Bob was great! We had raccoons keeping warm in our chimney and he came promptly to inspect and start evicting them. He made the chimney not a fun place for them and they stopped squatting within 24 hours without a need to trap them. Then repaired any places they could find their way in through the chimney. Covered our flue completely (per our request!! no need to light our fireplace here) so no unwanted visitors could find their way back in. Bob recently expelled a raccoon that somehow clawed a hole under the overhang of our roof and entered our attic. Bob knows what he is doing. His price is very reasonable. Plus, he's a pleasant and patient guy to work with. Bob first used a "raccoon excluder one way door" (a cage with a one-way door) to ensure the raccoon was out of the attic and couldn't come back in. After waiting for a few days, Bob came back to patch up the hole (a solid job). He also put traps and a camera in the attic to make sure no raccoons were left behind. After another few days, Bob came back to wrap up the job. We also asked Bob to inspect areas under our roof overhand and patch up several weak spots (also a solid job). All in all, this recent raccoon exclusion experience was orderly and even pleasant. It's very different from a previous experience that was rather nasty. Bob is wonderful - thorough, very responsive, honest, and knowledgeable! I had what I thought was a squirrel in my attic. Based on my reports, Bob came out, found the likely entry points, and closed them off (at a very reasonable rate). He set up traps and cameras in the attic, and instructed me to leave the attic access open and garage door cracked so the little rascal could get out once it realized it's normal escape route was no longer an option. Sure enough, no noise for several days - easy, right? When Bob came back to remove the traps, he checked the cameras and it turned out it wasn't a squirrel... it was a raccoon petite enough to not sound like a raccoon. Since it seemed like she was out, we shut the garage door, but he left the cameras and traps in place just in case she was still up there and told me to text if I heard anything. A day later - I heard chirping sounds from my ceiling, and mama showed up in the middle of the day trying to get back to her babies (he did a great job with the exclusion work!). Unfortunately, the kits were in a part of my attic that no normal sized human could get to... so I assumed my options were to either let them starve to death, or resign to living with wild roommates for a few more weeks. Being an animal lover, I texted Bob that I didn't have the heart to watch mom pacing around and listen to the babies suffer - so he told me to open it all back up and let her in, and he knew a way to get her to move her family out. Sure enough, he was there 2 hours later, worked his magic (I won't disclose trade secrets here), and at the next camera check we had 5 wonderful shots of mama trash panda moving all of the babies somewhere not in my house. Throughout the whole situation, Bob responded quickly to me via text, made multiple visits to the house to check on things when I noticed changes, and also wouldn't let me pay him until the job was done. ACE is really a great business: reliable, affordable, trust-worthy and owed by a great guy. The owner Bob came to help us figure out the noises in our attic, and set up a camera. It turned out we had a racoon mom as well as babies. We thought so from the start and had a hard time to find somebody who would not kill but safely release. Bot did even better and encouraged the mom to relocate her babies and herself. He sprayed pheromones in the attic and Mom moved her litter within a couple of days. Bob set up a campera and we patiently watched the racoon and babes move out. Luckily we did watch for some time after, because there was also a squirrel now stuck in the attic who needed some help getting out (opening the one-way trap a crack for it) and we then relocated the camera to find a second squirrel in a differnt location in the house, and released it as well (though a window this time also camera-observed). Bob from Animal Control Experts (ACE) is hands down one of the most incredibly amazing people you could ever hope to do business with! We'd had issues with raccoons for a while and after doing a good bit of research, wanted to give ACE a try. Starting off with a fair $75 inspection (which he refunds if you give him your business - and you absolutely should!) he provided a detailed plan of what he'd do and when; this involved the raccoon removal and vent fencing processes. He also told me which fencing for the vents would be warrantied and for how long. For the work in the attic, he was very thorough in setting up what was needed for the raccoons. He was even kind enough to double check that none of our cats ran up there with him! When it was time to fence the vents, he did an impeccable job and even went above and beyond to help with a troublesome spot on the outside of our house on the second story that had a busted wood slat with an old bird's nest in it. Per my request (not that I had expected him to do this and if he said no, I'd happily understand) he cleaned it out, fixed the slat and informed me of the wood's condition! After much research and neighbors' recommendations, we decided to call Animal Control Experts. Best decision ever. Bob showed up the next day and immediately began a thorough inspection of the attic, roof, garage, doors, windows, weep holes, better then the thorough inspection when the home was purchased. He identified 7 different critter entry points and sealed them up perfectly, like it was part of the original house. He then set traps for rats and squirrels. Came back a couple days later to check and wound up resetting 14 traps that had killed small to large sized rats, no squirrels as they must have been out terrorizing the neighborhood while he was sealing up the entry points. He returned a couple days later with no additional trapped critters. Bob is very affordable, not anything like we imagined and always contacted us with appointment scheduling and whether we are hearing any additional scurrying or scratching.
