    Foxtail free!
    Megan J.

Beyond pleased with our visit. My girl got a foxtail stuck in her ear this morning and I spent all morning calling around to clinics who either were completely booked or asking over $200 just to see her. After hearing that she was a GSD/pit mix one clinic even told me she would need to be muzzled before she could come in. Very frustrating. Animal Care Center was willing to squeeze her in last minute and charged a $80 exam fee, and I believe the baseline for foxtail removal was $100, plus $166 for large dog anesthesia. Thankfully the staff and the vet were very kind and honest, and they were able to remove her foxtail quickly with no anesthesia or restraints and only charged me $50 for the removal because they were able to do it quickly. They were so gentle with her and the vet was friendly and didn't try to upsell me on anything, and that's pretty rare in my experience. It seems he's truly in it for the love of the animals. I will definitely be going back her for all of my dogs' shots and future procedures. Longtime pet owners know how difficult it is to find an honest fair vet who does it for the animals and not the money, and I'm very very thankful that they were able to help her today. Thank you!

Fur baby waiting for Dr. Singh.
    James B.

Wow! We have found a Veterinarian, Dr. Gurpreet Singh, for our two fur babies. They were friendly, caring, professional, and you can see that they really care about the animals they treat. The staff are absolutely fantastic. One of our dogs has an ear infection and some kind of skin irritation. Typically, he doesn't like strangers but he liked the Doctor and staff at first meeting.

    Jade with Dr Singh

Dr Singh and his team are wonderful! They are pleasant and make our appointments quick and easy. Dr Singh is very thorough in explaining our options and answering any questions we have about our Jade. We highly recommend Animal Care Center! Dr Singh and his entire staff is amazing!

Missed (aka rescheduled within 24 hours) appointment fees are more than the actual exam fee.

I've been bringing my German Shepherd here 5+ years. Service and especially the way Dr Singh conducts business at Animal Care Center has been deteriorating as of late which is why I wouldn't give 4+ stars any longer. Routine service was great over the years and I should have given him a review before but now when situations arise, I'm taking time out of my day so that others can see my experience to avoid the same. I wouldn't give Dr Singh 1 star because he is very knowledgeable and overall decent with pets but his business as a whole isn't client friendly any longer. I'd say 2-3 stars is appropriate depending on his day. Service: This is a separate point but WARNING that Dr Singh charges more for a rescheduled appointment than the actual exam fee - CHARGE THE SAME AMOUNT BUT TO MAKE PROFIT ON A RESCHEDULED APPT IS WILD. Perhaps he's now charging a rescheduling/missed appointment because of less clients, who knows? Also they will present the card reader with a total but not provide the detailed costs before unless you ask, Apple Pay is not available only because he doesn't want to pay the fees associated with this (his words). Business outside is also not kept up, no longer looks welcoming. I will start with this: I am NOT an expert by any means with veterinary care. In February my dog had a skin infection, which was addressed and somewhat cured. Thank you for this! Yet, Dr Singh specifically made a comment that my dog's skin around his genital area looked off. No prescription shampoo was given at that time for that specific area, only to his coat. Fast forward to June, my dog has had a bit of blood droplets from his genitals so I took him to the vet emergency room as Dr Singh could not see my pet. Antibiotics were given and is ongoing for a week, I made a follow up appointment with Animal Care Center as I'm concerned with my dog's health. During this follow up today, he suggested to wait until the antibiotics were done before we proceeded with further tests of possible stones, cancer, etc. Call me ignorant but why did he not suggest this over the phone and now I had to take time away from work with an 30 min drive only to be told this. Then when I ask him why I didn't prescribe the medicated shampoo for his skin infection near his genital area back 2.5 months ago when I originally brought him in his response was "I could have prescribed more expensive medication." This is probably not what most pet owners want to hear from you Dr Singh. More importantly, I will wait to see how my dog progresses over the next week and maybe look for a second opinion of another veterinarian that is good with large breeds. ***Update**** Called for a follow up and Mr Singh has refused to care for my pet, his originally reasoning was he did not feel comfortable with the pet but then changed it due to me leaving him a 3 star review. I went in to pick up my pet's medical records and requested I speak to him directly to provide my feedback as most will leave a negative review behind a screen but never to someone directly. He then proceeded to say he is refusing service because I don't trust him, for looking at a second opinion. I would argue that most people always want a second opinion when the pet owner does not feel comfortable but to refuse service to a pet because of this feels sketch. Yes, I could go leave a complaint to the Veterinarian Medical Board regarding Animal Care Center but at the end of the day it's always about the pets we love, FIRST. Dr Singh made his choices with his operation and just simply want to share my experience so that others can avoid something similar. Lowering my 3 star review due to how Dr Singh handles situations when someone addresses their concerns.

Happy puppy on the road to perfect health! Dr. Singh got rid of his fleas and worms we inherited with him
    Mariah S.

Really loved our experience here. We rescued a new puppy and had to take him in for shots and a check up - he was also full of fleas and worms it was important to get him in ASAP. I called multiple vets including our regular and an emergency vet, and nobody could get us in for 2 weeks. I called this location and they had an appointment sooner than the rest but still a week out, I booked it anyways. Just after I hung up, they called back and asked if I could come in first thing the next morning. Receptionist/tech checked with doctor and he decided puppy couldn't wait so they squeezed him in. Not only was the tech nice, Doctor was awesome. He came in early just to see our boy. We have never raised a puppy before and were completely clueless, he gave lots of pointers and tips that were really helpful! Funny part is - he administered the shots so quickly and gently that I couldn't even tell he did it and my puppy certainly couldn't either! He talked about treatment and what the next few months of visits and shots would look like. I feel like he genuinely cares about the animals he cares for and I am actually going to make this the regular vet for our other two dogs at home. Thank you Doctor Singh and staff!

Dr. Singh took is in within 5 minutes of calling. Our dog had a broken Dew-claw that was very painful. Our regular vet was closed. He and his staff were very attentive and loving to our dog. This is will be our new doggy Dr. Thank you Dr. Singh, Milo is doing much better.

When I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and organized the building was. The open concept floor was not what I was expecting but it was really awesome being with my dog every step of the way. The gentleman that helped us offered a bed for my dog to lay on, which was good because we waited like 5 hours. They offer snacks, drinks, as well as blankets for humans because it gets quite cold in there. Everyone there was kind and friendly. You could really tell they were dedicated to their job and providing the best experience for their patients. My princess loved being able to watch everyone walk around her and was completely content. The doctor even sat with her when we were finally seen so she wouldn't have to be moved. :) All the staff talked to her like a baby whenever they addressed her which made me happy too. Really shows they love animals. Paid about $660 to find out she didn't have a lot of poop in her, but the peace of mind was worth it. Getting to see how they take x-rays was cool too, even if my poor baby had to be manhandled hehe. The bill was much cheaper than I expected, which was nice. It was for the initial exam and the x-rays. Would highly recommend coming here for a transparent, wonderful experience!

My cat had a urinary block, which they were able to identify with an ultrasound immediately. I'm very thankful for that. BUT they priced us VERY expensively for a procedure I was able to get done at another vet clinic for half the price. $7-8000 was what we were quoted from them for a urinary blockage clearing and surgery to remove the stones I was able to go to VCA Bradshaw the same evening and get the same surgery for $4k. I love my cat and considered the option of putting him down due to me not being able to afford the surgery. I'm so thankful that I was able to save my cat for a price I was able to afford with VCA Bradshaw.

For example, I had an appointment for my dog over a month ago. While there, I completely forgot to ask about the flea medication Bravecto, which is available only by prescription and requires a doctor's visit before you get the prescription. I just called the office and asked if they'd be willing to write the script for Bravecto since I forgot to inquire during the appointment, and they were like 'yes, absolutely!' My last vet wouldn't do that, even though I had just had an appointment and a full exam less than two months prior. They made me schedule another appointment for $110 and then get the script, which is already expensive, costing (at that time) around $70 bucks, so I wasn't happy having to pay $180 bucks essentially to obtain the flea medication. The doc at Bruceville Pet Hospital understood that I had just had an appointment, so he didn't need to see my dog again. Pricing is very reasonable here, which is important when everything else is so unreasonably expensive! As a consumer who loves her dog, I truly appreciate not being price-gouged. That said, if you're looking for a veterinarian with an excellent, supportive staff, I highly recommend Bruceville Pet Hospital!

Here's your review, organized but with the fire kept in:…read more **Zero stars if I could. BE AWARE.** I've had pets for over 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. This clinic used to be wonderful -- under the previous ownership (about a year ago), the staff was helpful and the doctors genuinely cared about my cats, giving me real options for their care. Since the new company took over, it's been nothing but problems. **The bloodwork runaround:** My cat had bloodwork done in December 2025. I was told that wasn't recent enough (even though it was only 5 months old), so I brought him in again in May. Then in July, I tried to refill his thyroid medication -- a medication he's been on, that requires bloodwork every 6-12 months -- and it was denied. **The "medical director" ghost:** I was told I hadn't gotten bloodwork done in May. After I pushed back, they admitted I actually had. So I asked why I needed it done again in July when their own policy says every 6-12 months. I asked to speak directly with the medical director and was refused -- instead, a staff member (not a doctor, not in charge) kept relaying messages back and forth. Eventually she came back and told me the medical director "doesn't feel comfortable treating my cat anymore" and dropped us as patients. **All of this -- after 6 years as a client, and over a routine medication refill for bloodwork he'd already completed.** This company is greedy, cold, and unhelpful. They are not interested in giving people real options for their pets' care, especially in their senior years. I've been going to this vet for 6 years and have never felt so disrespected and dismissed. Now I'm left scrambling to find a new vet for my 17-year-old cats. **If you're considering this place -- don't. If you're already a client -- leave. Be aware. Be very aware.**

They've been there for the happy moments and also the incredibly hard ones. When we've had to say goodbye to pets, they were even able to come to our home to provide end-of-life care. That level of kindness meant more than I can really put into words, and it's something that's very hard to find. They've not only cared for my pets, but also cared for animals belonging to my parents over the years, so in many ways they've watched me grow from high school into adulthood and now almost 50, through multiple generations of pets.
