see them), and let me know that they could come more often with the package if needed. After getting regular treatments, I have hardly any spiders. Times when there is any uptick (like when it's raining heavily), I schedule them for an extra service and it does the trick. Erica has also helped me to get rid of a flea issue with my dog (including spraying the grass), and advising on another pest issue in the garage. Over the holidays when a new rodent issue became apparent, I got to meet two employees I'd never met before: Ernie and Derrick. Both were wonderful: they each came to my house soon after I called, were punctual, and did a great job. While getting my flooring redone, the contractors noticed some termite droppings underneath the floor boards. I needed an inspector and pest control provider to come onsite before the contractor restarted working the next morning. This review is looong overdue! In April this year we needed help with a rat infestation in a our garage. We could see rat droppings. Yikes! The garage had insulation along one wall and partly in ceiling. I used yelp projects to find a vendor and Premium Termite & Pest Control was one of the vendors that responded. They were quick, setup an initial visit that worked within my schedule. (Others did the same). However, when other vendors showed up they all had a "formula" or "process" they wanted to apply to our situation. I knew the house itself was clear of pests, just not the garage. I wanted to have the insulation and shelving removed, cleanup, and professional sanitizing. Why? I could see droppings. Rats and their droppings spread viruses, bacteria, fleas, and more. I could see that rats were active in insulation so this was above my pay grade in terms of dealing with the material, disposal, and sanitizing. I wanted it done in a way I could trust. All the other companies came back with ridiculous estimates for work I didn't need. Inspect and seal the house, and other things. I didn't need that. Premium was fair in their response to my request. I think this is probably due to the fact they are a smaller company with an owner you can talk to. Not a large corporation that pads their process with things you might not need and can't be sure if it was done. It ended up being about a four hour job, so I'm not saying it was super cheap. But there weren't needless add-ons. They offered to come do the cleanup, removal, and sanitizing. They offered a fair bid and did a fantastic job! The garage was spotless and thoroughly sanitized after! After they were done, and garage aired out for the day, I sealed one or two holes I found (I asked them not to worry about anything besides removal and cleaning -- as I'm handy around the house). I did tell them if rats came back, I'd be calling. Good for me, three months later, no more rats. Also Good for me, Premium is at the top of my list next time I need help with pests! read more
