This was by far the worst massage I have ever had. The woman's technique was to abruptly pinch my flesh or use her forearm for the entire massage. Her forearm up and down and up and down my back. She repeatedly ran her forearm painfully over my spine. And when it came to the hot stones, she pulled them so forcefully up my back, that they crashed into the base of my skull. Repeatedly. Not only was it not relaxing, I am now in more excruciating pain than I was when I walked in. There is no way that these people are properly trained. When I made the appointment I asked for females and when I got there they were trying to have a male massage my girlfriend and I wasn't going to have that so I said I would take the male so she didn't have too. I cut the session to 30 minutes because it was just so bad he obviously is not licensed and was just rubbing my body and doing nothing but using his shoulder. Just a very horrible experience. I base my tip on the skill of the masseuse and what I can afford. Twice now when paying, the person at the desk has said I did not tip enough and said next time do better. You are the employer. She was definitely tough on those knots and it was painful at times but in a good way ... anyone who's had a deep tissue massage knows what I mean. I showed her exactly where the pain was and she focused on that but also made sure I left feeling relaxed all over. She got all the knots out and I feel so much better already than when I walked in.
