We came here for a nice foot spa massage. It was very worth the drive and price. They are reasonable and also clean and bright! One of the things I appreciated about this place was that our masseuse listened to what we had asked for. I've had many massages but by far this was the worst massage experience I've had. I can't say the therapist was rude, but she was utterly clueless. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She did not speak English well enough to understand basic coaching or feedback.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She kept working the same spot for nearly 10 minutes even after I tried to redirect her. Instead of using her hands she mostly used elbows and forearms, and it was obvious she did not understand muscle anatomy or how to adjust pressure appropriately. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I even asked for someone else, but was told no one was available because everyone else was in a room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To make matters worse, the bed smelled strongly and unpleasantly like heavy cologne, and there were no other rooms available. I was there for only about 20 minutes but was charged for "30 minutes" at $35, even though the posted rate was $55 per hour. I left feeling worse than when I arrived. It was my first time visiting this massage place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was greeted right away. However, it was only because the person was coming to get water. I had requested a 90 min, full body massage. When the massage started, it was fine. The pressure was good. However, it quickly went downhill after that. The lady kept going over the same areas. The movements were extremely repetitive, and it didn't appear that she knew many variations to target the muscles in my back or around my shoulders. I eventually told her to just move on because I was literally getting sore from her working on me. She moved on to my legs, and that was fine, but when she got to my shins, she kept going over my shin bone, and it felt like she wasn't noticing that I was uncomfortable. The calve massage was bad. She didn't even use pressure because I told her my shin was hurting, so she was really soft on my calves. My foot massage was the same....she was going soft and then would massage the top of my foot. That was hurting, so I just told her to stop. Overall, the place looked clean, and the masseuse was nice. But she clearly doesn't know how to manage her time for a longer massage. She doesn't know different techniques or the anatomy of the body well enough to target the muscles. I was charged $80 for the massage, and I gave an $8 tip for the time spent. The guy at the front put the cash in his desk, so I don't even know if the lady got the tip. If you're looking for a more targeted massage, don't waste your money here. Go to a better place. Otherwise, you will end up even more sore than when you came in. read more

We always all ahead to schedule a time and to tell them it'll be a couples massage as we are both in the same room together. They usually pair us up with a guy and a girl as the masseuse. They are pretty consistent in the pattern of a full body/back massage. We always get the hour long massages. I'd say it is more of a "Swedish" type of massage. Meaning nothing too hard. Though we often wish they give a little bit more pressure when applying their squeezes. The place is kept clean, nice ambiance and relaxing music. Had 30 min foot massage and 30 min full body. The foot massage was just ok and the full body was quite good. I was on my face down the entire time. He used good deep pressure and checked in with me throughout the massage. He didn't know a lot of English, so know that going in. It's not a problem really, not much needs to be communicated when getting bodywork. The massage went like this: you begin face down, covered w/ a large towel. Sam does some acupressure first and then uses a generous amount of oil to massage the back of your body. No worries he leaves the room and comes back with hot towels to wipe the oil off. I was confused because he didn't say anything and turned over. When you are face up he massages your feet, legs, arms, face and scalp. He wipes you again down with hot towels. I got the 60 mins foot massage for $35. The first 30 mins was a head massage, mixed with shoulders/upper back, neck and hands while your feet soaked in a warm bucket of water. The foot massage was mixed with calves and ankle deep tissue type of massage. Unfortunately, I didn't get the satisfaction of a "foot massage"; it was more like a lotion rub down. My heels were not massage and none of the pressure points on my feet were targeted. The foot massage was based in the middle of my foot, which doesn't relax me. Especially if it's in the same spot consistently for 10 minutes straight. The male massage therapist was kind and had some power to him, which felt great when massaging my calves but honestly, I wasn't all that satisfied with the entire experience. I wanted 60 mins of straight foot massage, nothing else. If I wanted other things, I would've got the other package that consisted of half body and half foot.
