There are a lot of polarizing reviews in this page but as I read the one star reviews. I realized that these were extreme circumstances or the patients just had unreasonable expectations. We took our cat Nova in for a UTI and the front staff was great, the vet tech was helpful, and our vet was very informative. We left with a lot of confidence that our cat is taken care of. It's a shame that emotional pet parents would write so many short sighted reviews. My recommendation is to read the 5 and 1 star reviews and make up your own mind about the validity of some of the claims. I'm not saying that the other peoples opinions aren't valid but having been to 10 different vets in my life, I feel like I have a good pulse in what is good versus bad service and grantline def took care of us

I took my dog, Tibbers, here for an emergency as he got into some chocolate. I called a few places and the lady who picked up the phone seemed genuinely concerned about my pet unlike some of the other places I called. With the other places, they didn't even care if I brought my pet in, however, at Grantline, you could tell that they cared. They asked a few preliminary questions so by the time I got to their facility, they had all the paperwork done and were ready to start the process to induce vomiting the moment I walked in. Everything felt seamless as I was able to get him back in only 1 hour. To induce the vomiting, stabilize him and administer an IV and charcoal solution, the total bill came out to be ~$400. When releasing him to me, they set up expectations of how he should be reacting for the next few days. Unfortunately, I didn't know that he would be extremely thirsty and constantly need to go to the bathroom. He's never had an accident in the house, but even when taking him out every hour, he still had an accident. I'm not sure what caused this, but if it was from something they administered, I wish that they made me aware so I could have been more prepared and known that I needed to take him out more frequently. Other than that, it was a very pleasant experience and I'm just grateful that they were able to help him. Additionally, I was traveling and had bad reception, but Courtney continued to call me and leave me voicemails following up and wanting to check how he was doing. Due to the Holidays, I kept forgetting to call back, but she was persistent and I'm glad to see how much they care! If I'm ever in need of Vet services while in the area, I would definitely come back. I also see that they offer boarding services here so I would definitely need to look into this. Thank you so much to your entire team for saving my baby!

Let me start off; my dog was COMPLETELY Healthy prior to entering this nightmare facility. My dogs just needed their annual shots. ANNUAL SHOTS. And this was the result. The all white dog was treated by my previous vet as he is heart worm positive. Gave him antibiotics; for the slow kill. After treatment; took him to GRANTLINE VET for a heart worm test. He popped positive and was recommended to do another lab test for microfilaria or whatever it's called. DOC and staff did not inform me that this blood draw would be to the neck. By the way they take your dog to the back and you have no idea if they're even giving them what you paid for or just taking them for a walk to go take a shit.. After the blood draw TO THE NECK (which I wasn't informed) my dog had the size of a baseball blood CLOT. I'm certain the staff made a mistake and incorrectly drew blood. Ohh wait it gets better; the total out the door was $820 for two dogs getting basic shots, heart worm tests, one anti inflammatory (meloxidyl 10ml) and one of my pups got the one year heart worm prevention shot. Ohh wait there's more; Docs called me and said that the treatment for heart worm positive dog will be a grand total of $4300. Ohh by the way; a one hour appointment turned to be an all morning appointment; I arrived promptly at 0800 and did not leave the doors till noon. Bring your dog here if you want to experience shitty service, have money to blow, and for the staff to show their fake smiles at you and for you to come home and have fear if your dog will die by the following day due to incompetence. This is terrible and I don't write reviews like this. I am a U.S. Veteran and this is just so sad to see. For businesses like this to rack it up and take advantage of people's emotional support system. They know people will do anything for their pets so they won't let that slide. Everything is money money money; poor quality service and very unprofessional. As you can see my dog is severely bruised from his experience. The second set of photos shows the bruising spread all over his chest area. I definitely don't want their service and best thing yet is they're taking their sweet time after I requested to have all the records and receipts provided to me. Go ahead and try your luck here; I dare you.

When I walked in, I was impressed by how clean and organized the building was. The open concept floor was not what I was expecting but it was really awesome being with my dog every step of the way. The gentleman that helped us offered a bed for my dog to lay on, which was good because we waited like 5 hours. They offer snacks, drinks, as well as blankets for humans because it gets quite cold in there. Everyone there was kind and friendly. You could really tell they were dedicated to their job and providing the best experience for their patients. My princess loved being able to watch everyone walk around her and was completely content. The doctor even sat with her when we were finally seen so she wouldn't have to be moved. :) All the staff talked to her like a baby whenever they addressed her which made me happy too. Really shows they love animals. Paid about $660 to find out she didn't have a lot of poop in her, but the peace of mind was worth it. Getting to see how they take x-rays was cool too, even if my poor baby had to be manhandled hehe. The bill was much cheaper than I expected, which was nice. It was for the initial exam and the x-rays. Would highly recommend coming here for a transparent, wonderful experience!

For example, I had an appointment for my dog over a month ago. While there, I completely forgot to ask about the flea medication Bravecto, which is available only by prescription and requires a doctor's visit before you get the prescription. I just called the office and asked if they'd be willing to write the script for Bravecto since I forgot to inquire during the appointment, and they were like 'yes, absolutely!' My last vet wouldn't do that, even though I had just had an appointment and a full exam less than two months prior. They made me schedule another appointment for $110 and then get the script, which is already expensive, costing (at that time) around $70 bucks, so I wasn't happy having to pay $180 bucks essentially to obtain the flea medication. The doc at Bruceville Pet Hospital understood that I had just had an appointment, so he didn't need to see my dog again. Pricing is very reasonable here, which is important when everything else is so unreasonably expensive! As a consumer who loves her dog, I truly appreciate not being price-gouged. That said, if you're looking for a veterinarian with an excellent, supportive staff, I highly recommend Bruceville Pet Hospital!

This clinic used to be wonderful -- under the previous ownership (about a year ago), the staff was helpful and the doctors genuinely cared about my cats, giving me real options for their care. Since the new company took over, it's been nothing but problems. **The bloodwork runaround:** My cat had bloodwork done in December 2025. I was told that wasn't recent enough (even though it was only 5 months old), so I brought him in again in May. Then in July, I tried to refill his thyroid medication -- a medication he's been on, that requires bloodwork every 6-12 months -- and it was denied. **The "medical director" ghost:** I was told I hadn't gotten bloodwork done in May. After I pushed back, they admitted I actually had. So I asked why I needed it done again in July when their own policy says every 6-12 months. I asked to speak directly with the medical director and was refused -- instead, a staff member (not a doctor, not in charge) kept relaying messages back and forth. Eventually she came back and told me the medical director "doesn't feel comfortable treating my cat anymore" and dropped us as patients. **All of this -- after 6 years as a client, and over a routine medication refill for bloodwork he'd already completed.** This company is greedy, cold, and unhelpful. They are not interested in giving people real options for their pets' care, especially in their senior years. I've been going to this vet for 6 years and have never felt so disrespected and dismissed. Now I'm left scrambling to find a new vet for my 17-year-old cats. **If you're considering this place -- don't. If you're already a client -- leave. Be aware. Be very aware.**

At this point, they truly feel like extended family. What stands out most is the combination of knowledge and compassion. They take the time to explain things clearly, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with decisions -- you never feel rushed, and you always feel heard. They've been there for the happy moments and also the incredibly hard ones. When we've had to say goodbye to pets, they were even able to come to our home to provide end-of-life care. That level of kindness meant more than I can really put into words, and it's something that's very hard to find. They've not only cared for my pets, but also cared for animals belonging to my parents over the years, so in many ways they've watched me grow from high school into adulthood and now almost 50, through multiple generations of pets. That kind of history creates a level of trust that's priceless. The office is clean, the staff is warm and professional, and you can tell everyone there genuinely cares about the animals they treat. If you're looking for a vet team that combines expertise with real compassion, this is a special place.
