My name is Moka - a 5-year old pomchi. My parents took me here to get a birthday cake for me (cupcake was fine with me too), but they got out of work so late that when we arrived to the store, only cookies were left. No worries, I'm a picky eater, so I don't eat a lot anyway. They picked a cute pink bone shaped cookie with "Happy Birthday" written on. They also bough a paw shaped candle and a small donut for me too. I tried it next day and even shared the treats with my sister - Windy the husky. She lives for treats and snacks, so of course, she loves them and enjoyed every bite. Great customer service! The staff greeted me with nicely with paw-some treat. I was shy in the store, but I really enjoyed the snack in the car. They were super nice to my parents too and very accommodating. Staff: SUPER NICE and attentive, they explained the process and helped us get our dog in the tub. Once there they also gave us great advice on how to wash and care for our pet. Such an amazing place! Stopped by for the self-dog wash for my pup Toast who got peed on at the park, and the employees were so friendly upon entering. Service was so amazing! Couldn't emphasize more how accommodating, friendly & helpful the staff were. The self-wash stations are in individual stalls (so good for pups that try to run away), comes with shampoo, conditioner & face wash, towels, aprons and a blow dryer. The self washes are elevated so you aren't hurting your back trying to wash your dog, and the water pressure was just right! water wasn't too hot or cold. They also sell a variety of treats, toys, puzzles etc. Love the freeze-dried raw stuff, organic stuff & the fact that their groomer hand makes a lot of collars and collar charms that are sold here. Prices are super reasonable, the self wash was $20. Our boys LOVE coming here and they always get treated like VIP's but that's how they treat ALL their clients. They have a pretty good selection of treats, food and supplies so you won't have to run to other locations to finish your shopping. We don't trust a ton of people with our fur babies but we trust Animalia 100%! They have grooming services and two stations for self washing. Our favorite part of Animalia is definitely Sam! He's always so sweet and loving with our little one and does the best job. If you're looking for a grooming or supply spot - this is it! Tiana is truly the best. She is sooooo good with Kora, who is not always the easiest when it comes to grooming. She does an amazing job and is kind and gentle with her to where kora now perks up to hear her name. It's also super affordable for doing a bath, trim, anal glands, nails, and teeth! Kora comes back so fresh and soft and smells amazing. We've since moved away from the five minute drive but I will continue to make the 30 minute drive to see Tiana because she's THAT good. She often puts a fun bow for Valentine's Day, 4th of July, Christmas etc. which is also fun. We get so many compliments on Kora's hair as well. We love Animalia and Tiana! read more

This is the place I take my dog to, so I can bathe her myself. I actually bring my own soap but they can bring you soap, conditioner, Brushes, ear cleaner, towels for about $15. It is so well worth it. The water is a perfect temp., and my husky fits great, in the elevated tub very nicely. They also have a blow dryer, if u need. Staff is always friendly. She is so soft when we are done. Well worth taking a trip to this great small pet store. Plus they have high quality snacks for her as well. They do have a grooming dept. as well. I have had amazing services here at Animalia with my havenese mix for almost two years. I'm so thankful my dog has grown to trust her groomers as well. However, this is the second time I have been cancelled on by my pup's groomer. I sympathize with her groomer and understand there was a cancellation due to external circumstances outside of work. Today I walked into Animalia and was told directly in-person that my appointment was cancelled. This made me very frustrated as her groomer previously cancelled the week before. I am upset that neither the groomer nor owner who were present today did not offer to fit me into a future appointment at earliest convenience or discount on the next grooming session. It is unprofessional to have a customer walk into an appointment and not be told beforehand that their appointment has been cancelled. Most of all, I feel sad for my dog who hasn't had the chance to be groomed recently. read more

the food is all expired or short dated, the owner is rude and doesn't take suggestions to make the business better whether thats from customers or employees, the store is constantly dirty and the self wash tubs have rust in them and are mostly unreliable. I recently returned to Animalia for a grooming for my highly anxious 11lb rescue dog. Previously, I was using a mobile dog service to minimize stress on him (he had a rough previous life). However, due to a terrible last experience with this mobile dog groomer, I needed to find an alternative groomer right away and rather not pay an exorbitant price for a mobile service if I can find an affordable alternative. Animalia happens to be the closest groomer to where I live which helps my dog who hates car rides and being cooped up in a cage longer than need be. Tiana was his groomer and she was so personable, friendly and did a great job with him. She also handled him exceptionally, stating he behaved wonderfully (which was a shock to my ears). I will strictly ask for her from now on, as it puts me at ease knowing she can handle a "difficult" dog. The one disappointment I have is their strict up to date rabies vaccine requirement for dogs. The other dog I have had a terrible reaction following a rabies shot, so for her welfare I am unable to get her vaccinated. As a result I have to find another groomer for her. read more

I am new to town and I scheduled a grooming appointment two months out. The day before my dogs appointment, I receive a text saying my groomer sprained her wrist and to reschedule. I rescheduled and took my dog in a today. Staff is completely unorganized and careless of their job. By the time I got home, I get a call saying my dog was not up to date on rabies. Why would they not let me know within the two months of waiting for an appointment?? I go in to pick up my dog immediately and they handed me the wrong dog. My dog eventually comes out with the wrong lease and collar that had another dogs name!!!! TURNS OUT...My dog is up to date on rabies and this is my biggest concern with this company! I just got out of my vet appointment and they let me know my dog cannot be vaccinated my because he is not due for another year. This kind of staff should not be working with animals especially if they don't care to check out documentation. My dog could have been affected long term today or could have even ended up dead. read more

The staff is amazing! I was stuck in Texas due to the South Worst airline meltdown over Christmas. I had to extend my dog's stay at a local kennel until I could figure out how to get home. He needed additional food and the staff offered to run it over if I could not get a neighbor to do it. I was so touched by their customer service. They groomed my puppy Bruno today and did such a great job!! It was his first time so it could have gone either way, but he did well and is so fluffy, soft and smells so good! Thanks for doing such a great job with my baby and I'll definitely be back! Their shopping is fun there too as they have a lot of specialty stuff that they don't carry at the regular stores. We use our own shampoo but enjoy the shammy, towels, conditioner, ear wipes & brushes provided for only $15 each dog. The stations are large enough for both my super shedder dogs and I and are kept clean. This place saved my plumbing. read more

Mary the owner and staff are all great! It's a nice 1 stop neighbored shop for your pet. Food, treats, toys, leashes, grooming, self bathing, and more! Quality foods which is very important! I've been coming here for 6 years with my dog "ROCCO" who is handicapped in his legs. My first thoughts when he became handicapped was okay how the heck is he gonna get groomed, bathed, and everything else! Very stressful thinking. The amazing groomers here said no problem we can do everything still and work around his areas. It was the best news I heard for a long time!! I have him groomed once every month and a half, also since he doesn't walk his nails have to be trimmed every 2-3 weeks. I walk in and hold him like a baby and they cut his nails within 5 minutes! We used to go self-washing our dog "Hayate" at least once a month last 8-9years.It was kind of our family event to wash Hayate there.We had tried many other self-wash places before we found here"Animalia " but no where was better than here! Back when I lived in Garden Grove, this boutique was my go-to for all the things. Dog food, dog toys, dog accessories, and dog grooming. I have yet to find another groomer who was as patient and attentive and loving like they treated my socially anxious tripawd. My girl would always come back smelling so good, and 9/10 times she would have a little bandana put on :) Some of them I kept because they were so cute!
