Disappointing Experience - Not Recommended I recently took my dog to this grooming place, and unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. Upon picking up my dog, I noticed he was excessively thirsty, likely due to the salty treats provided. Furthermore, he couldn't stop scratching himself, leading me to suspect an allergy to the overpowering perfume they use. Shockingly, the next day, my dog had flea bites all over his thighs, indicating a serious flea infestation in the facility. To make matters worse, the lack of healthy pet treats was disappointing, especially considering the prices charged for their services and how long they keep your dog. As a customer, I feel compelled to share this experience, and based on it, I won't be returning. I strongly advise against choosing this place for your pet's grooming needs. The only reason it's hard to get an appointment is because they are only open 4 days away and don't release their calendar for the following month till the beginning of the month. It's crazy business model. Not recommended. read more

As a rescue Maltipoo, he was filled with anxiety and uncertainty ( left in a cardboard box on a busy intersection and weighing only 2 lbs.). Salty Paws instantly understood our needs and were able to accommodate us with very caring and patient service. What is truly miraculous is how comfortable Teddy was going through his grooming experience with Salty Paws. He was happy and relaxed when I picked him up and brought him home. Long overdue review!! I've been taking my mini golden doodle every 2 weeks to Salty Paws since they opened 2 years ago and it's such a relief having a place that I know will take good care of my dog. If you're a doodle owner you know how hard maintenance can be and I love knowing they will keep her hair well groomed. I also happen to have a dog who hates being anywhere without mom but the girls always love on her and make her feel comfortable while she's there. Highly highly recommend them!! Their prices change every time I go, so I pay from 40-60 for the same service every time(kept receipts for budgeting purposes). They seem very nice, but unfortunately we won't be returning. They informed me my dog has too much energy and that he doesn't like being in a crate or loud noises from the dryer. Not sure how many dogs like being caged up while other dogs are walking about or the loud noises of a dryer that resemble a vacuum but I'm not an expert. All in all, they usually do a great job but this last time was very very different. He was still wet, and they didn't really want him there. They could have been having a bad day, not sure but we won't be returning. I do wish them the best and am hopeful that this is an isolated incident and not a reoccurring one. read more

We're pretty "salty" after our experience here... We walked in to have our small 5lb chihuahua groomed but were told that we needed to make an appointment as they were booked solid for a few weeks, so we gladly made the appt for a month later. Today, our appt was 9am we were told that it could take up to 3-4 hrs for him to be seen and finished, we were a little confused seeing as our appt was AT 9am but decided to leave him as one of the owners had said she was still working on her 8am and could wash him and let him dry while she finishes the other dog. My husband had specifically stated he wanted nothing more than a simple trim no bells and whistles so we hoped leaving him there for 2 hrs should be a sufficient amount of time. Upon his return, our dog had been untouched and was told it would probably be another 2 hrs but if he wanted to do "express" he could pay another $20 on top of the $75 she was charging! Her reason for the delay was having quite a few walk-ins?! Im so confused by this, what was the point of making an appointment a month ago?! Aside from the crazy delay based on their website $75 was for small breeds that included "the works", my husband was clear in requesting none of that and only wanted a trim which should have been $45. And now they wanted to add an additional charge? Wanted to like this place bc of how close it was but after this experience read more

Mallory is the absolute best groomer in the world. My dogs LOVE her! She is extremely knowledgeable with different breed cuts and has mastered the Afghan hound grooming which is no easy task. My dogs are so excited every time they visit her. She is gentle and kind and so sweet with my 12 year old cocker spaniel mix.
