I couldn't ask for a more professional, caring and loving doggie day care/boarding than Uptown Paw Resort and Spa. My dog "Monkey" stays there 4-5 days a week & once I boarded him for 20 days when I was on a trip, the peace of mind I have as a dog owner when my dog is there is priceless. From the beginning, they have been incredibly communicative, accommodating, and treated my dog as he is their own. Monkey is not the easiest dog, he is a young energetic pitbull mix that is hard to manage at times, yet, everyone at this place is so knowledgeable and well trained that they have exceeded my expectations in treating my dog everyday. The owners, Roya & Parisa along with all the staff are exceptional. They are welcoming and truly feel as a family to my dog. This is the fourth daycare I have used throughout the years and the quality of their service exceeds by far. Their prices are very reasonable. She was really sweet and nice in her message, I would definitely be open to giving them another chance given this exceptional customer service with the quick response to my review and with how comfortable my dog was there when I know that's not always easy to accomplish with her shyness! (Original 4 star review, edited to 5 stars) I really liked this place the first two times I took my corgi here but the last time I took her was kind of a miss. The first two times I loved her haircut and how they did her corgi butt, it was perfectly rounded and so cute. However the last time I brought her in the haircut was more choppy, her corgi butt was choppy instead of perfectly rounded and her tail was uneven with a chunk of hair that was longer than the rest that I had to cut after we got home and I noticed. I didn't bother to check when I picked her up since the first two times had come out so cute but would definitely recommend to check from multiple angles before you leave and before you pay/tip if you have a longer haired dog to make sure it looks good and that nothing needs to be fixed. I'm sure this wasn't the worst it could have been but it was just disappointing since the first two times were perfect and the subpar haircut came after they had increased their prices too. My dog is very shy and can be anxious at times but she's always happy to see me when I pick her up and bring her home from here so I'm glad they're able to accommodate her personality but just wish the grooming was consistent each time. Maybe I'll ask for specific groomers I'm not sure if they keep track and schedule with the same one or if it's always whoever is available since they don't mention anything about that when booking, would be a good thing to consider asking! read more

They seem to genuinely enjoy taking care of Bella and have done an excellent job making her look great and clean after baths and haircuts. I found Uptown Paw about 1 year ago when I was searching for a groomer for my mini goldendoodle (Apollo) who at the time was 4 months old. I remember scrolling through yelp and google 1 year ago, searching for countless hours and reading hundreds of reviews making sure that I found the best groomer in town for Apollo. When I finally came across Uptown Paw I was left in awe just from seeing the pictures of their shop and reading only great reviews about this place. Uptown Paw not only has a gorgeous shop but the owners and staff are extremely nice and welcome you with their arms wide open and are super excited to see you and your pet. I love Uptown Paw! When my golden-border collie mix was getting into mischief at home, I knew I needed for her to get some extra stimulation in during the week. After researching a few places, I decided to give Uptown Paw a try first. I never felt the need to try anywhere else. My puppy is well taken care of at Uptown. We have been there a few times for boarding and baths and they always do a great job!

Kelly and Kylie did a great job on my two pups. My female had nails that curled very tightly and are always difficult to deal with but they did an excellent job and didn't clip the quick. My male has a nasty tail pocket that is gross but they cleaned the heck out of it. Dogs came out smelling great, in a good mood and with little Christmas bows! Love the touch. Also, business was very thoughtful about discussing the curled toes and potential issues. From start to finish, excellent experience and worth the price, which was very reasonable for the level of service. Plus they gave my dogs a special shampoo at no charge for their dandruff..
