I'd emailed Pet Sitters Club at short notice to establish walks for my puppy Leo, and James came early to our apartment on a Saturday morning to set everything up. He saw some behavior to be corrected with Leo and he went right into training mode which was great for me as a first time puppy mother to learn. He also gave me other tips that I've incorporated into Leo's training. Leo's walked by Gabby daily and we're really happy with her! Our family adopted a dog from one of NDLB's Chinese Sanctuaries in East Asia 7 months ago. I have…read morenothing but praise for all of the staff encountered throughout our adoption process, (which from start to finish took a little more than three months). NDLB is an incredible 501(c) (3) non-profit and their global mission of rescuing dogs and cats from immense suffering and complete abandonment, along with their exceptional care and concern for each survivor (no matter the gravity of each animal's injuries), is nothing short of outstanding. The dog we happened to adopt is a Japanese Akita Inu and happens to go by the name Romeo because he happened to be saved from slaughter on Valentine's Day (on February 14, 2020). The founder of NDLB , Jeff Beri, and his crew actually risked their lives twice to save our dog. Once (due to the strict Covid-19 Restrictions in China at that time and a second time to challenge the people who were about to slaughter him). I personally found all of the NDLB staff I interfaced with during the adoption process very personable and easy to connect with. More importantly, I found the staff demonstrated great care and concern for their animals throughout the adoption process. While waiting for Romeo's freedom flight to New York, we received multiple videos and photo's along with ongoing communication from the NDLB Chinese staff who were with him daily. The New York staff made sure I (along with my husband), understood all the possible challenges that came with adopting a dog from overseas and wanted to make sure we were up for this type of challenge. All I can say is Romeo has completely changed our family's life. Our family over the years has had three dogs. Romeo was our first overseas adoption, by far, he is the most considerate dog we have ever had the pleasure of owning, and is always looking out for our well-being. One last positive has been, over the past months, being able to maintain on going contact with Romeo's team in China, and being able to send photos and videos of him here having all sorts of fun in the USA. But since I brought Humphrey (my magical wonder kitten) home, my heart has opened back up. He brings me such joy and peace every moment. He's chatty, cuddly, social, and so sweet. They are hand-raising each little fuzzball with care and actual love, high socialization and new experiences - absolutely everything you'd want a kitten to have in those first crucial months of life. I don't have a lot of money, and I was really scared to take such a large financial risk, but I've only had my kitten home for a week and I can't imagine anything in the entire world being more worth the investment. Thru the entire process, I felt safe and reassured working with Elena - she answered all of my (many, many) questions, sent regular pics and vids, and was a total joy during the whole process. Elena and her merry band of fairy children are not just raising kittens, they are putting love and light out into the world where it is desperately needed - of course on a personal level for each lucky human who brings one of their sweet baby angel kitties home, but the love we exchange with these fur-babies will shine like a beacon for others out in the world. I have been bringjng my pets here for few years and I never really had a problem, however my last…read morevisit here has been so horrible that I will have to find different vet care now. I took my elderly cat here because she was having diarrhea, vomiting as well as rapid weight loss, as you can imagine this is a serious concern! The vet saw her, they ran tests and gave me medication for the symptoms and told me I will hear back in 1 or 2 days. I didn't hear anything so I called on the 3rd day, I was put on hold for about 20 minutes so I had hang up and call back, when they finally pick up, I am told there was a "slight delay" with the results and that the doctor is going to call me, I asked when and then I am told the doctor won't be back until Sunday... You guessed it, Sunday comes around and nothing. I spent the whole day trying to get answers, at some point I was put on hold just to get hung up on. Finally, they tell me the doctor will call at around 4 or 5 pm, 5:15 pm comes around, I call, They are now closed! Next day, which is today, I call and they are just not picking up the phone, I am guessing they are closed. Tomorrow will be 1 whole week since they saw my cat, I got no answers, my cat is still sick and I am left feeling like my beloved cat is just a $ money sign for them.

He actually called my references which is more than some jobs I've applied for. Martin knew his cats personalities and was able to recommend a cat with a temperament that we were looking for. He was also super generous throughout the whole adoption process. He delivered our 'Henry' to us personally and brought a huge bag of litter, dry food, and wet food to get us started. Henry is loving, sweet, and very gentle just like Martin told us he was. I would adopt from Martin again in a heartbeat. FYI - I'm posting this review in Sept 2019, but adopted Henry in Feb 2019.
