    Monkey loving life

I couldn't ask for a more professional, caring and loving doggie day care/boarding than Uptown Paw Resort and Spa. My dog "Monkey" stays there 4-5 days a week & once I boarded him for 20 days when I was on a trip, the peace of mind I have as a dog owner when my dog is there is priceless. From the beginning, they have been incredibly communicative, accommodating, and treated my dog as he is their own. Monkey is not the easiest dog, he is a young energetic pitbull mix that is hard to manage at times, yet, everyone at this place is so knowledgeable and well trained that they have exceeded my expectations in treating my dog everyday. The owners, Roya & Parisa along with all the staff are exceptional. They are welcoming and truly feel as a family to my dog. This is the fourth daycare I have used throughout the years and the quality of their service exceeds by far. Their prices are very reasonable. They post pictures and provide a description of how my dog did on that particular day along with any behavioral corrections, etc. I wish I knew this place years ago and I recommend them without a doubt.

We and our fur babies love Uptown. Their staff is amazing and truly care for our two doodles. ourdogs are always excited to go there for day camp fun and get really excited to see their favorite day camp staff. The owners are also very caring and sweet and love our doggies in return, constantly reaching out to ensure their safety and take special care to always check on them, even when they are home sick or just at home. I highly recommend this doggie daycare. They really go the extra mile to provide best services for our dogs and make them their priorities. I'm very glad I found our dogs a good place for socialization in a controlled, friendly, and loving environment. Thank you Uptown!

This is how my dog Bella looks in every photo I receive from the facility staff. Seems like she's having a great time.

I enjoy dropping my doodle Bella here for daycare, boarding and grooming. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. They seem to genuinely enjoy taking care of Bella and have done an excellent job making her look great and clean after baths and haircuts. They are easy to reach over text and responsive when I need to schedule an appt, proactive in keeping dog owners apprised of how their dogs are doing with photos and end of day reports, and diligent in ensuring all the dogs in their care are up to date on their vaccines. From the photos staff share, Bella seems to get along well with the dogs at the facility and I know she enjoys her time there because she doesn't even bother to say goodbye when I drop her off.

Kona loves going here, this is his second home. The staff are AMAZING! They are very informative and treat Kona like their own! We love receiving the updates whenever he's there- we feel comfortable leaving him there and knowing he will be treated right. Kona is our gentle giant and they know exactly how to treat & care for our Cane Corso.

    I mean, how cute?!?

Just wanted to update my review. Unfortunately my sweet Rust boy passed away. But, last year I adopted a new baby boy and of course I had to bring him here to get beautified. I absolutely adore everyone that works here! They are always so sweet and welcoming. They are super knowledgeable and you can tell they just genuinely care for your fur babies as if they were your own.

The staff are all very friendly and always greet us with a smile. I was very impressed and still am that everyone knew Bodhi by his first name from the first day I started taking him here. My dog seems very happy to play all day with his new friends and I know he lives the staff! He is the sweetest boy and it melts my heart That the staff are all so good to him. I don't have to worry about him when he is with them. Thank you for that feeling if security. Always clean and always friendly. Heather G

We've been taking our pup Louis to Uptown Paw for 3 years now and they're seriously the best! They're so kind and caring, and we love that it's a cage-free setup where he's always being looked after and interacted with. Everyone who works there is super sweet, and the owners are lovely. They're also great about texting and making things easy to schedule. Prices are super fair too. Louis always comes back looking adorable, smelling amazing (for days!), and wearing a cute little accessory. This photo was just after a bath and tidy-up -- they always make him look so good. We've recommended them to friends and will keep doing so! Thank you Uptown Paw!!

I have now brought my pup, Purdy to uptown paw two times for grooming and both times were amazing! I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with allergies. She tends to eat her hair so we ask that they cut her hair shorter and keep her ears short. The groomer met with me before her first cut and listen to everything I told her. She knew exactly what to do and Purdy looks amazing! Everyone who works here is super sweet and they really love dogs! For months we searched for a groomer that would do a great job and we found them! Very professional, clean and they genuinely care.

    Look at that smile tho

Yet another PAWsitive experience with Parisa and the entire Uptown crew. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. My furbaby continues looking amazing, thank you Uptown

This place is a super gem for our pets members. We had 2 dogs staying for 1 week. When we picked them up, they were so clean, fresh and smelled so nice. I can see the high quality, great services, clean and "Pawsity" care at this resort. We definitely come back for our paw members.

Love seeing posts of my boy on their IG

We absolutely LOVE this place. I feel bad leaving our pup home alone and am so thankful to have found Uptown. I drive 15 min opposite direction from work to bring him to daycare 5 days a week. Here's why: -they take unaltered dogs as long as they pass temperament test (my puppy was unaltered until he reached 18 months) -convenient and safe location -FRIENDLY & CARING staff -long hours -rates on their daycare packages -clean, cute vibe and always smells good -gets his energy out -they don't take BS so I know my boy is with friendly dogs and I've always had friendly interactions with the other parents picking up their pups I don't know what I'd do without Uptown! Thank you for caring for my boy!

My dog and I love this place!!! I often drop him off for day care on weekends or when I have a really busy day. Luc really hates the car, but when he knows we are going to Uptown, he is wagging his tail and can't wait to barge through those doors. I love that the staff shows so much love for my baby and makes sure to write a report card every time he stays with them. I have boarded him there many times when I would go on vacation and he always comes back tired yet happy. I would highly recommend Uptown for anyone who is looking for a safe, fun place for their dogs :)

I love Uptown paws. My dogs enjoy going there and I feel they're always well cared for. I use them for daycare and for boarding overnight and I recommend this business to anybody with a dog.

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

My dogs had never been boarded before, and I'd never been away from them, so finding the right place for a 17‑lb dog and a 75‑lb dog felt stressful. Ryan could take my small dog, but my big girl needed a different setup. He then suggested in‑home boarding with Myriam, which turned out to be the perfect fit. I toured several kennels, even the upgraded "suite" options, but the constant barking made my big dog anxious. Myriam's home was the complete opposite--calm, comfortable, and clearly designed with big dogs in mind. My dog relaxed with her right away. She has a large enclosed yard where my pup spent hours playing fetch, and Myriam sent daily updates and photos throughout the five‑day stay. As a bonus, since she wasn't watching any other dogs, she welcomed my small dog too, so they could stay together. I'll absolutely return to Myriam for future boarding. With the exception of a couple of people that showed cared but they were not there when diego supposedly showed his teeth. Diego is a very lovable small dog, he is not a big vicious dog, and is very strange that at Paws Chateau he NEVER shows teeth or does any of the things you said, in fact, all of the staff there love Diego, and he has fun with the other dogs. This was my very first time doing any sort of dog care so I was really worried about leaving them. They did really well and my other dog had so much fun (he's a social butterfly). The main reason I chose this place vs all the other dog boarding is because they offer a "home" living experience rather than a facility/warehouse. My dogs always freely roams the house and lays on our bed, couch, wherever they please so I wanted something similar and Wendy's house provided that. August 11th The Day We Lost Louie…read more Our six-year-old French Bulldog, Louie, died from heatstroke just two and a half hours into what we were told would be a four-hour trial day at this daycare. We were told the purpose of the trial was simply to see whether Louie could get along with other dogs. We were never told that he would be taken to a dog park or participate in strenuous outdoor activity. We chose this daycare because the owner told us she owns a French Bulldog herself, and because the daycare had very good reviews. We trusted that our French Bulldog would be understood and properly cared for. What happened that day is something we will never forget. 9:00 AM -- We dropped Louie off for his four-hour trial. 9:30 AM -- Just 30 minutes later, Louie was taken to a dog park for outdoor activity without our knowledge. We had never been told that he would be taken off the daycare premises or to a dog park. The temperature that day ranged from approximately 77°F to 85°F. 10:18 AM -- According to the daycare, Louie vomited after the activity. We were not informed when it happened. 11:30 AM -- More than an hour after he vomited, we received a photo of his vomit. At the same time, we were communicating about payment and completing a reservation for his future stay. We were given no indication that Louie was experiencing a potentially life-threatening emergency. 11:45 AM -- We received a phone call telling us that Louie was not breathing. 12:00 PM -- Louie was pronounced dead from heatstroke. Our dog went into the daycare alive and healthy at 9:00 AM. By noon, he was dead. What is especially devastating is what we learned afterward. We were told that they had never seen Louie breathing so heavily before. We were also told that they had tried giving him water, but he was vomiting. For a French Bulldog, excessive panting, vomiting, and difficulty breathing in hot conditions can be serious warning signs of overheating and heatstroke. French Bulldogs are particularly vulnerable to heat because of their shortened airways and difficulty cooling themselves efficiently through panting. Yet during the critical period when Louie was apparently struggling, we received no immediate warning and no update about his condition. The owner was also not present at the daycare at the time. We later learned that she had a doctor's appointment, which contributed to a delay in communication. While the adults were dealing with schedules, appointments, and communication, Louie was suffering--and we knew nothing. This was supposed to be a simple four-hour trial to see whether Louie could socialize with other dogs. We never agreed to have him taken to a dog park in temperatures reaching 85°F. We never imagined that he would be subjected to strenuous outdoor activity in hot weather. We are devastated that Louie was placed in this situation while in someone else's care. We trusted this daycare because we believed they understood French Bulldogs. That trust was shattered in the worst possible way. Louie was in their care. We trusted them to keep him safe. We expected him to come home. He never did. Louie was not just a dog. He was part of our family, and we will never get him back.
