Took my bichon fries here after hearing their reviews. I think there's only one worker here so it might be a little hard getting a last min appt. But I love the result he looks so cute and fluffed up like a teddy bear. Would come back again. There do offer differ types on services as well and usual pick up time is about 2/3 hours. read more

I wanted to like this place. When she was able to groom my dog, I had no issues. But twice now, she has emailed me my appointment date and time, only to show up at that time and her tell me she thought she scheduled me for a different day. I showed her the confirmation emails both times and all she could say is, sorry, come back later. The first time, I thought it was an honest mistake. But to have this happen twice, when I plan my day around appointments for my family, is terrible customer service. I won't be coming here again. read more

Oh my goodness! First time taking my little fur baby to get groomed here and he came back so clean and nice! The way this place cuts dogs hair is absolutely my favorite, usually i would get my dog back completely shaved and he gets sad when his hair is too short. I've been going to "Dog On Pretty" for many years, even before Eva and her husband came; the first owners of "Dog On Pretty" was absolutely fantastic; Eva's husband was living up to the name, now he's not there, Eva is terrible in every way; first she's lazy, she always look for the quickest way to get my dog groomed, which is to shave all his hair off, she's always saying his hair is matted. I brought my dog to Eva in July, she shaved all his hair off, I took him to her last Tuesday, I wish I can get my money back, she claimed his hair was matted again, I said to her; how could his hair be matted when you shaved all his hair off in July, it just started growing; she wanted to shave it again, just a quick lazy fix for her, I told her no he doesn't need it shaved; my dog look like she just let him air dry after she shampoo him, she did not blow dry his hair at all; he looked better when I brought him in there. I don't know where Eva's husband is but I wish I did so I can take my dog to him. Eva do not have the passion for dog grooming what so ever, she should had left the business to her husband. UPDATE 4/20/19 Still a five star review. We moved from Westminster to Anaheim. We tried a few different dog grooming places near our house & none could get the job done as good as DGP. Took our dog to DGP yesterday (25' drive from our house) and our dog looked extremely cute & fluffy. His nails and all areas that needed to be trimmed were trimmed perfectly the way I wanted. Definitely will keep coming back! *the last 2 photos are the before photos* Eva did a really good job overall. I was so happy to see my dog's paws & nails so clean and trimmed super short. He has wet eyes and those areas were taken care of really nicely too. His fur is really soft and even. A little pricey compared to other places that we've been to. read more

We just had our first experience here and we are very happy. Eva was great from start to finish and she seemed to really care about my two little dogs which was my highest priority. Facility review: The owner/operator was very friendly. The shop itself was very clean and there's zero unpleasant smell. We've been in a few other shops before, Dog Gone Pretty is by far the cleanest! Price comparison: Price for general grooming is the same as previous shop, comparable to other shops I've checked. Overall: Based on all of the above input would've warranted a 4-Star , but the above and beyond which made it 5-Star is this shop didn't have a problem with my 20 year-old senior dog! I have been going to Doggone pretty since 2011. I have a Bichon who is very nervous away from me. I do know that owners have changed, but frankly I still like the service and staff. I loved Melody and so did my dog. I also like the new staff and so does my dog. They fit me in, they deal with me being late. My dog behaves, he gets to sit in his little kennel with the door open because he is a good boy. He doesn't come out but he can, and when the door is closed he is nervous and they know that. He is perfectly fluffed and buffed when I pick him up. I also have brought rescued dogs here from the shelter that are a mess and they clean them up for me. The support the rescue I work for and let me put flyers on their counter. I have gotten many compliments on my dog's haircut and I have given out alot of business cards. read more

This is probably Bubba's 4th or 5th time coming here for a groom. Today I got to take him in for the first time since my brother usually does it and I absolutely love this place! I called in the morning and was told to drop him off at 1pm and pick up at 530pm (they close at 5), however he was ready to go at 5pm. Eva is so friendly and sweet and I knew Bubba was in good hands. Bubba was feeling scared at first when I dropped him off but when I picked him up he was looking mighty fresh and probably just so excited to go home with his new look ;). I just called to make an appointment and found out that Melody has "left". I'm guessing that she's sold the business. I know nothing about the current owners/groomers so sadly my review no longer applies. **Edited 12/07/2012*** I have been taking my dogs to Melody for more years that I can remember. She has been awesome with each and every one of them including my special needs anxiety dog. She is able to groom him without my having to give him sedatives and the fact that he lets her pick him up and hold him says volumes! She does such a good job with clipping (and maintains her equipment)... I have never seen clipper marks in the fur of my poodle mix, border collie or spaniel mix. I was really surprised there aren't any yelp reviews of her shop. AND she just remodeled inside, so it's even nicer. I give her 5 stars with one caveat... she can come off as a little brusk because she's busy and focused on the animals and not making THEM wait, and I actually love that about her. When I've picked up at the end of the day when she wasn't busy, she's always been friendly as can be. read more

I rarely write negative reviews for businesses, but I could not have been more displeased with my experience here. We came here to get our golden doodle her first haircut based on the positive yelp reviews. When we dropped off our dog, the woman behind the counter barely spoke English, which made it difficult to communicate what we wanted. She asked if we wanted a buzz cut or to keep the length the same and we affirmatively told her not a buzz cut, but that we wanted our dog to have a trim. When we got our dog back, she was shaved throughout and given a poodle cut (i.e. her muzzle, tail, and ears were left long and her paws looked like she was wearing fur boots). While this was not the cut we wanted, the most disturbing part was that the groomer had CUT our dogs eyes down to the skin UNEVENLY and the skin by her eyes were RED and RAW. She also had several other patches that were uneven with skin exposed. I paid $75 for the "luxury" grooming and bath experience for my dog to be cut and given several bald spots. I would NEVER bring my dog here again. Very upset and would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their pet. read more

I dropped Molly off at 12 and was instructed to pick her up at 3. I was out shopping and was even given a courtesy call when she was ready to go.
